  • Where do you send a dog that's unadoptable? For some dogs it's the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in Madison, New Jersey. There the staff, working in conjunction with the St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center, are helping dogs with serious issues change their behavior. The dogs have come from abusive homes, and some of them were "hoarded," kept with large numbers of other animals. In one of the center's toughest cases, they came from a dog meat farm in Korea; the story of one of those dogs had a very happy ending.

    I have noticed that in many dog rescue places that the terrified dogs can suddenly change when they are put with other brave dogs. This shows them that it is safe as they see the other dogs interacting with humans in a fun way.

    This is brilliant especially the larger spaces other dogs and toys that would help so many dogs who are aggressive out of fear. It's wonderful to see them given the second chance. Many of them are like that because of neglect or human abuse and we have a responsibility to them to not give up when things get difficult. we shouldn't put animals down without first trying everything when it comes to a healthy animal

    Absolutely loved your video. One life saved is wonderful in and of itself. Your program is doing that each & every day. Awesome, thank you for all you do. Just putting it out there but I'm willing to bet you'd have a stack of applications a mile high if you considered bringing in some Veteran's to learn and work as trainers.

      +MrJtknight I can only agree with you to a point. but just like helpless dogs that can be cure, sad to say, there's only a few A-HOLES that can be help. Those who can should rot in hell, but finding those who are willing to change should have the aportunity to get a second chance.

    • @carriemiddleditch9795
      @carriemiddleditch9795 8 років тому

      +drphil3203 Kaya looks like a Shiba Inu mix, and I'm pretty sure Robin is a Korean Jindo dog, a pretty rare breed to find outside Korea

    • @robbygrodin8095
      @robbygrodin8095 8 років тому

      +Carrie Middleditch Correct, Robin (now Yuki) is a Shiba/Jindo mix. We'll be doing a DNA analysis soon to find out her exact blend, but she looks very Jindo and has such a shiba face! You can see more pictures here- instagram.com/yuki_the_wonder_pup!!

      +Kamikaze Kagami The ASPCA does a very good job screening owners. We adopted Robin (now Yuki) and she's been so sweet. Robin has always been a good dog, just afraid of humans due to the abuse she suffered at their hands. You can see more of her at instagram.com/yuki_the_wonder_pup!!
