His clumsiness sound is so well constructed
he clearly is clumsy and super nervous, but his material is really good, so I didn't care it was even a bit endearing.
@@tinyuaz3653 He is NOT clumsy and nervous...that is just his way to perform..he does that same when he's performing in finnish..he just makes it look like that, but it's not about nervousness..
Or is it ? ..........................
Ralf Häggström Vsauce be like
@@tinyuaz3653 he isn't. that is his style and if you think that way, he's doing it pretty well
"I did this for you!" The innocence in his voice. Im in tears. Rofl.
I know 😂😅😂 I never realized how stupid that statement is to eat everything because there are starving children in Africa 😂😂 so you gain weight and they keep starving 😂😂 he reminds me so much of Mitch Hedberg 😢😂
I would agree with that. @@lisanelke9726
'Normally I speak Finnish, It's very common in Finland'...lol
Normally i speak swedish but that's not as common in Finland
@@nitrofrat i used to think that they speak Brazilisn in Brazil, Australian in Australia etc as a finnish kid
@@ozzylepunknown551that’s sounds like a dumb American comment.
There are silent letters. Have you heared of them? No. Because they are silent.
From Africa, we thank you. You are killing us with laughter
my condolences
this water has circulated the earth for 4 billion years. but now it's ruined
And moreover even if he said it in a funny way, it's meaning is far deeper.
While the joke was funny, the expiry date is for the bottle's usage. Not the contents of it. And once the bottle is 'bad' it will start to affect the water. It's more an indicator of water quality, than usage.
@@eldiablo1467 Everybody knows that, lol. Why do you have to say that? To sound smart? It is called humor to come up with funny jokes by explaining a basic thing in a different, funny meaning. You can combine different words in language to make them sound funny by changing their meaning or just use an expiration date to mean that water as people normally think the content (e.g. milk) is not ok anymore. It requires sense of humor to get that.
@@eldiablo1467 Sooo, bottles made out of plastic, the thing we're always told to recycle because it takes thousands if not millions of years to degrade when thrown away, somehow degrades in a couple months when in your freezer?
@@swapnil3990 yes you got it.no wonder there are people who do not find it that funny.especially in u.s there are millions of people who don t like it.
When I used think about Finland, I used to think badass racing drivers. But now I think about comedy too :).
Just like me!
How about That Finland is the Most enviromentally Friendly Country in the World, How about That Finlands Coffee Consumption is over 12 KG of Raw coffee per Capita YEACH YEAR, How about that finland has the least corrupt government in the world, How about That finland has the most heavy metal bands, How about that finland has the best education system, Ok ill admit, Im finnish but even i had to google some of this shit LOL
+Olli J I know "vittu" means fuck. but since "haista" wasn't there, I can't tell if that was an insult or not.
I no speakuu Suomeksa, Señor.
cumulo25
actually "fuck" mean "naida"
but is also "vittu"
Ismo did rally driving when young so he fits that stereotype.
“My mother? Where do you know her from?” 😂😂😂😂😂 best response ever to a “yo mama” joke. He’s so great. More people should praise him for his knowledge of the English language and how he has used his smarts and brilliance to study it and make comedy from it.
I was wondering if anyone caught that.
The funny thing about the mother joke is that it's absolutely true X)
Its kind of the same joke Johan Glans did in 2008 :)
@@ledrash6079 it's just a real thing that has been laughed at in finland for a long time and if someone actually does it, the responses are a lot like that. Say usually when a random drunk guy comes to insult you, with whatever topic, it's common to go with it for not to give any satisfaction to the person who said it by showing that they would have possibly gotten to you. Say someone would call you ugly and you would say: "Oh really thanks, I haven't noticed it in all of my years on earth, you must be really smart with that keen eye of yours". That type of thing.
@Laynie Wolfe Well, you did it, so thanks.
"this water has circulated the earth for 4 billion years" surprisingly accurate statement, even scientifically.
He has a PHD in physics.
@@Zwopper Not a PHD but he did study physics at a university.
@@Vanhapjuuma Oh, my bad!
Yes, great joke. Though obviously it's the leaching plastic container that is the problem. Especially if it gets transported in trucks exposed to a lot of heat. Amazing people think they are getting clean water just because it comes in a package.
I live the way he "pretends" to be so out of his depth, floundering around in his second language, yet it so spot on in his observations. Truly HILARIOUS, but oh so clever humour!
"I owe you $75 dollars, but the 7 is silent"
It's so simple yet hilarious. Ismo might be my favorite clean comic.
I thought he was gonna recall to that regarding to the bank debt.
I was mistaken.
@@ledrash6079that's what I was thinking as well. "we 3 billion dollars in debt, but the billion is silent so we good"
I mean, his bits on the words "ass" and "shit" are pretty hilarious.
Clean? He may not curse every “bit” but he has said plenty that I wouldn’t consider him a clean comic. There are comics that don’t curse at all. None. But don’t be confused…he’s frickin’ hilarious either way.
@@briancordova4137Please name one that doesn't curse. I'm really interested in listening to a comedian that uses only clean words for making people laugh.
I watched Ismo live, you literally won't stop laughing cos there's a punchline in every sentence. He is the best.
And where there is no punchline per say, his delivery is so good it is still funny. For example, the "letters that you write down but never say" is almost a dictionary description, yet people laugh because of the delivery: 4:05
Damnnnn This guy is hilarious!
+jehuty2seven i know, i have seen him live :D More than hilarious :D
Jehuty Gaming i have san?
seen. good now, hyväköh? :)
I have had seened
"why kill the happy fellow?" ...hilarious. I promise you, it is even more funny when you live in the country just beside Finland. This is soooo spot on the Finnish mentality. I love it, I could actually see myself living there.
You're welcome here buddy :)

