I have one too. It is a decent unit for what it was made for. It will run a 32-inch lcd TV for 8 hours or all day with Solar panels cuz it has pass thru charging. You can convert Harbor Freight existing solar panels to work if you don't want to wait for the new panels to come into stock. Also, you can get 2 hours charging if you plug 2 chargers in it. I tried it. One in the back and one in the USB input. It will also run LED/USB lights, a low power ham radio, and charge a phone during a power outage. It will also run a laptop or charge some power tool batteries. I like it. It can't match a big power station It won't run a full-size Coffee pot (if I need coffee off grid I use my percolator and Coleman stove), or microwave or a heater, but even a big power station will lose battery power very fast though if you try to run high wattage stuff through them. Even a Eco flow Delta without a bunch of solar panels will get drained in about an hour and a half if you plug it to a 1000- or 1500-watt space heater. Use it for light duty stuff for what it was designed for, and it works fine. If I need power, I would not use this as a primary back up power source. But paired with a solar panel, It is a good supplement to a generator. If i need to run something big, I use a small Champion inverter gas/propane generator.
I think we have the same mind set on this. My main use for this is to use at conventions, maybe some camping, but mainly to power a small arcade, TV, old nintendo's, Atari etc.. Low power stuff. For a primary backup, at least right now, I have a Honda 2200 generator. I was surprised by what this would run, but my main use is for conventions.. Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it.
I literally just saw this on their website. Nice to see a video out on it so soon. Huge advantage of this is it charges so fast. Probably going to be a purchase for me in the near future.
@@chrisp308 Yes, perhaps.. But this does everything I need it to do. Running old videos games at conventions. Still testing it on stuff but it ran my Street fighter arcade all night long with the sound off. It's still fun to see what it does or doesn't do. And it's cheap enough for me. :)
80-100 watts charge input from wall voltage is NOT a high/fast charge rate!!! 😬 Compare to an EcoFlow River 2 MAX which has a 660w charge input!!!...and now is currently on sale at Sam's Club for $299!!! Zero to 100% charge in 60 minutes, 1000 Watt capable with X-Boost.
Geez the UA-cam trolls out in force on this one, settle down people! I appreciate you picking one of these up and showing us some tests. Saw this at HF a couple days ago so was doing some research. I just have a couple of things to point out. I did see in the manual you can charge with AC from the wall and solar/DC simultaneously so theoretically you might be able to charge at upwards of 150-200 watts. When you get your solar panels I'd like to see that test. You could do it now by plugging the DC cable into your car while plugged into the house at the same time. Second thing related to your video game machine. I wonder how much more run time you'd get if you just use the 12vdc output directly to your game machine rather than going from power station battery 13VDC -> 120VAC inverter -> 120VAC power supply -> 12VDC to the game. Certainly some loss through each conversion process. Might need to make yourself a cable to run direct to the power station DC output to the game machine.
@shanesdiy Yes.. they are out in force. The most troubling thing about it is not one of them purchased this thing before they say it's poop Lol.. Anyway I did the video mainly for people who have never had one and don't know about how to use these things. Of course someone needs to look at the power requirements on the device their using first. I knew the coffee maker wouldn't work, but how many people don't know that? And, Of course this isn't going to compete with a 500w + power station. This is in the sub 200 range. Charging via 12v and AC would really be a good test, and I think I'll do that on a short this weekend. I did get this specifically for the arcade machines so I think that's a good idea about running the arcades on 12v, I'm sure I can make a cable for that easily enough.
I think you’re literally the first person to have a hands on review of this. I’m going to hold out and get a larger one. A good follow up might be to see how many times it charges a phone or tablet device.
Yes, More will come in time, this is just too new.. I'm also going to get the larger one when it's available. That's a good idea, Maybe with my little craftsman 150watt.. That would be a good test.
Came here from Kearny Farm channel. Thanks for the review. People should understand that every product has a use case and this one fit yours, so that's all that matters. I have a few "smaller" power stations for specific duties like being a UPS for my router, NAS, TV, streaming device and soundbar. Although I think the ecoflow river 2 or 3 is better, being able to buy/return locally has it's own value. Keep up the good work.
