Hello, that is a very nice watch 👌 But the movement is not a Seagull, it is a Tongji 😉 This movement is inspired by the Swiss Enicar 1010 movement and Japanese Seikosha Seiko 850 (76xx), also known as the "Chinese standard movement". It is a hand-wound watch movement which has been manufactured in various forms in numerous factories since 1972 👍 And the K1 mineral (KM) crystal is a bit better than a standard mineral crystal, it's a hardened / heat-treated mineral crystal. I have the Merkur Skin Diver and I love it ! 🥰

@@watchmewithwatches it's quite a nice looking movement too if you open it up. My salmon sector dial had some fluff on the dial so opened it up to remove it.

IMO if you enjoy affordable mechanical watches Merkur is the go to Chinese brand I own a half dozen of them and enjoy wearing them all they have one hell of a selection to suit just about any taste Thanks for sharing another killer review my friend Be well and keep em coming 👍

I read a comment that said luxury used to mean quality, but now it just means expensive. Merkur group puts out some of the best designs out there IMO. And the quality is excellent for the money. I would be willing to pay a little more for better specs though. And I’ve heard the customer service isn’t always great. Thanks for the great review as always.

I knew this one as Pierre Paulin sector dial watch (affiliate brand of Merkur). The difference here is the red 12 at the top, hands style and absence of center cross/sector (like more that one in fact) . As you said, elegant watch, a dressy piece to add in any collection, just for the dial colour and the whole esthetics.
