Beta/test servers are severely underrated, they could have all the feedback they want while also generating hype and goodwill, while also stalling people's grind since progress on beta servers usually isn't carried over. More devs would use them if they had brains but they're all afraid of criticism.

Telopots tested the bolt pistol on stream specifically for you Tanner. I don't have the timestamp but he built around exe stance veteran and the bolt pistol only headshot killed a dog IF the shot critted. So yeah it's really bad.

I had low expectations of Fatshark and I'm still disappointed. How did nobody on the dev team test the weapon even once and go "yeah, that feels fucking bad to shoot." Nevermind the fact that the Columnus is still objectively superior, the fact that you can't even aim the fucking thing looks obnoxious.
Plasma is op atm. Bolt hg is still worse than a revolver. Reload animation sucks ass. Shooting it sucks ass. It's worse than shredder pistol and laser pistol feeling wise. The shotgun is actually the star of the update but I still prefer other weps.
Would you ever consider redoing some of your darktide information videos to make them more condensed/organized? :eg putting "darktide basics" into one big video, the psykers talents video, but also putting in the minutae of scryers gaze and disrupt destiny instead of their two seperate videos. The vet tree video but also adding in how to use focus target correctly, etc.
it's really sad. it's foundationally the best game ever made, and all they had to do was put new weapons into it once a while and they cant even do that. The bolt pistol sucking wouldn't even be a problem if it weren't for the fact it's the only new gun in 2 years. the bolt pistol sucking would be completely ok if this was the 11th weapon release of the year. I don't know how anybody could feign hype for this 10 megabyte "mega update". I'm still gonna play the game because there's nothing else to play, but i've tapered my expectations to below zero basically, expecting them to just abandon. and i'll play until that day comes because there are no other games like it.

I know that you're unfortunately not the first content creator who got this kind of treatment from fatshark. The seemingly most important criteria is if you're non-critical or are very good in "tone policing". It's a miracle that telopots didn't got banned yet. Also sidenote, MoopShark is not a great person. 😁

The Bolter Pistol has the same damage as the Bolter Rifle so the both have the same break points. Also it can't 1 shot dreg bruisers to the body and even if you take all damage nodes and 80% damage it doesnt one shot headshot dreg gunners without focus fire or veterans baby sight
You definitely have the best DarkTide content on UA-cam, hands down! It's insulting they wouldn't offer you early access and partner program, and you're probably right about someone at FatShart blacklisting you.

Fatshark has made so many stupid decisions in such a short amount of time, it's not really surprising that they'd also shoot themselves in the foot by not grabbing actually knowledgeable players to test their content. Have you seen the new level Tanner? It's an absolute mess. The floor mesh is so crappy that trauma staff slips through the stairs in the first half of the map and is completely unreliable, and there's so little floor space that special mobs spawn in clipped packs like matrioshka dolls. That's not even accounting for the constant disconnects that everyone has been getting since the new update.
People need to be less douchey about someone being abrasive and irreverent about something they're passionate for - in this case games as a set of interacting systems, if I've been paying attention. When you have people who will spend time learning the systems of the game so they can pass on useful information to those who don't have the knack or the time but do want to get good at a game, you should try and expand that. Fatshark is dropping the ball when they could cultivate a community of genuine weirdos who will write gamefaqs hab dreyko walkthroughs with the cool ASCII art in the headers.