Thanks J.. I appreciate that. There are a lot of people on here that are hating on it, but they've not got one yet. I'd like to see them get one, then hate on it. I do agree that although this works great for what I am using it for. I will most likely be getting the River 2 or 3, not sure which one yet. Also the harbor freight 600 is on my list. I like the face that if something goes wrong, I can take it back to the store. As far as the charging, I don't see the big deal right now about one of the others charging a little faster. I can plug this in at night and it'll be charged full in the morning. BTW.. @KearneyCreekFarm channel is Awesome!! Rock on brother!
It has a 350 watt inverter. 115 volts times amps equals watts. It will run a rice cooker 225 watts, a smoothie maker 60 watts and a hair dryer on low setting. It will run anything that draws 350 watts or less. It should also run a dc volt diesel heater as my Bluetti EB3A runs my diesel heater. Cool video. Thanks for posting.
Ahh.. Rice cooker, now there's an idea. I did just try a hair dryer after work yesterday, and yes, it works on low.. I also tried my hair clippers.. those worked too. I've actually been looking into replacing my propane furnace with a diesel heater in my little camper.
Predator COULD have made this to run 700W continuous .... Even if its only for 30 min, at least that open the door for a few more appliances. But $200 for 300W capacity cant be beat. You CANNOT get a 20V at 15ah or 40V at 8ah battery WITH the inverter for $200 ... That battery alone will be well over $200 PLUS the cost of the inverter which will be a modified sine wave and NOT a pure sine wave like this has. So this unit is a 300W capacity @ 300 running watts with (pure sine wave, irrelevant imo) for $200 ... cant be beat
Nice! I went today to get the mini tool boxes, They had 40, and were sold out in 45 minutes.. I was just a few hours too late! Was going to get them for the grand babies and paint them with chalkboard paint!
@JDPDoingStuff try again on black Friday, my harbor freight told me that they only put out 40% of their mini toolbox stock today for Early black Friday sales and the other 60% will go out on Friday. Not sure every HF will do this but worth a shot
My HF said they put them all out. Supposed to have more on Wednesday or Friday. I'll be out of town that day, but will be going down to the local one and see if they have them.
@JDPDoingStuff What would be really awesome if you could hook that up to the mini 3 cup black and decker rice cooker. It runs at 200w... Need be you stockpile rice and water and with solar power easily make many meals because Rechargeable.. not to mention its much more low-key and you could cook anywhere unlike a fire would have its limited locations and beakon at night...
I have a different brand unit thats rated at 320w bought mainly for work running a 120w water pump when i need it but use it for personal stuff all the time even runs my pit boss pellet grill ive cooked for 6 hrs and still had plenty of juice. Eventually ill get a bigger one for other stuff but the small units like these have plenty of uses.
Waiting for the 1200W to be available in the late Spring. I currently have a Duracell POWER 500 which has been great during Summer storms keeping a couple of lights & fan until the power comes back.
Well.. I'd say test everything you want it for, other than phones, they all do that Lol. I'll do some shorts on it with a hair dryer, maybe a toaster oven etc.. I subscribed BTW.. I like your channel.
@@stevejette2329 I appreciate that Steve, thank you. I'm just a guy filming things that I'm doing. I don't read or create scripts. I'm sure there is a place for it, but if I had to read a script, I'd probably stray off it!
@@JDPDoingStuff I mean 'scripting' in a VERY loose sense. Basic "Tell them what you will be telling them, TELL THEM, tell them what you just told them." as an overview. And some noisy type videos can't do voices. Back in the 90s, I used to film local LOUD drag races. yikes
The truth is there are some companies that definitely make a better inverter for the same price, but they are all good. Just depends on the look and functions you want!
Best use on these little units are for back up power for say light load electronics. It will be great addition to the other Craftsman adapter inverter you have. Def get some solar to assist in it charging. There is also cables on Amazon that goes from USB C to XT60 connectors and USB C to Anderson connectors and such. But, this will allow you to use extra USB power bricks laying about to push power back into the predator battery generator while using the AC for various loads. This will help extend your run time. I plug my USB C to my solar input XT60 jack and can push 100 watts or more into the stuff I own.
