  • Meall nan Tarmachan Ridge walk. Amazing but not for kids in our opinion! It started grey and rainy. Quickly got roasting hot. Ended up with sunburn! The rocky ridge traverse is brilliant and Walk Highlands say it’s one of the most interesting in the Southern Highlands. There is a short, avoidable scramble on the descent from Meall Garbh. We found it challenging and hence we wouldn’t advise kids do this section.

    Well done!😀💯👍👍
I would think carrying a pair, or at least one hiking stick would help her confidence. Sticks certainly are a huge help if one slips or stumbles. Keep at it young lady. You willlove it.
I LOVED my time in Scotland in 1997. I did three Munroes. Slioch, Bein Eighe, and of course Ben Nevice.
DO NOT feel bad about the "bum shuffle". Been there and done that many times :) including this hike on Mt Reynolds in Glacier Park. 😎😎
The very end of the video is at the summit 9329ft
