I absolutely love this base coat. In my opinion it's easier than using builder gel , when all I need is a simple overlay😌. I've been using this builder gel on my nails for about a month until I got another set of nails done and I've been able to grow my nails stronger and longer everyday. Even after washing dishes I'm still met with a shiny thick overlay while other base coats tend to peal because the heat of the water and that goes for showering too. 10/10 would buy again .
I purchased both these products about a month ago and have been using it since then so..... OMG HANDS DOWN A MAJOR GAME CHANGER IN MY NAIL ROUTINE! I HAVE HAD O LIFTING SINCE I HAVE BEEN USING IT AFTER ALL MY PREP AND PRIME ROUTINE WITH ACRYLIC OR GEL. IM SO SO HAPPY I PURCHSED BOTH OF THESE. Love this video!!!!!! Been trying to find any info on if it can used as a glue for tips.. I’m curious however, do you put a layer of rubber base gel and cure it on your nail before putting it on the tip to fully cure??
Thank you!! 💖 Yes, you can use Rubber Base to glue tips. You just apply a small amount to the tip or your nail, hold the nail in place to apply the nail then cure. You don't have to apply a layer to your nail first. @lovedbyverdienails has a video on her channel using this method to apply tips.
A lot of rubber base coats instruct to not cure between the first thin layer and the second thicker layer when applying on natural nails. Would this be the same for your base cast?
I've used it both ways and didn't have a problem either way. It depends on how you're using it. If you're doing a gel overlay or structure gel mani using the rubber base the first layer helps the second layer fall into place, so you wouldn't want to cure it.
Thank you for such a useful video. I got the products and can’t wait to use them! 😊 I ran into a problem this last time doing my nails. After applying top coat I noticed that my nails are still thin and bendy. I only applied one thin coat of base under gel polish. Can I file back the top coat, apply another coat of base, and finally reapply top coat?
Yes, you can file away the top coat and gel color and reapply the base. Depending on how many layers of polish you may just want to start over because you may not be able to file it away neatly.
@@addicted2pinknails ahhhh 😌 I was hoping to save the gel polish and not have to redo the whole thing. But technically if I manage to take off the top without damaging the color layer, I could still apply base coat over the color and then top coat right?
I see a lot of short about growing nail under rubber coat and thinking of buying too then i remember the UV nail gel i have and i have a rubber base coat🤭 its perfect gonna try this (the only missing is top coat😭can i use clear polish?)
Thanks super helpful! Would you recommend doing this coat as a filler for outgrowth? I’m trying to figure out a schedule that has me doing less grinding down of my nails and uses maybe 2-3 fillers before removal. I’m even thinking of doing the rubber base coat then putting peel off base on top for easy removal of colors.
Hi thank you.. in number 3 where you used the rubber base to apply full cover nails. You mentioned you already applied a layer to you natural nail… was this layer cured? Susie.

I’m sorry I’m new to this but I have a Q. Ok let’s say I use it as a base coat just to strengthen my natural nail. When I apply polish does it have to be a gel polish or can I use any kind of polish ?
I want to buy a pink colored rubber base coat. Do I need to apply regular base gel first? Also, do I need a clear top coat to seal it? If it's uneven, can I file it after curing to even it out? Or will that ruin it?
As long as it's a rubber base, regardless of the color, you don't have to apply the clear first. Yes, you'll need to apply a top coat. You can file the nail. I would suggest using a fine grit and filing lightly. Sometimes buffing in place of filing works if the imperfections are minimal. I hope this helps. 💖
If I use this as a base coat with gel polish on top or to grow my nails stronger do I need to take everything off every set of nails or just fill them in each time?

Do all rubber base work the same as in the video or only from your brand
Most rubber base SHOULD work the same, but I haven't tried others to compare and give you an honest answer.
Is curing required for any of these many uses?
Yes, you should always cure Rubber Base as it is a gel.
Do you have to blend the tip into the natural nail or just apply the rubber base on top?
Hi! It's a full cover tip, so no blending is necessary. You can clean up the sidewalls and cuticle area if necessary. Tfw💖
Does rubber base gel need a primer first, or can I just use alcohol?
You can use alcohol to remove dirt. I would suggest a dehydrator to remove excess oil, but the rubber base acts as a primer as well.💖
Do do I need to remove rubber base coat before adding extensions
No, it works great as a primer underneath extensions. I would suggest adding a fresh layer if it has been worn by itself for a few days.