@@JDPDoingStuff No panels try using this to extend run time on solar batt gens. for extending the use for inverter use Amazon Type C to XT60 Adapter Cable, USB C to XT60 Charging Cable USB C Male to XT60 Female Cable PD 140W Charging Cable Support for Tool-kitrc M7 M6 M6D M8S Charger 3.3FT
@@1kzrider I'll have to look in to that. If I understand you correctly, In a nutshell, Your making an adapter to charge via the solar port as well as AC?
Over two and a half hours to change with nearly 50% full? That’s like under 100 watts with AC, something doesn’t seem right. Does it hav an App that you can adjust the charging power with, maybe it’s set too low. 😮
Return it and get the EcoFlow River 3, it has an App, it has fast charges up to 300 watt, and it’s about $40.00 less, plus it can handle up to 600 watt surges, I bet it could handle you coffee maker that failed your test. Truly, its 10x better than that Predator, look it up.
Well, I'm not going to return it, but I may still get another one. Possibly the Ecoflow, not sure yet. The coffee maker is 750 watts. I knew it wouldn't brew coffee.. It was still fun tho.
I find that sometimes my power stations with 1 minute left will take 5 - 10 minutes to complete....Something to do with balancing the charge on the batteries.
I just got one in case I need light during a black out. I live in LA to be exact and all these fires have me thinking I need at least light or on the go charging in case of an evacuation. I already have an anker with about the same power as this one I think having two is essential as we are a family of 4. As of right now all harbor freights in La county and surrounding counties are sold out of generators. Pretty scary. When I get my tax return I will be buying a gasoline / propane generator or inverter. Its funny that u used that small vornado heater to test it because I have the same exact one and was wondering how lone it would run it for lol
OH! I hope you and your family are OK and the fire stays away! We hear alot about it in the Reno area. I was actually pretty surprised that that little vornado ran on it. I wasn't expecting it to, but it did, but only on low and for not very long. Possibly long enough to warm you up in a car or small space. Still, I think that probably isn't its intended use Lol. But for charging and running a light.. Hmm.. You could actually run a lamp with incandescent bulb, those actually heat up, so there would be that little bit of heat as well. I had an older Honda 2200 generator from the 80's and recently got rid of it. I have been looking at used newer Honda inverters for emergencies, but also looking at these HF generators as well. Still not sure which direction I'd go on that.
right now at home depot the jackery is $649 for the 3000w 1500w running with a solar panel. they're on clearance sale in store only for harbor freight at select cali locations. im assuming with the new predators they wont stock jackery anymore thast $1000 setup for $650
@@JeremyjsmSWVA Did you pick one up? I am traveling and was able to find a Jackery 550 (at harbor freight) on sale for 299, And with a coupon I got 25 dollars off that as well. so 275 out the door. Haven't taken it out of the box yet, I'll do that when I get home :)
@@JDPDoingStuff right after I posted that I went to Home Depot’s website and it’s another $50 off so a $1000 setup for $599 I couldn’t pass up. It’ll be here for pick up on Wednesday
Can this be left on an appliance as a backup battery.? I plan to have my Wi-Fi router plugged in at all times in the event of a power outage. Will it seemlessly stay powered up?
No offense to you or your thoughts on the power station but up next to the bluetti eb3a that thing sucks the eb3a will charge 3x as fast has double the inverter has Bluetooth and an app the only thing this has going for it is a tiny bit more watt hours I would return if it was me.
Yea id rather have the 600W output even if its only for ~25 min But still this predator and your Bluetti capacity is way too low. I need something with like 1000 mAh capacity to run a frig for a few hrs during a short power outage.
@JDPDoingStuff maybe 2 or 3 hours but usually electricity is not even needed for several hours if door is kept shut so would probably get you overnight in that case.
During one of Amazon's "Limited Time Deals" I was able to get the Ecoflow Delta 2 for $399. It has 1024 WH of capacity for just $100 more than this Predator. Even at its current price of $549 it still beats the Predator in cost per WH. I'm not knocking the HF Predator as I'm a big Harbor Freight fan, but at the same time I like to get more for what I pay - not pay more for what I get.
