Have friends in San Juan near Alicante which is a beautiful part of the Costa Blanca , I thought I’d have a drive to Benidorm and honestly I couldn’t wait to leave the place and never thought my car could accelerate so fast! . The place is the ass end of hell with a variety of football top wearing dickheads , overweight loud drunk morons causing most Spanish locals to just laugh and take pity on the Brits that visit this place all year round. Go to Spain learn the language and go and explore the country and stay away from Benidorm , if you want to get pissed and be an embarrassment just do it at home and save face abroad!!! Good video though , well done .
But this is only a small part of beni. And learn spanish? In benidorm you will hear every languages of spain. Basque, galician, catalan and castillian.

'The old town is a completely different side of Benidorm' .. it's full of fantastic gay bars, traditional spanish bars, cafes, restaraunts , no hen or stag parties. In other words it's a huge part of Benidorm.

Loved you on Benidorm mate. Those ATMs are the devil, I've lived between Cyprus and the UK a lot of my life and they randomly started popping up during Summer 2019 in Cyprus too, they are terrible do NOT use them they are a rip off. You can usually find local banks that will let you take cash out for free even with a UK or International bank account
I didn't know about the indoor market, but all those bars and that area I prefer to avoid. My favourite parts of a Benidorm holiday didn't get a mention. Benidorm Island, boat trips, the old town, Albir and Altea, which are beautiful, Benidorm Palace, the beaches, Aqualandia, Terra Mitica. Benidorm has a reputation of being tacky, but there's a lot of places to go and things to see which are definitely not tacky. Just avoid that area in the video, unless you're after pubs and loud music 😃
I love all the areas you mentioned but cabaret and karaoke bars are my kryptonite and why I goes to Benidorm twice a year rather than exploring anywhere else. (Usually stay in the new town in Spring because after winter I just need a pool and few drinks and old town in Autumn as it's my wedding anniversary and we recreate our honeymoon when we went to Benidorm) xx

Beware of the Red Lion club - bouncers get extremely violent, especially with male groups (although it didn't stop them hitting my female friend), seems like they like to fight. They brought out crow bars, whips and hit one boy so much who actually went over to tell his friend to leave it and walk away that he passed out. Not a nice place to be, and from the reviews this isn't the first time it's happened as it is quite a frequent thing.

I've been to Benidorm a couple of times and love the place like you say you never know what you are going to see that but I found this video very interesting and some really good advice from somebody who lives in Benidorm. I hope this video helps people who want to go to Benidorm for a holiday I did a few videos myself when I was there and people seem to find them very handy
Great video. Back again in November and then again in March. Its a resort of so many variables parts of the old town are very traditional and show the towns fishing post roots. New town still has plenty of variety and some of the best 'free' (ok you'll pay a bit for a drink) entertainment. The prom and beach are in my opinion unrivalled.
There’s lots of places to change money for the best rate but the indoor market is an easy place to navigate to. Don’t change your money in hotels, they always give a terrible rate.
Do the streets especially new town ever get cleaned/jetwashed much nowadays as I was over there beginning of June noticed myself a lot of litter in parts. Hope it gets spruced up when I go back in May next year for 11 nights.

A rough guide gone modern by somebody who knows there way around. All you need to do now is start a little company giving reviews for hotels, restaurants etc. Eventually, you be on the local council promoting Benidorm officially. Good luck for the future anyway.
Bloody hell was that the Riudor hotel one the left like 5:15... I was there in 1988 on a lads holiday....which turned out to be my last ever holiday to Benidorm. I remember there was a night time security guard who wore them pilot sunglasses at night and suddenly appear from the dark if anyone was near the pool late at night...very creepy. And that Talk Of The Coast... Did it used to be called Talk Of The Town back in the late 1980s?.... I also remember Sticky Vicky and Top Of The Pops bar....the water park....and Elvis with his "88" comeback special at the Benidorm Palace....fun memories.

you should make a Benidorm video on street peddlers that give you a scratch card free of charge then they scratch the card for you and tell you that you've won a major prize and then they take you to their office down a side street, where the door is locked and they ask you for money and bank details and passport and they also ask you what hotel your staying in and ask you for your name and room number and they also ask for your home address and phone numbers, as they claim you won an all expenses paid holiday, as we had that tried on us back in 2007 and had this done to us and taken back to their office against our will as we was on our way up to Mundomar, and we ended up not going as it took us ages to get away, we even tried getting away from them by walking through a shop and they were at the other entrance before you got there, and since then weve not been back to Benidorm, so it would be great for you to do a video on these type of people also so that the English people will be aware of them, and they can be found on the road going up to Mundomar, and on the main roads
I live in BD, people don’t holiday there, they visit. This is all the levente end, lively but poinente is the old town which is the old spanish with all BD old character. Reference to pal Paul Biker comment below , I would rather slit my wrists than be a biker with a bald head and pony tail.....

I’ve used Revolut for over a year now. Unfortunately not many places in Benidorm take card payments, and also the ATMs charge a fee to withdraw. Benidorm has a lot of catching up to do.
Oh dreamy. For the last 10 years I have been going to Benidorm in average twice a year including for my 30th, my hen, my mums hen, my best friends hen and my honeymoon. I even plan to retire to Benidorm! So it means a lot to me And my God I have missed it during Covid, so finding myself watching all your videos and the TV show and getting butterflies 😂 Fingers crossed everything is back to normal in November when I'm due back for fiesta 😊 xx

Ive lived 10 min outside benidorm for 7 years now and never knew there was a indoor market, okay hahaa.
Just to say, Benidorm tv show has been a favourite of our family since it started & still is. We also have the DVD’s.
