Hey Kev, I have recently bought a Kg of your ‘Chocolate Brownie’ beans which I am working my way through :) in my Bialetti Moka pots……. So……. are you gonna do your own pods?
Cheers Grahame 🙂 Hope you're enjoying the chocolate brownie blend? My favourite blend that, I drink it every day. Re pods, it's not something I've looked at doing just yet, we've just completely relaunched Cworks.co.uk recently so there's been a lot to do, but I wouldn't rule it out in the future as long as we can make them fully compostable and as long as we can do it in a way that doesn't require huge bulk so we can keep them nice and fresh. Cheers, Kev.
This looks exactly like my machine, which is a Williams Sonoma brand! I've had it for about 5 years, and it takes the nespresso type pods. Williams Sonoma doesn't sell it anymore for whatever reason, but it works fine and, again, looks EXACTLY like this. Having written that, I don't really use it. I've tried many, many pod variations, and none taste like true espresso. They may be fine if you're someone who adds sugar or flavors or creamers and syrupy stuff. That's fine here and there, but for every day, I like plain strong black espresso, so I'm researching actual espresso machines. It's quite a rabbit hole and so much to learn! 🙄
You are right. Grind just repackaged machines that have been around for over five years. Here’s a video from six years ago ua-cam.com/video/NvHuv24Q4uM/v-deo.html
I have this machine and I’m very happy with the build quality, over all looks and soooo happy it’s made of stainless steel. I don’t think these are made by Grind, from what I found on the internet, they’re made by a Scandinavian company and Grind as well as other companies like Dualit just add their logo on the front. Not complaining though - love it, or should I say ‘love them’ as I also bought the milk frother at the same time - froths up like a dream! I used to have a Gaggia which was around £650 and to be honest, it wasn’t a patch on the Grind machine!! The only down side for me, is the lack of coffee blends available. When I bought mine there were only about 4 blends available, but they’ve since brought out more choice, which I’ll have to try. 😊
I am very curious if there is a way to get the cerco caffè machine on the channel, also an pod machine but with their own design language. Pricie as well
Hi Ellie, I am referring to the look and quality of the design of this machine, It looks expensive, great quality and has great attention to detail. Its made to look like a little espresso machine. Its something new that doesn't look like one of the more well known pod machines. Cheers Kev
When in London I always visit Grind, the one on Beak Street next to Carnaby Street, and the big one at London Bridge, their espressos are probably the best I’ve had, Monmouth coffee at Borough Market is also exceptional ..
I'm so tired of Nespresso plastic machines!! I just got my GRIND today, I'm in the USA and it arrived with the proper voltage and grounded power cord. OMG I freeking LOVE IT! I have 5 espresso machines in my kitchen, sending the Nespresso Creatista Plus back to Amazon. The GRIND goes with my other prosumer machines and makes fantastic Nespresso coffee when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to fire up the E61 beast.
@Satine_Moisant. Hi! I was wondering how long is the warranty for? “A” shows 2 year guarantee and Grind’s website says 1 year warranty. Thanks so much!
right so your talking bad about nespresso wen its always and still will be the best machine it makes a variety of coffee not just expresso!!!!and this grind machine is sooo expensive!!!

Can anyone who owns this machine tell me if theirs evacuates water into the pod bin during cleaning. Like, a fair bit of water?
@coffeekev?
Hi Angela,
I would get hold of Grind, There might be a fault and your machine , hopefully your machine will still be under warranty.
Cheers
Kev
@@Coffee_Kev yeeeeah, I tried that. They say it's normal. What a shame, I wanted to love this machine.