What the hell are you on about, that thing is huge my BLUETTI AC200L barely bigger and it has 10x the capacity and 10x the capability. For only supplying 300wh it needs to be smaller why would someone bring a big useless power station on a camping trip
decent video, theres not many out there on these yet. just a pro tip, maybe do alot of research on the unit and take note of the specs and what comes in the box so it doesnt seem like you have no idea lol. i even make little note cards when i do review videos so i can reference them during the video to give everyone accurate and correct information. with that being said, im jealous that you found one. ive been trying to find one for about a week now and still havent found one.
Is this Sean or Sam!!!???!! I like your channel.. I've actually been watching it for a while.. I really liked your Shuttle Bus. If your ever in Carson City.. Look me up. I'll be going to St George This week.. Yea.. I hear ya. I tried to do some research on it, but there wasn't much out there. I've tried to use note cards, but always seem to 'veer' off course and fly by the seat of my pants... This video was a pretty quick one, filmed stitched together then uploaded.. Kinda 'off the cuff'. Anyway.. Someday I'll get better at this UA-cam thing.
I need a power station that can handle a heater like that Vornado one in the video for at least an hour at a time. Something that is low cost but the next step up from this unit. Any suggestions?
Well, Heaters are pretty power hungry, I would say if your going to use it for that, maybe the larger 600+ watt power station? I'm sure others may chime in on their recommendation, but take a look at the reviews of them before you pull the trigger on one.
I actually don't have one to test. It would really depend on the brand, but the little research I've done, the better ones like Pit Boss and Traeger use 300 to 500 watt startup for a few minutes and 30 to 50 watt per hour. If startup is at or around the 350 mark or less, I think this would run your grill. Someone with more knowledge and better math skills than I will surely chime in, but you'd really need to look at your startup power. Once started it looks like they all pull between 30 and 50 watts per hour, it's just the startup that needs looking at. The 700 watt surge is just that, a surge of power, not sustained. That all being said, if you weren't too far, we could definitely test it out! :D
I think the ECOFLOW Portable Power Station RIVER 3 or BLUETTI EB3A Portable Power Station would take half the time to get it charge 0-100%. By the look of it, 4-4.5 hrs to get full charge start 0. I own the Bluetti and has no problem running the fridge. I should be able to run the heater at high with power lifting on.
I got mine today. 20% off coupon. Mine was $159 after the discount. I bought an ecoflow 2 years ago and it didn't last long. Customer service sucked with them. And it only had a 1 year warrenty. This one has 5 years. I called them to confirm. You have to register the unit. Predator and Harbor Freight always have 5 star reviews with predator gennys so I decided to invest in their new inverter quality brand. Its not as big wattage 380 vs 600 but its half the price of Ecoflow. Im thankful i had the money and the right timing to get one. They had two left.
People keep telling me to get ecoflow and I hear from alot of people their customer service is poop. This thing if something happens in 5 years, you can return it.
It says right in the manual warranty registration is not required. Return to store with proof of purchase e.g. in store receipt or packing slip/invoice.
That's Awesome Roger. But I doubt it would run this one. I know there are low watt coffee makers out there, this isn't one of them. I did look up your 330 and it looks pretty cool. Physically maybe a bit smaller than this one which is pretty cool. Regular price on that is 299 but I see it's on sale right now for 189.. I keep thinking I want to get one of each that you guys think is "Better" but I kinda want to hold off for the Predator 600 and the solar panels. Anyway, thank you for your comment. :)
First word that popped into my head when I saw this model..."DIMINUTIVE!!!"! 😂 Probably the biggest thing going for this little power bank is that it is Pure Sine Wave rated!!! For me, the "Deal Breaker" is the slooow charge speed, especially if you are replenishing the stored power from a generator...80-100 watts only, is underwhelming!!! Compared to say the EcoFlow River 2 MAX which can ingest 660 watts in the charging phase!!! Two critical points are the ingestion wattage (charging) and conversion efficiency (power output) phases. If charging from a generator, I want the power bank to ingest and store as much power and as quickly as possible!!! Cuts down on generator run time and gas consumption. First inverter/power bank I ever purchased was the EGO Power PAD5000 (400w Pure Sine Wave, 800w boost) which works with the EGO Power tools battery packs. At only $149 and already having the batteries, I thought it was a good deal!!! Saved my butt on 24+ hour 3D print job!!! I had a UPS hooked up to the printer and then the PAD5000 hooked up to the UPS!!!--worked as a "stop gap" until I could start up my generator to then power the printer going through the UPS!!! Saved me a $100 print job failure!!!
