How do you guys managed to run in through OpenXr ? It worked for me in previous versions but not in 1.6 . It forces Oculus Mode all the time . I managed somehow to run it in SteamVR but opencomposite tools do not show up to set FFR or force resolution etc
@@PeppeULY Thanks! Will give VD a try than . I managed to find a decent sweetspot with link cable 72hz without SW but rain and night still is a struggle. I somehow do not find SpaceWarp any good, eyes are to picky on them frames. But than again I am on RTX 4070 and I am pushing it to the limits. Thanks anyway
@@ChristianOnChain using link, to be able to get a maximum performance, I suggest: , 72hz at max resolution from quest panel, from debug: NO ASW, 600mb encode bitrate, 4032 encode res,fov tangent 0.9,0.8 and you will see improvements, MANY.
Have you tried Meta link cable and run VR in Oculus mode (not steam) and it’s definitely got the edge over VD for me. I find I can even push to 120hz if no rain and daylight but 90hz most settings high it’s a peach ! But for MSFS2020/24 it’s VD all the way. Nice vid 😊👍
finally: Rfactor 3!

Virtual Desktop. On VD you go straight for the XR; If you use a link connection my advice is to stay on Oculus software as it works perfectly.

@@PeppeULY Thanks a Lot! Will give this a shot 🤩

I think so, the problem is to record the footage without OpenXR; the mirroring is stealing resources!
