I doubt you got that HD quality inside your Q3 VR using a 3080/12GB. What we see here is not the VR mirror but the MSFS screen @1440p from OBS or somethin. Now the Q3 is 2064x2208, which is like rendering a scene on a screen @4128x4416, and you got this using ultra setting with a 3080 ? Actually, it sounds weird to me.
@@valerys.219 lol, why should I do that? Please check my other video and study the Virtual Desktop resolutions… your numbers are not correct. The record come from ndi plugin recorded from my Mac connected to my OBS with openxr mirror plugin.
@@Humanaut. If someone drive slowly a sport car, the problem is not the sport car. Why don't you try by yourself to follow the guide instead of this? And btw if you read, I am not going at 72fps but HALF!
From my own experiences, it's hard to get a clean picture on fs2020 on a q3 from a 4070 laptop (everything blurred aliased whatever AA algo you choose). But I hope you got such a pic. as we watched here, it means nice improvement onthe 2024 release. To be accurate, DCS is perfect with my setup, MSFS2020 was a mess. No offense, just questioning.
Do you notice any FPS difference when your not recording? Why you don't record your video with the quest3 instead of OBS? Leaving more system resources for MSFS2024.. Still it runs pretty good in VR I will probably get it once i upgrade my cpu/mboard/ram since that's what my bottleneck and 3090 is just waiting for my cpu..
Just a small difference because I record from another computer connected in NDI. The internal recording of Quest3 is not great when you use VD and it start some stutters... I will do another video with a detailed guide, the upgrade of a Videocard before the series 5xxx from a 3080 and above is a good way to waste money.
@@thanos656 change the dlss to the latest version, INSTALL A VANILLA VERSION Debloated of your video card drivers (ua-cam.com/video/YNGXHgehkeA/v-deo.html) and try again, I improved from 20 to 40 just doing that.
I am writing to request that you consider adding camera stabilisation to your production process. I believe this would significantly enhance the quality of your videos.
Looks pretty good

Has to be doctored.
I saw performance testing and guy was struggling to get 60fps with a 4090 on ultra.

could you do a tutorial on setting up virtual desktop? do you use openxr? I get abysmal performance on a 3090 and 5800x3d in vr
I'll do something like a tutorial on my next video.
Mmmmm glad I watched as your pc specs may be affordable here. Thanks. Laurie. NZ. 😅😮🎉
My pleasure!
@LWJCarroll I get very similar performance in vr with my 3060, so definitely doable on a budget
Intresting ! What is yoyr rendering resolution (the one given by msfs in the graphic option), thanks !
in VR is just DLSS AUTO.
@@PeppeULY I mean the numbers in pixels like 3500x3500

What is vd set to God like, ultra, high, or potato
@@PeppeULY Sorry, I tought it was visible in graphic setting, my bad
What is OBS NDI using OpenXR Mirroring?
streaming the content on another laptop to record outside the system , avoiding too intensive use of the videocard.
TAA?
Check the descriptions, DLSS auto.
Liking it? I have a 3950x and a motherboard but no gpu yet. Looks like it might be comparable to your setup if I get the right gpu.

How many fps you get?
fixed half framerate to get the ssw from Virtual Desktop...36fps.