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you were able to use that to power your printer temporarily. I know this isn't for everyone and that's OK. I don't own any ego tools or equipment, so I would have never looked at getting one of those.
looks like the ecoflow item charges at 1c rate for fast charging. but this reduces longevity and conservation over time significantly than slow charging power stations. I'm not arguing which is the right approach but for 350wh products, 100w charging is the adequate for much longer lifespan and more efficiency. it's just that both way have their own merits and are targeting different demands.
i think this inverter is a GOOD deal for the price. 300W continuous, 300W capacity, pure sine wave for $200 .... You cannot duplicate this in any way with an inverter that has a detachable battery. The only issue is the 300W limit with the small 300W capacity. If you are going to give me a standard 120V outlet, at least make it 1800W to run anything that can plug into it.
Im waiting for them to come in stock locally I only need it for starlink so watts isn’t a concern. What are the measurements of the unit I would like to fit it into a Packout case.
Hopefully you'll find one soon. I don't think you'll be disappointed in it. The measurements are: 8" tall by 7 1/4" deep by 10" wide. Using a Pittsburgh (HF) Tape Measure Lol.
The average coffee pot pulls between 650 and 750 watts or higher, and between 9 and 13 amps. Depending on the coffee pot. These small power stations are not rated for that kind of load. I have had 2 different power stations each one had a 500 watt pure sign wave inverter built in, and able to push out just about 8 amps MAX. They were both rated for 10 amps but the plastic on one started to melt at that amperage, and the other one just shut off over 7 amps. If you want to run a coffee pot then you need something that will handle 750 watts and 10 amps on the low end, and pray. A power station rated at 1000 watts and 12 amps will run a coffee pot, but they are very expensive. It's much cheaper just to buy a 1000 or 1500 watt DC to AC power inverter, and run it off batteries or a car alternator. Small power stations are good for charging cell phones or running a small DC fan or maybe a TV or a laptop, but not much more than that. In a power outage a small 500 watt power station can run a chest freezer for a limited amount of time. I did a 10 hour runtime test on our already froze Artic King 3.5 Cu Ft chest freezer using both the power stations that I bought. Those videos are on my own channel. The problem with cheap power stations from China is they tend to break down pretty quickly. Neither one of the power stations that I tested lasted a year before they broke down. In a pinch I do have ( FOUR ) 12 volt DC to AC power inverters ranging from 400 watts clear up to 5000 watts peak. I have TWO modified sign wave inverters and I have TWO 1500 Watt Pure Sign Wave Inverters. Even if the power station that you bought could handle all 350 watts that it's rated for that's not a lot of power. Think about it for a second. There are some computers that have a 650 watt or higher power supply, and some laptops can pull 120 watts or higher just by themselves. Some smart TV's can pull more than that as well. If you pulled your power station apart you would see that the wires are barely large enough to carry the 350 watts that it's rated for. The rating on these is usually a split second rating or peak rating for the power station, and not a continuous rating. If you want to use a coffee pot then you either need a much larger power station with a output of way more watts and amps, or a nice size DC to AC power inverter. I also hope you have better luck with harbor freight stuff than I have had. We purchased a generator from harbor freight, and it started once and it never started again. Come back in a year and let us know how it's holding up. Even if this can run 350 watts continuous that's still not a lot of power for a emergency.
