But, the elves are playable!! The difference is that the elves have their own language, besides, only the ears that can be placed on the character creator.
Dragon's Dogma was the first RPG to make me experience large monsters fighting "realistically". I wasn't surprised that Capcom transferred some combat mechanics from Monster Hunter into a RPG, but it was great seeing large creatures throw their weight around. Similar to Monster Hunter, it was great seeing my character thrown back when a dragon swooped by. Heck, I was glad that undead like liches were actually powerful at some points in the game. I hate weak and unterrifying undead in RPGs. Liches traded their humanity for power so it would make sense for them to be terrifying foes. I'm glad to see this system seemed to be improved for DD2.
Do you know if there will be a weather system in this second game? I saw parts of the trailer where rain appears, but I don't know if it will only be in a specific part.
I don't need to know more. My pre-order has been done for several days and I'm looking forward to the game. I'm just really sick of seeing some streamers trying to spit on the game lately when 90% of people are hyper into gaming. It seems very hard in 2024 to have honest streamers. The 30 fps will be patch quickly. The devs said so. So this phony excuse to shit on the game doesn't hold up anymore!
That's why I never watch streamers or take any insights from them. If you've had experience with titles like DD, and you've been asking and waiting for over a decade, you'll know what you're getting into. A lot of streamers only even consider these games because it's the next big thing to make content off of. I'm excited for this game, and it's the only game this gen that really made me consider finally picking up a PS5 besides Monster Hunter Wilds and GTA VI.
Im excited for the game but i have question that no one seems to answer or mention. How is the in game economy? One thing i find to common in single player games is the economy is broken. Ive always craved a game with an economy where money is actually hard to aquire and purchases feel meaningful/potions you use feel like wasted gold if you misuse them. So how is the economy in dragons dogma 2?
It’s if anything like DD1 , generous enough with money. Remember, you have to upgrade your armor and your pawn. The real costly items were the fast travel port crystal. So probably no money scarcity. Only till release can that be answered
There’s no solid info on the in-game economy yet, but we know a little bit and we can infer a few things. We know from interviews that every method of travel will require money, especially using ferrystones for instant teleportation to preset destinations. You can also hire npcs to create forgeries of important items, which was costly in the first game. Upgrading equipment can also be very expensive. It seems that early on there will be a ton of money sinks, which should keep players from becoming wildly rich quickly. All in all, I expect the economy to be pretty well-balanced and thought out, just off the first game. There were ways to break the first game’s economy, but most of them required prior knowledge and/or intentional exploitation. If I played normally I rarely felt I had way too much money or that money was too easy to acquire. Hope this helps!

New to the game…do the other pawns level with you or do you have to constantly switch out the other 2 pawns as you level to make sure you have level appropriate pawns at all times, with better skills?
In DD1 the other pawns didn't level up with you, so you had to switch them rather frequently, if you wanted everyone at the same level in your party. I'd imagine it's the same in the DD2.

Where do you get 24 fps?
They're saying on consoles they're targeting 30FPS and i've seen some say PS5 is uncapped, but everything says 30, which as the specs in this video highigh they said when there is a lot going on, frames could slow down. High end pcs shouldn't have the same issues, but consoles will.
I only have one frequent demand not questions and it's really not that complicated.Make the game run at 60fps on consoles(both xbox and playstation of course)after all I am paying 75 for it and so I know that there's no excuse for me to accept something less. The fact that Miyazaki himself saif that he aims for 30fps on consoles is insane to me like no,no you should instead aim for 60 because there's no excuse as to why a mid looking game like this is incapable of running at 60(no offense I don't mind the graphics)and for those who say it's ok if the game is good and all that copium start having some self respect and learn how to demand more for what you're paying!
Just want to make a harem of pawns and romance the main chick as well 😈
From what I heard, one of the new possible pawn lines is something like "One of my previous master only employed females. I wonder why." lmao
"Three playable races." Ooff, not a great start to an informative video.
He is correct you can play as african, asian and European ❤, the cat people is not a race but a species
@haruyanto8085 incorrect as there is no Africa, Europe, or Asia in the world of DD.
30 fps trash
Xbox ps5 locked at 30 FPS? They literally said unlocked frame rate. Stop making videos, you’re awful at research.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 PS5 Frame Rate Averages Around 30 FPS. Maybe you need to learn how to google?
Can someone pls explain to me how build work in this game. I’ve seen nothing about it. What make ever archer different from another basically
Builds are a combo of your vocation, your stats, your weapons, amor, and skills, you're able to switch your vocation via different NPCs in town, and your gear etc.
Build variety might come from augments skills and gear this time since you can’t really alter your base stats in this one
@@Moonedothanks for the info i appreciate it.
Well you can't use a bow on any vocation other than archer. So that's a big difference lol
@@DevineDumbass….:… but I wasn’t asking the difference in that so much as another player character over another with the same class……
Can you change difficulty? Like change normal to easy settings for example
Apparently it's custom based on your experience, if you make 30 minute to kill a griffin, the game won't spawn one for a long time as I understand. More you master the systems, more difficult boss etc
