    I absolutely love this base coat. In my opinion it's easier than using builder gel , when all I need is a simple overlay😌. I've been using this builder gel on my nails for about a month until I got another set of nails done and I've been able to grow my nails stronger and longer everyday. Even after washing dishes I'm still met with a shiny thick overlay while other base coats tend to peal because the heat of the water and that goes for showering too. 10/10 would buy again .

    So I had an allergic reaction to the builder gel it makes my nails detach from the nail bed. I’ve been doing nails for decades so I know it’s not application. I can wear acrylics just fine. So I messed around and used a gel basecoat for acrylic and it works like a champ. I wanted to use the press one like apre or beetles. I too have scouring you tube looking for anyone else doing this and so far only you and one other. Instead of builder gel I put acrylic inside the tip and put it on and it works beautifully

    • @addicted2pinknails
      @addicted2pinknails  11 місяців тому

      Thank you!! 💖 Yes, you can use Rubber Base to glue tips. You just apply a small amount to the tip or your nail, hold the nail in place to apply the nail then cure. You don't have to apply a layer to your nail first.

    A lot of rubber base coats instruct to not cure between the first thin layer and the second thicker layer when applying on natural nails. Would this be the same for your base cast?

    • @addicted2pinknails
      @addicted2pinknails  Рік тому

      I've used it both ways and didn't have a problem either way. It depends on how you're using it. If you're doing a gel overlay or structure gel mani using the rubber base the first layer helps the second layer fall into place, so you wouldn't want to cure it.

    I ran into a problem this last time doing my nails. After applying top coat I noticed that my nails are still thin and bendy. I only applied one thin coat of base under gel polish. Can I file back the top coat, apply another coat of base, and finally reapply top coat?

    • @addicted2pinknails
      @addicted2pinknails  Рік тому

      Yes, you can file away the top coat and gel color and reapply the base. Depending on how many layers of polish you may just want to start over because you may not be able to file it away neatly.

      @@addicted2pinknails ahhhh 😌 I was hoping to save the gel polish and not have to redo the whole thing.

    I want to buy a pink colored rubber base coat. Do I need to apply regular base gel first? Also, do I need a clear top coat to seal it? If it's uneven, can I file it after curing to even it out? Or will that ruin it?

    • @addicted2pinknails
      @addicted2pinknails  Рік тому +2

      As long as it's a rubber base, regardless of the color, you don't have to apply the clear first. Yes, you'll need to apply a top coat. You can file the nail. I would suggest using a fine grit and filing lightly. Sometimes buffing in place of filing works if the imperfections are minimal. I hope this helps. 💖

    • @addicted2pinknails
      @addicted2pinknails  3 роки тому

      Hii!!! 👋🏽 Make sure you are capping your free edge with base, polish and top coat. Also make sure you are removing excess product that may get on the skin. Rubber base coat is still a base coat. It is just thicker and has more uses. You can definitely apply regular gel polish and any top coat over the rubber base coat. I hope this helps.

    I tend to prefer acrylic, but gosh I have one person who is so rough on her nails I have to fix them every five days or so. Swapped to rubber and she can squeeze two weeks now.
    Oh it’s my mom btw. So the every five days made me $0

      🤣the non paying customers are always so hard on their nails. Lol. Does she do a lot with her hands?
      Try applying YN protein bond then apply the rubber base. After you cure, apply a thin layer of clear acrylic then proceed with your acrylic design. Using these steps helped with those clients who are a little rough. 💖

      Hi! It's a Stainless Steel Top Coat. It definitely has a lasting shine, unlike regular top coats that go dull after a few days. I have a video on my IG page that shows the shine is still there after 3 weeks. It's available on my website, plus I offer a discount code. All of the links I mentioned are in the description box. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!! 🤗💖