Ismo is a Finnish national treasure! One of the funniest comedians!
You should lock him up. That's how you safeguard your treasure 😂
I am now addicted to this guy. He is BRILLIANT in his unique way.
Great “clean” comedy. A sign of true intellect and good humor.
for 4 billion years AAHAAHAAHAHA his material is so great omg cheers from malaysia !!
It is difficult to be funny speaking your mother tongue. Ismo was funny speaking a foreign language. Pretty well done.
So true.. cuz when he lived in Finland his jokes wasnt funny to me but now I enjoy them 😂
Too bad it's the exact opposite for me. His jokes are less funnier in English, altough they're still funny. My favourite joke of his is the one about christianity d:
I do have to say that for me his jokes hit better in english than in finnish. There is a bit more awkwardness in his character and that fits him very nicely :)
@@Modern-Witch the finnish one with "paloittelusurmat" was a masterpiece!
Then check out Ari Matti Mustonen
This guy seems like he’d be nervous to go to a party full of people he doesn’t know, but then he’d end up being the life of the party.
This is what happened to me in college 😅
I was the quiet one who often refused from parties till once I was "forcefully" carried in a party and we ended up having amazing time.
the mother joke killed me :D
The vegetarian and banker jokes killed me! Lol! My new fave comedian.
R.i.p
So relatable😂
Funniest thing is that Finnish are actually like that :D
Warning,
Catching a glimpse of Ismo, will result in binge watching everything with ismo in it!
My week is not complete without listening to Ismo’s comedy. I watch same jokes several times and still makes me laugh. Hello from the Philippines!
He's one funny-ass comedian 🙂
This guy is epic...
A lot of Finns don't seem to like him. I'm not Finnish but I live in Finland ... I think he's fucking hilarious. I don't generally laugh out loud when I'm alone, but this guy can make that happen.
David Andrews I am Finn, and i love Ismo!
I'm a Scot living in Finland ... he's funny in my language; but I'd have a hard time being funny in his!
Helvetin hyvä komikko, though!
He is so funny because he points out the obvious. Why do we have silent letters. Ha
Did you all see the word (slang) ASS?!! That’s so funny .
He gets the idiocy crap the little things.
@@DavidAndrewsPEC Well... Many Finns think about well constructed humor about "obvious things" turned to comedy being mr. smarty pants... It's a shame. Because it isn't the easiest comedy to write. It's actually the hardest one.
love the way he has one hand on his belly like a bavarian with suspenders, but he is wearing none
Withholding gas perhaps? 😅

We Americans LOVE comedians with foreign accents - and we LOVE when they make fun of our language!!
BRAVO!!
Its not your language, its English which originates from England and adopted by America when we owned you
@@sedii91 silly. American English is our language. And "you" never "owned" us! You tried to rule over us, but we kicked your butts back across the sea!!! LOL.
@@carolinej3661 what in the actual fuck are you talking about? "you" are "us" unless you have 100% native american blood in your veins, you do realize that right?
Also I never said we ruled you, we owned you until your independence and you are european descendent as there are no such thing as american descendent people.
only real "american" descendent people are the native american tribes.
Also a little side note for you to think about: you speak english, you know where the word english comes from? That's right, from the England that is in Europe.
@sedii91 & @Caroline J Bruhh you are both wrong 😂 Americans didn’t come out of nowhere. Most of Americans are descendent of Europeans and especially British people

Absolutely hilarious.

Why don't you try "shit"?
Same!
Yep me too
The shit one is good too!
Ismo should be an English teacher. He knows more about it than teachers!! My favorite comedian
Finally, another original comic. So few.....
That pilates joke was so innocent and perfect.
This man is hilarious. I like the way he talks about cultural differences of Finland and America 🤣👌
I am a Finnish-American guy age 82, and my last Finnish was from 1902. I used my 1902 Finnish, my penpal said my Finnish was quaint.
This guy is hilarious. I haven't seen a bit from him yet that didn't make me cackle. Well done, Ismo. He possesses genuine comedic genius.
The best before date joke was low key a great piece of commentary about the dangers of plastics
This Ismo dude is hillarious
Ismo. What a simple and vary solid comedy. Just love the simplicity in the cultural differences

Kudos to the MC for pronouncing a Finnish name perfectly.
He is breaking all the barriers of languages. And the myth about Finnish people being the most introverts.
His comments about bottled water. Brilliant. 👏

The expiration date is for the plastic not the water. It's when the plastic starts to break down and particles of plastic can be consumed after that point.
I love ISMO he's one hilarious man! 🤣☠️
Well it is ruined because of the plastics so he is not wrong.
If it's shipped in the summer and the truck gets real hot, the breakdown happens before it even gets on the shelf in the store. Bottled water is useful for emergency situations and such (floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc.). But a good filter or distiller, depending on if you have municipal water or well water, is a much safer option.
Yeah its for the plastic but its funny to think that how lucky we are when we just found the water that was about to go bad on last moment
He's like the Finnish Mitch Hedberg. So literal and hilarious he talks about the most obvious things we forget to think about like "A dog is forever in the pushup position". ISMO same way awkward, seems nervous, delivery is different but works.
With the looks of Chris Farley.
That dog joke is genius.
