That always stinks (literally) when you have freshly bought groceries and something is Spoiled. Being in Alaska, we always try to buy fresh and local ( butcher, etc). We have 3 bears grocery stores here and they carry many "Costco" items. They are a little bit more expensive, but it's worth it to get wild caught, grass fed, etc. esp since the US has now approved the usage of "Lab Grown Meats".. umm, NO! I cannot believe they've "gone there". Smith's is pretty decent from what I remember from AZ. It was a few yrs back. If you're stationary for a while, BUTCHER BLOCK is very affordable and wow, VERY farm fresh, highest quality grass fed, ask that GOOD stuff. They have discounts a lot too. I hope this helps y'all, Bethune LaFamilia! I live the new Channel pic btw! 🙌🩷 Stay blessed and safe travels.
We absolutely LOVE Winter, obviously. Lol there's so much fun to be had in the snow, just be sure to buy the correct clothing "Layers" too My family mostly found snowboarding to be much easier to learn and most of us prefer that, but a few do like to ski. There's a technique to it, but once you get it, it's also fun! Try both. Have fun with ALL the seasons and you'll never be bored where you live , or Land St temporary.👍 Happy Blessed Birthday to Jenn!! 🎉🎊🎈🎂❤
Most towns fight to keep the W store out, but our town has two of them, both about 5 minutes away. So naturally, the two grocery stores in town closed up when the W stores came in. I'm not really a fan of the place, but that's where we get our meat, unless I drive to the next town for the Acme supermarket. W store meat seems pretty good around here, probably because of the high turnover. Safe travels Bethune's! -Burt in NJ
I think a lot of us viewers mistake Las Vegas, NM for being the one in NV. I had to look it up because I kept thinking that you had to drive pretty far to get to Nevada. Now I know there is a different Las Vegas in New Mexico 🤔😄
Hey Bethunes!!! Sorry to hear about the food situation. We buy our meat from a local farmer here in Iowa. That won't work for you guys. Look for a local lmeat ocker.
We're full-time since 2020, we consistently buy all our groceries from Walmart without issue. Used to go to local markets for steak occasionally, but far too expensive. I can't remember the last time I had a steak. We are literally priced out.
I believe it's sounded out like seep-ah-poo. Glad you got to try Blakes, they are actually one of the slowest "fast food" places so never really get it if you're in a time crunch. That's at least in the cities, maybe the smaller towns can be quicker. Food is yummy. Ordering from the app makes is quicker. I hope you all get to try Dion's pizza as well.
Bad meat!? Honestly I'm sure that is a horrifying smell. 😨 Even though I don't think I have smelled that smell. Bad storms are very cold to watch. Especially watching a storm moving in. I like a late night thunder storm or anything thunder storm. As long as there are no hail or tornadoes. Or floods. But I like the dark clouds also
I buy our meat from a meat market type local store mainly. My husband would eat walmart meat all the time. lol I do buy frozen hamburger patties from walmart my husband likes & I can make them quickly in air fryer. They come stacked frozen with parchment between each pattie. My grandson likes them also. ❤ Most any store will or should refund you for bad food !
Wow! Sorry about the bad meat from Vegas new Mexico. Ya I myself don’t like the smaller Walmart grocery. We have a super center here in Henderson Nv where I live and it’s great. We also have Vons and Albertsons here and Smiths. I like Smiths they treat you good. Albertsons s is good too but a little higher than Smiths. I get my gas at Smiths. You can also use the Smiths card at Kroger. Kroger owns Smiths. If you see a Kroger grocery. We also opened up a Smiths store that had a food court and clothes. It’s pretty cool. Our gas went up to $4.09. I paid that at smiths and used my card. Pretty cool Kyle and Jenn! Great video! As always. Love you guys! Stay warm. With it being raining and cold. Jen I love your skirts! Love you all! ❤❤🤗🤗🥰🥰
Hi Kyle I sincerely want to know how has Depression been for you lately? I have Complex PTSD, IT IS SO HARD. I TOO HAVE TREATMENT RESISTANT DEPRESSION. I HAD TO FINALLY GIVE UP YEARS OF MY NOMADIC LIFE😢😥. OK GUYS I STILL AM COMPLETELY CONFUSED as to what is going on with your final bus. Is the bus you pointed out today blue Betty?: WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOUR FINAL BUS AND WHAT DO YOU GUYS INTEND TO DO WITH THAT GORGEOUS PIECE OF LAND YOU OWN? I WATCH EVERY VIDEO YOU GUYS MAKE AND I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND; PLEASE HELP CATCH ME UP ❤❤❤❤️🩹
Thanks!! I have done everything I can think of. Unfortunately microdosing does not work for me.. I literally am not kidding when I say I have done every modality of therapy and diets and this and that. for so many years I'm completely sick of it now is the time where I'm just letting it be there, eating what I want and not putting that kind of stress on me. Thank you again.
HI! I am so glad you are here with us. Kyle has been doing well with the depression, each day is different and we give each other grace for that. I am sorry you had to give up nomadic life, I wish you the very best on your healing journey! Don't give up- You are Strong, Beautiful and YOU MATTER! We have a new bus that is being renovated currently, we will hopefully be in and transitioned by Fall. We love Blue Betty, and she was been with us from the start, she will stay with us, but the plan will be she will be on the property that we purchased in NM.
@@Beingbethunes Hi Jenn, Thank You for your reply. I know how much of a drain it can be on you to answer these comments. I wrote this comment before you shared with me how it can be so taxing to have to answer the comments. So I feel bad because this was a long comment and I know now not to leave long comments because I don't want you to feel any kind of drain or loss of balance and harmony inside yourself. Your peace is the most important thing. Thank you for explaining to me about the other bus now I'm not feeling as stupid because I didn't know that yes indeed I was correct in seeing another bus. The other day in the video when I saw Blue Betty it was your memory video that was really cool by the way, how big blue Betty actually is I mean she looks enormously long with tons of solar. Thank you for the encouragement I really appreciate that you are so encouraging. I will say getting older and being very ill is not for sissies. So thank you for telling me I'm strong and that I can do this and not to give up. I'm always excited when I see you guys have uploaded I am really appreciate you guys making the content that you do it's always relaxing. The one thing I know for sure is what foodies you guys actually are. I love how excited Kyle and you get about food. The land you have is beautiful and I don't know how many acres it is but it looks quite big enough for your family and I don't know what you're doing with the land ultimately like will other people be paying to stay on it things like that. Have a great weekend or have the best weekend you can. And thank you for sharing about Kyle because I do care about you guys very much and I know he went through a very bad spell. Take care of yourself Jen and you don't have to spread yourself then. So thank you for replying to me.
My dad was a meat cutter (butcher) before he retired and now I'm a vegetarian:))

Thank you so much for the tips, we learn as we go.
Thanks! We love our direction that we chose.
I shop at Albertsons, Trader Joes, or Sprouts. Another idea is maybe your refrigerator needs to be set colder.

You’re welcome for the tips.
Local butcher for meat
Find a butcher shop.
