Dreo, think your product can circulate South Florida air in the summer? We are 100% humidity and over 100 degrees every day. It’s hard to work on my car in the garage. I’ve gone through so many fans, none do the job.
Hey Gingium!!! I've been watching your stuff sense the start of the rally miata and I love it!!!! do you have any advise for people starting out in car culture? I ride mtb but I've been thinking of building a 68 bug or a manx with my father, any tips for this type of content?
Suede was definitely the right choice, looks much better than the fake carbon fiber. Radio conversion looks pretty good but if you hate it, you could probably cover it in suede, too. I think it still looks good on camera, at least. Whole car is coming together quite nicely, can't wait to see it with better wheel fitment and to see what wheels you're going with
I've wanted to do something similar to my shitbox ever since I got it, but ever since I got my shitbox I've been nothing but broke....so this is just amazing to watch
Hey gingium, since you still didn’t touch the headers there’s a guy on yt who figured out the science behind the classical F1 high pitch sound, long story short it’s all about stepped headers with sequential firing that go n pipes into 1, having an NA V6 it could be a great opportunity to try and put that theory into practice, also stepped headers give some performance gains on NA engines and that’s why they were done, nobody on yt except for that channel tried it yet since the video is from a week ago, and if what he says is right this car is going to sound MENTHAL. The video is called “How F1 sound is made”
Unfortunately these engines have the exhaust ports combined into one IN the head. The exhaust only comes out the head through one port. So I couldn’t do any fun fabrication with the headers :/
I prefer the Shifter knob from the 04-09 S2000. It's got the sweet brushed metal 6 speed pattern in black, but leather wrapped around the diameter. Great weighted shifter, and is an OEM style option.
I have the exact same aftermarket dash kit on my 06 accord and have been driving for MONTHS without front speakers only now to find out I needed the amp on my old one, luckily I still have it and can put that in so THANK YOU 🙏 4:14
@drake5557 RL caliper upgrades just use a mounting bracket that bolts on to your existing knuckle. TL type S brembos require the whole knuckle changed out and outer tie rods from a TL as well.
My 2012 is over ten years old now, but I have somehow never had the door trim fall apart yet lol. Maybe because it's the base tan trim, but I'm still shocked.
Hey Gingium, just wanted to say the suede looks great over the "carbon fibre", definitely the right call. But also just wanted to clarify, im pretty sure you have a Honda Accord with the limited HFP kit. That kit comes from factory with that bodykit, and the "carbon" interior. Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure thats true (same thing for the early 2000s EP3s that had a HFP kit). Love the channel, your Fit series convinced me to also get one, GE8 though👌
You definitely sold me on the Corbeau seats! I didn’t want to lose the heated seats in my brz so I never really shopped around. Good to know a company actually make aftermarket seats that allows me to keep my factory features
there is a plastic clip in between the license plate lights, i popped that out, put a rubber seal over it, and used it to route my rear cam wires through :)
for these accords you can leave the headlights in the on position or parking light position and they will turn off after a few seconds when you lock the car and when you you unlock they turn on like a new car does
This was my first car that I got right out of high school like 10 years ago. Drove it for 7 years. Always loved the interior, but wanted more features like you. In my case, I simply sold it and got a Lexus. Props to you for actually putting in the work for something I never had the patience to do. Looks great.
This is one of the cleanest interiors you've ever done! wow, I really like it! Good job man. please, keep it like this! just refresh the steering, and then it will be perfect.
Just discovered the channel and as a lifelong (since the very early 1990s) car modder I loved the video and really appreciated the technical skills coupled with the attention to detail (like matching the suede between trim and seats). Subscribed - looking forward to watching more of this content :)
They were probably momentary switches with some kind of relay, much more difficult to wire and usually has to be turned on each time you drive. The new switches are good ol' fashioned latching rockers, so you can leave them on all winter.
Looks awesome my grandma still has that same accord with the 4dr, and she has taken so much care of it it’s still in pristine condition 20 years after. For your accord the only thing I’d say it’ll improve it a little bit is giving it some new Wheels and maybe a headlight tint.
You can't hate on this build man. This has got to be one of the most interesting builds ever, not only because its honda but just your knowledge about cars makes it a fun watch !
I got an 03 accord coupe last year, however mine is v4 and automatic. I'm glad your channel was recommended to me, I love seeing more videos on the 7th gen coupe, it seems so rare. Even where I live, almost no one has this car. Instant sub, I'll be tuning in!
I am buying a 08 v6-6 speed SEDAN for my son’s first car. Super rare spec and will absolutely be taking it back after he’s done with it (he really wanted a manual) I already have a boosted 17 V6 Touring but Accords are some of the most underrated cars. It’s a total package kinda thing which makes the driving experience on par with higher end cars imo. Your build is getting me excited for my next one too!
bro gigium, ur making like so goood videos man, hats off! I love watching your videos daily and kudos to working so hard for the authentic content you deliver. love ya and this daily is fire!
The interior looks really good! Honestly i feel that these are the mods and videos i really enjoy, makes it feel more relatable for the average car guy!
That Corbeau suede looks fantastic! Great job! I like how the exhaust opened up a bit of sound but it still has a conservative feel. I have the piping for a 3" install on mine that will be happening eventually. This is some really good motivation, seeing how well this came out! You're killin' it!
I went with Crutchfield when I upgraded the head unit in my '10 Civic. It was pretty much plug-and-play and I got everything installed in just a few hours.
i have an 07 accord sedan and I'm jealous of the coupe because it looks so much sharper and aggressive when modifications and work is done to them. Watching these really do make me want to start modifying my accord and its a big help since i have a general idea of what parts to get now! great videos as always!
The do make a kit that allows you to keep the original radio in there and install a double din in where the door/cubby is below it. Not the best way but you do get to keep the OEM hvac controls plus you're saving hundreds of dollars.
Corbeau is the best. I got a set for my Soarer off of watching your video back in the day when you first put a set in the drift truck. Bracket was *mint*!
Hey! Super excited to see the build series! I have a 06 6mt sedan myself and love the platform. If i may, i highly recommend the tl-s rear sway bar for these cars. It completely eliminates the rear body roll and keeps the car way more planted in the corners even with stock suspension.
Those seats are ridiculous (in a good way) and I really like that you did the suede on the door trim and trim pieces where it counts. I immediately went out to go find one of these Hondas after this videos lol
hey gingium i know atoto sponsored you but I've been using a xtron headunit knock off for 2 years with no issues and IMO it doesn't make the interior look as cheap. The trim finish is almost spot on, has dual zone climate controls and it still retains the factory cubby. It has a much larger screen at 1080p with 4 gb ram. I also have it wired to a sub and have upgraded speakers. In the future if you decide to switch it up I would def recommend getting one and its much cheaper at half the cost.
I do have to agree the interior on these are superb. I owned a 2004 Acura TSX and it was a huge upgrade compared to my previous 2001 civic. Not only that, everytime I’d ask someone to guess what year it was they’d always say something along the 2010s

