Looks like you had a great time. These fiver races are a genius way to get people involved in the racing aspect of MTB without the commitment or the pressures of signing up to a bigger race series. BTW Pingu was the name of a stop motion animation starring a penguin named Pingu, not sure how that relates at all to the trail but thats where the name comes from.
Looks like great fun, those trails look amazing. Possibly you slightly washed out on that corner because you didn’t have enough weight on the front wheel. I think there are some Flow Rider vids talking about leaning a little forward on corners where your back foot in on the inside. 🤘
