The rubber gel top coat is too liquid like the top coat from regular gel. The rubber gel base is the one that is thick so I don’t think will encapsulate.

My only question is: do you have to cure the polish for 2 minutes when you use other brands? The brand I have only requires 1 minute. I understand curing the builder rubber gel for 2 minutes, as it is quite thick.

Thanks Nancy! I always recommend 2 minutes because half of the lamps outhere say 36 to 48 watts but in reality the output is less than that, remember this is Rubber Gel, and it will be a lot less thick than Builder Gel that tend to be thicker, also rubber gel is less aggressive and easier to remove than builder gel...Thanks for the support!!! 😉🌹💖🌹

Beautiful! You made her natural nails look so gorgeous! I’m curious though, other than wiping with alcohol is there any other prep that needs to be done like a dehydrator? Also, I loved how informative and clear you made the whole process. Including the side picture of each tool as you were using itbwas so helpful. Thank you!
Thanks! No, just wipe with the alcohol pads. Since it is a gel product you don't need to apply dehydrator. 🌸❤️🌸
A dehydrator is an alcohol based liquid so using a dehydrator is pointless and not needed, maybe a primer or bond would be more useful
Do you cure in between the layers of the rubber gel base coat?

Does all of the filing near the cuticle leave an indentation on the nail bed when the nail grows out or when the gel is soaked off?
No, you should smooth the back edge of the layers until is level with the nail surface so you won’t get water under the gel. I did this video with dipping but the same principles always apply to every material:

One more question: can you use builder gell before applying full nail tips? Would you apply the builder gell, cure it, then apply the gell glue with nail, cure that, then proceed with manicure? Or do the builder gell after the nail extension is on?
Personally Nancy, I try to use builder gel more to glue rhinestones and the likes to the nails but not to build and form the nails to avoid damaging the nails and then get the complains from the clientele (but that's me...) also with builder gel you probably will get thicker layers and I prefer to glue the tips with glue for tips and they will last the same... 😉🌹💖🌹
Is it only one coat of rubber base gel? Can you use a regular gel top coat and not base top coat?
Hola Marisela. Rubber Base will create a thicker layer than regular gel, you can apply another coat if you want more volume.
And yes, you can use regular gel top coat but for a longer lasting nails I do prefer to apply the top coat for rubber gel.

Rubber Gel you need to remove and do a new set, you cannot re-fill it.🌷💕🌷

Hi. You need to clean well any overflow of gel on the skin by the edges with a brush soaked in alcohol or an orange stick. Any tiny gel left there will peel the application, this brand or any other. Trust me, this brand is excelent!😉🌸❤️🌸

Is not a good idea to refill the rubber gel since can peel if you re'fill it. And is a not as thick as guilder gel or thin as regular gel. 😉🌹💖🌹

You can apply Primer wich is to dehydrate the nails prior to the gel but I did used alcohol that did the same dehydrating funtion…😉🌸💕🌸

@@psikopatcivciv6978 Yes it will. just takes longer and thats ok. You can test your UV device by curing some gel and timing it to see how complete it cures. Lift the cured gel off and see if the bottem is sticky or fully cured.

No, is half way between regular gel and builder gel in consistency.🌸
How is rubber gel different from builder gel?
The difference between the Builder Gel and the Rubber Gel is that the ingredients in the builder gel are far more 'aggresive' than the Rubber Gel so it got the tendency to cause some damage to the nails and is more difficult to remove.
Rubber Gel last longer and is easier to remove plus it does not damage the nails. I personally recommend this brand you see in the video, I use it all the time with my costumers.

The Rubber gel is easier if you press a cotton ball soaked in acetone and wrapped and sealed in aluminium foil, same for Builder gel after filing out the surface a bit first. I don't recommend filing out builder gel completly since you can damage the nail.