I think it still looks good on camera, at least. Whole car is coming together quite nicely, can't wait to see it with better wheel fitment and to see what wheels you're going with
I thought the same thing!
I think I would just paint the radio conversion the same color as the other trim pieces I had painted so they match
I thought Suede or a better matching wrap
I thought this too. Depending how much is left he could do all the dash trim and tie it together
I would worry that the adhesive would fail over time during summer heat. The car gets as hot as an oven baking under the sun.
I've wanted to do something similar to my shitbox ever since I got it, but ever since I got my shitbox I've been nothing but broke....so this is just amazing to watch
@eliasmachalek4856 lol my shitbox is sitting on jackstand as we speak. Luckily I have another vehicle that's not a shitbox.

1:31 Is that an Acura big brake conversion I see back there?
Wow good eye 😉
He got them RL brakes. Why these over something like the TL type S brembos out of curiosity?
@@drake5557 they are way easier to find used.
They are also a lot easier to install don't need to replace the entire knuckle

dude please wear a respirator when doing sanding or spraypainting. All of these partikles you breath in is going to impact your health in a bad way

You can use a dust extraction system instead for sanding but you need a respirator or an airfed paint mask for painting
Ittttssssss gooooooddddddd who needs lungs anyway
@@laamala99 he did but even then it's still a good idea to use a respirator. Also it's mostly for overspray
I think the kick panels on the side of the “trans tunnel” would look great in the suede too
19:15 That's funny because that's the same reason why S197s end up with saggy vinyl on the door panels, the backing splits from the vinyl
My 2012 is over ten years old now, but I have somehow never had the door trim fall apart yet lol. Maybe because it's the base tan trim, but I'm still shocked.
Should’ve installed a layer of heat insulating jute padding on the roof before putting back in the headliner . Makes a huge difference in the summer
