Dragonlance elves have always been my favorite. They are isolationist jerks, so a group breaks off to join more with other people's ...they they become isolationist jerks over time. Then they back together after both being wrecked and finally start rising back up in a new Homeland. Elven Exiles was probably my favorite of those final trilogies that came out. And with all that said. Porthios became easily one of my favorite more B-list characters in that series. I love his character arc from vain shallow prince to scarred rebel leader. From one of the most insufferable characters, to one of my favorites.
I felt like it was a bit heavy handed to oust both nations of Elves again. I like Alhana Starbreeze, since she is about the only character left from the original chronicles so I guess I would be team Silvanesti....
I would definitely save the Silvanesti. Even though they are stubborn and not fond of the other races their Isolationism makes it more likely they would survive.
I prefer the Qualinesti. I think what happened to both Qualinesti and the Silvanesti is awful. Destroying both elven nation's was a bit much. One or the other and have them both come together and need each other to salvage one of their realms. The elves of Ansalon are certainly a dying race. Low birth rate and the War of the Lance, Chaos war, 5th age problems and then post war of souls issues. I don't see how they can bounce back.
Thank you for watching today's Dragonlance Setting episode. What do you think about the Qualinesti elves? Leave a comment below.
The Minotaurs are doing wonderful work
haha

I'm a big fan of the Elven Exiled trilogy as well.
I've been catching up since I'm new here... haven't left a comment on every video I watched but did leave an Upthumb.

I agree with the excessiveness. I would like to see them regain both of their homelands.