Chris.. I hear ya. I do have a 1200 what dc inverter, but rarely have I ever used it. I don't need one of these for an emergency or to brew coffee.. I just wanted to try a bunch of stuff. I've actually had pretty good luck with Harbor Freight. Anything that didn't last, they always took it back no questions. I actually purchased a Torque Wrench from them probably 15ish years ago +/_ a couple years. I've used the cr@p out of it and it still works great. On the flip.. I purchase a breaker bar and it broke on the first bolt, Returned it to the store, they refunded me because they had no more in stock no questions asked. Went to Napa and got one there, for more money and it broke on the 4th bolt (rusty brakes on a trailer) and they gave me the run around when I returned it with receipt. This power station, if/WHEN it breaks, I can just take it back to the store. I'm definitely going to check out your channel, you have some interesting videos. Thanks for your comment I appreciate it.
@@JDPDoingStuff It sounds like. I'm like you. I just do ytube for fun. I'm glad you like harbor freight, but there has never been anything that I have bought from them that was worth it. I bought a large C clamp from them once to help me put on some U joints on my old ford f150 and the clamp broke in half and hit me in the head. It left a pretty good size gash, and there was a lot of blood. Neither of the 2 power stations that I bought are still working, and they started out great. From what I can tell the first one shorted out and burned through some wire, and the BMS and the display went out on the second one. I did remove the battery packs for both of them but right now I can only use one pack with a small 400 watt inverter because the second one charges to 24 volts, and not 12 volt. You are welcome to check out my stuff if you like, then again my videos may not be to your taste. I do know that either one of the power stations that I had would run our chest freezer. I also did testing on our ARB fridge from 72 degrees to -4 degrees and they did a good job. About 8 hours was about as long as they ran my 58 Quart ARB fridge if I remember right. Since I pay for everything myself, and don't take or get discounts I can be pretty brutal when it comes to a review.
@@christopherhorton821 Yes, I also do it for fun. The best things at harbor freight are the gloves Lol.. And the microfiber towels. Don't ever get their batteries, they are poop. I also pay for things and find it hard sometimes to "do a comparison" It'll happen when it does. This Predator 350 was something I needed to do a certain task, and it does that well. I just don't understand why people can't get some type of emergency supplies, or backup power. We are on a fixed income and we still have rent and bills, but if you really want something then sometimes you have to give something up, or struggle for a while to get it. I'm do know that there will be people wanting you to do testing running your fridge, but even the 500 watt power stations that I had would not run my full size fridge. I don't expect this thing to run my refrigerator in a power outage, that's not why I got this, I just thought it's be fun for people to see exactly what it does and doesn't do. Nothing that you or @david-js6sg says will change my mind about it.
@@JDPDoingStuffthe prices of these batteries are coming down significantly. It helps to run the price per watt hour calculations between the brands. In this case you paid about .61 cents per watt hour which is quite a bit higher than many others on the market Bluetti, DJI, Pecron etc are all in the .45 per watt hour and under right now. I just picked up not only a little Pecron 500 but also a much larger 6000wh unit because the price is right around .32 cents per wh at the moment. Also stay away from lithium ion batteries for power station Make sure to stay in the lithium ion phosphate (LiPo)range
Take it back. You can get an Ecoflow Dela 2 for $399. It is 1800 watts and 1024 wh. And charges at 1200 watts. So less than an hour and a half for over three times the battery. Plus it has wifi.
I was looking at the Ecoflow's and I do like them, Was also looking at the Bluetti and Jackery. This one was local, and does have a use for my situation. I do plan on getting a much larger one, for home emergencies eventually. Have no plans to return this one, I'll just get another later on!
@@JDPDoingStuff I have done many hours of research on these types of things. My favorite is Anker and it came down to customer service. Looks like the predator has the industry standard 5 year warranty, so thats a good sign. for the amount of wh the predator comes with, the price point is decent as similar brands go for 135-200 depending on the sale. I would personally compare this to the anker 521 or anker solix c300. I know you said youre happy to stick with this one because it was purchased local, but you could get equal watt hours during black friday for about $60 less
I was actually looking at the EcoFlow River and Anker 521 before I got this one. I wanted one for my trip this week. I'll still be looking for deals come Friday, I may get another one! Possibly the Anker, but I was really looking at the EcoFlow River, Eventually I'd like to get one with a bit more capacity, like a 1000ish +/- but perhaps after the holidays.
