I always check the weight and use an earth magnet if its real it wont stick to magnet

I check weight, density, and magnetism. Tungsten is attracted by a strong magnet, gold is pushed away. Both effects are very weak but if you put the gold piece on a styrofoam float in your kitchen sink it is clearly visible.

@@royharris7135 Do it :). You will need a really strong neodymium magnet though. I got one 5x5x2cm, it was like 40 bucks on ebay.
