- 4ocean partnered with the team from NOAA'S Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and the Florida State Park System to clean a mangrove island offshore of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. This particular location was scouted out prior to our arrival by John Pennekamp Park Biological Scientist, Trudy Ferraro, who came across an overwhelming amount of marine debris that had washed ashore during Hurricane Irma.

Buy the gloves and bag clean up kit, go forth and be the change.
Clean up any beach, park etc as often as you can.
I am very proud to have been able to buy many bracelets and clean up kits to gift and educate with. I have also subscribed to the monthly bracelets. There will be many going in Christmas stockings, end of school year gifts as well as birthday gifts. Thank you 4Ocean for this wonderful way to remember to be more mindful of our own power to vote with every dollar we spend on post consumer items. Every single one of us can make a difference, especially when we work together.

It’s not you're company itself thats inspiring, it’s your effort, willpower and determination, that one day, the ocean will be freed from all plastic. Great job and I like the last phrase: clean ups are fantastic but they aren’t the solution, they just mitigate the problem. We know the solution is to stop producing and abusing the use of Plastic.

This just breaks my heart... how the lack of education and awareness of what plastic does to the environment has lead to us poising our world for so long... the pain in their voices and the whole video... I'm ashamed. And also proud of the people cleaning. Will contribute again as much as I can!

Baltimore Maryland needs clean ups along with the Chesapeake bay
We're working hard to host more community cleanup events all around the world. In the meantime, you can make a big difference by organizing a cleanup in your community. Even if it's just you and a few friends, every little bit makes a change.
Good ending with the line of workers taking buckets to the truck. An easy web of workers spreading out more and more with buckets could easily clean up a lot, and fast. It's just continuing to handle what you find as 4Ocean been, and transportation especially.
This makes me so happy, that people remove trash, around the World biggest oceans, islands and lakes.

So said to see all the plastic rubbish in the mangroves.