Why doesn't anyone doing videos on these ever mention that it has no wifi or Bluetooth for app control? 100w max ac input also another fail. Better options out there for the price. They'd be crazy to not have included wifi, bluetooth or expansion options in the larger units.
It may compete with the Jackery. Jackery level products and market is not where HF needs to be competing. The power is too low for any real utility or support of typical harbor freight customers who by their generators. Most people buy from them for backup power for use in disaster situations. While this is a step and may provide what their customers want in their products the power is currently way too low for any real utility at any significant length of time. I am happy they have ventured into this market and feel comfortable that predator will put out better in the future.
Ok - 100AH LiFePO4 battery $200, a decent PSW inverter (1000 watts), another $200. Yep, beats the per wh price of the Predator... or does it? You still need a charger, USB and 12volt power outputs, cables, wiring, etc etc.
@OutdoorLiving88 considering that on HF that the comparable number of watt hours is $1300 and a charge controller is $15 bucks etc yes I built me one in and old rolling cooler and I have about 350 in it plus my time
Are you just wanting the cake? Now I want cake too Lol.. "much more power"? I doubt that. Cake batter isn't very thick. Now.. If I were making a loaf of bread, that might tax the mixer a bit.
Will it Brew Coffee? Do you NOT know how power works or have any clue on what appliances draw what power ??? Anyone who knows electricity or knows what appliances draw would know that a coffee maker pulls WAY MORE than 350W and not to attempt this.
Evidently not.. Why the hate? Did you pick one of these up to test it yourself? As far as the coffee maker goes, Yes, I knew ahead of time it wouldn't do it because it pulls 750w. But that's what people want to know before buying something.. Not everyone knows everything about electricity or these power stations.
@ the title says it all buddy 🤷🏽 Questioning whether or not a 300W will power a 1500 watt coffee maker is the key that you dont know. Here is a video: I just worked out for 5 hrs ... can i lift an elephant ?
No wifi, no bluetooth means no app control. They dropped the ball. The flip phone of power stations. Much better options out there for less. I'm not gonna get into the whole coffee thing🤣
That's awesome.. I was surprised to see it in stock. I thought they weren't available til mid December.
Do you have a battery charger and an inverter? If so you would be way better off getting a 100 ah lipo4 battery on sale right now on Amazon
@@fookingsog the fast charging is with the USB-c and the AC charger BOTH plugged in at the same time.
Same waiting for the larger ones for Overlanding, I like how it has a 5 year warranty on it.
Better of get a name brand one like an Ecoflow or Bluetti or Jackery
Possibly. Would be good to get another brand that is about the same just to compare them. Or find someone who already has one and do it that way.

@@Kaliburz Awesome. Glad you were able to get one with a coupon!
Well I can't argue with that math.. I love that all you guys and gals that are smarter than me on these things are commenting.. I am taking notes!
Great test with the heater. It's my main camper heat source and draws a lot of power. Unfortunately, I Ned my heater to run on full.
And this only would run on low for about a half hour..
Picked one up this morning along with 2 mini tool boxes. Cant waot to try ot out
Nice first true review
Thanks Adam.. I appreciate it. I wanted to do a video of things I was looking for when researching :)
That thing is super awesome!!! Lucky you got one. Just need the solar panel kit now...
Thank you CEO. I am keeping an eye open for the predator solar panels. :)

The truth is there are some companies that definitely make a better inverter for the same price, but they are all good. Just depends on the look and functions you want!
Yes.. That's true about alot of things.. Not just solar generators.
I think you need to do a demonstration with the solar panels how fast it will charge up or will it run continuously with solar panels
I also think that is a good idea.. Soon as I get some I will :)
Was it cheaper than the jackery?.
The 300 is about the same price as this one.
Thats awesome. I'll have to look into that. I need to get some solar panels.
You can always run any panel through it and use it like a solar charge controller.

Can this be left on an appliance as a backup battery.? I plan to have my Wi-Fi router plugged in at all times in the event of a power outage. Will it seemlessly stay powered up?
