    I'm working on a set for my son-in-law. They're looking pretty good. Just need to put the finish on. Thanks so much for your instructions!

    Thanks for sharing the instructions and templates. Planning a surprise party for my partner and creating a bunch of yard games to play. We will also be able to use the dice for another dice game we like to play as a group. We call it 2100 dice but I’m sure it’s known by other names too. I can create a second score card to put on the reverse side of this one & laminate them together. Provide erasable markers. Also painting wine bottles and creating a ring toss game. Just need to make a crate for them to sit in. Found the rings on Amazon. We also have a horseshoe pit, bean bag toss & washer toss. Going for a carnival theme. Appreciate you sharing your skills! Keep posting! New sub now! 😎

    Couldn't find any new4 x 4 cedar posts at the home centers. Found some scraps from an old garden projects. They were beat up and had some 'rot' that looked more like voids in plywood. Did some milling to get rid of the blemishes. Worked great but the end result was a cube less than 3 an 1/2 inches. No worries, reduce the size of the template on your printer to match your new cube size. My cubes where about 3-1/8 and that was a template printed at 95% the size.

      Jose Silveira A 5gal bucket would work or maybe a 2.5gal bucket.

      Yeah I tried a 5 gallon bucket but it was huge. 2.5 would work well. I just grabbed a basket I had.

    Thanks!!! I’ve wanted to make some of these, but I wasn’t sure what game to play with them. So Yardzee (Yahtzee) is the game played?!? Great to know. Much appreciated.
    A 5gal or smaller bucket could work as the cup.

      Yes, Yardzee is exactly like Yahtzee but with giant dice you can play outside! Fun in the summer to play with friends and family, or on vacation at the beach.

    I’m looking to buy one or two sanding machines. The Ridgid oscillating belt sander you used for this project, is it also the one that converts to various sized spindle sanders? How do you like it overall? I think that I also want a disc sander, but maybe that’s not necessary, if I have an oscillating belt sander. What’s your advice. Thanks a bunch. 😊

    • @DIYMontreal
      @DIYMontreal  6 років тому +2

      Yes, my sander is the one that converts to the spindle sanders, although I have yet to used them! I was originally looking to buy a disc sander, but I liked the idea of the belt better. I like the large platform of the belt sander vs. some dinky platforms I've seen on disc sanders. Plus the spindle sanders give some versatility. I don't think I will need a disc sander now that I have this one. Just my 2 cents!
