I love how you can tell which players are soulsbourne just by the monstrosities of their arisen and pawns
Soulsborne players also create real beauties, because since DS1 and Demon Souls, they had to use very limited toolset.

I'm sold. I didn't like DD1 because my pawn only got hired if she looked like she came right off the set of Cuties.
But now, I can make a proper, thicc goblin shaman, who still is barely wearing anything, and short, and the healer/mage support everyone wants. But now I don't feel like I need to go island hopping to get RC.
Really bad at character creation. It's one of the reasons why I appreciate people who put up codes and recipes for nice looking characters and make videos detailing how to make nice looking characters. Appreciate the uncanny and monsterous creations too and they're nice in their own way but those aren't for me.
I agree, I've been watching some just to get a nice template of what I want and adjusting from there.

@@symbiotex1751 for me I'm not good at things like proportions and facial features. Eyes, nose etc. I try making a character then wind up not liking how they look then just settle for the best looking default look. But if there's nice creations from other people I'd prefer having those creations as a foundation then making my own adjustments.

I think releasing this before the game was a brilliant idea. Helps with the built up and I think we're getting better made characters. No need rush through the creation to get to the actual game.
I can't wait to be traveling and then see another player's unholy abomination of a pawn just walking past me. Glorg Finklebottom with his ill-proportioned legs and arms and his singular tooth and a face not even a mother could love.

😂😂 right and then you mess around and hire him and then ditch him for the hideously robust Hylda Crabsnatch, with her miscolored eyes, very tiny chin and abnormally large forehead that's almost as wide as her shoulders. Followed by the biggest butt and tiny legs and big feet
Imagine its pitch dark out, you just ran out of oil and need to change but before you can even open your menu, a creature emerges from the shadows but instead of any Mob its just the pawn DimbleTopoms

I made Mario and Peach.
Peach is my arisen Mage (float jump) and Mario is my fighter.
Its funny seeing eerily realistic version of them with the exaggerated proportions.
Need more hair and facial hair options
Guaranteed dlc.
Wish they had a system to blend parts of hair together. Like the bangs of one with the back of another look, then adjust length.
A length adjuster would be nice too.
I want a slick back top with shaved sides like what Arthur Shelby from peaky blinders(I'm watching it for the first time and I really love that haircut lol) , kind of like what we already have with some on the ponytail hairs. I also want something like the fifth hair I think but more slicked back.

One thing people need to consider is depending on the class. A lot of the body will be covered. Scars, tattoos, dirt, etc. won't bee see much if at all.
Seeing how in depth the customization is. Hopefully they have some sort of transmogrification so you don't have to be fully covered

The options are incredible. Ive spent about 20 hours in the character creator already. My next try im going to attempt Sebille from Divinity OS 2. Hopefully with the same proportions.

2:30 just like a scalp tattoo you grow your hair over again tattoos are virtually invisible below fur, but this actually looks like paint ontop of the fur.
Though tbh I do not feel comfortable discussing fur on bipeds.

They’re all meant to be cat-like, but stretch the features out enough and you’ll get something more wolffish