I would assume you could? I'll have to try that.. That's a good idea. When it was charging, it did stop charging when it was full.
I did purchase one today. And yes, it will act as a battery backup, seamlessly switching, no power, lose on whatever device is currently plugged in

Yea id rather have the 600W output even if its only for ~25 min
But still this predator and your Bluetti capacity is way too low. I need something with like 1000 mAh capacity to run a frig for a few hrs during a short power outage.

@ACommenterOnUA-cam that would run a fridge for a couple hours.

Will it run a pellet grill for 4-6 hours?
I do hear good things about the Ecoflow. However I don't have one. I did get this one. Now I want to take it apart and see what makes it tick... Lol

Does harbor freight accept returns on this power station just in case it does not work out for me?
Yes, they do. Just save your receipt.
No. You bought it you own it.
First word that popped into my head when I saw this model..."DIMINUTIVE!!!"! 😂
Probably the biggest thing going for this little power bank is that it is Pure Sine Wave rated!!!
@@economyforecastlaboratory6593 Thank you for your comment. That is good information. :)
i think this inverter is a GOOD deal for the price.
You make some good points! Thanks for the comment. 😊
Bluetti does double for same price.

Hopefully you'll find one soon. I don't think you'll be disappointed in it. The measurements are: 8" tall by 7 1/4" deep by 10" wide. Using a Pittsburgh (HF) Tape Measure Lol.

I would've applied that 200 bucks to the eco flow Delta 2 1800w with LFP battery on amazon for 400

Yeah, I bought the Delta 2 with that sale.
@@bigmike5678 Awesome
@@bigmike5678 Me too. I got the Ecoflow Delta 2 for $399 on one of Amazon's "Limited Time Deals". And it WILL run a coffee pot. lol
@OutdoorLiving88 Nice!
Hopefully this power station can live up to the hype and doesn’t come out as bad as their generators😭
Time will tell
Their generators are beasts, what are you smoking???😂
That sucks about the c clamp. I actually have a few of those in different sizes, I use them mainly when doing anything with wood. I also pay for things and find it hard sometimes to "do a comparison" It'll happen when it does. This Predator 350 was something I needed to do a certain task, and it does that well. If I wanted one of these power stations for emergencies, it would not be a small one like this.
@@JDPDoingStuff I'm glad that it worked for you. I myself have been spending a great deal of money lately on 6 Volt AGM Batteries. So far i have bought 4 of them for the huge cost of $979.90. They are $489.95 for a pair. I plan on buying 2 more this month. That would be a total of $1469.85 just for 6 batteries. They did run my chest freezer or my 12 volt ARB fridge though. I did testing on those. In a pinch you may be glad to have that. Saw this video yesterday ( 12-18-'24 )and ran out to buy one. It charged up in 4 hours to 100%. This morning, it would not charge above 90% ?? I took this one back, told the manager what the problem was, and am told I can do ONE more exchange OR return it for a refund MINUS A 20% RESTOCK FEE !!!! WTF !! This product comes with a 5 YEAR guarantee and they want to charge me a restock fee on a defective unit ??? Fuck harbor freight. There products are still and always will be shit !!
Wow. I wonder if they just threw them off the truck and damaged them. Mine still charges to 100. Sounds like you have a bad manager at your HF.
Those free microfiber towels are to wipe away all your tears when you finally realize you've been had not many things run on 350 watts. Exactly!
Wow.. This is a low power unit, it does have a use case and mine is perfect.. Conventions.. Had you watched my entire video, you would've heard me say that, as well as test it on a couple arcades, and it worked. Actually, there are a lot of things that run on 350 watts. This unit will work just fine for my little TV with an Atari, Nintendo or Sega attached. With my Craftsman 150 watt, I go through maybe 2 1/2 batteries in a day running an arcade machine. So this will get me through an entire day without having to swap out batteries.

@@JDPDoingStuffthe prices of these batteries are coming down significantly. It helps to run the price per watt hour calculations between the brands.
In this case you paid about .61 cents per watt hour which is quite a bit higher than many others on the market
