Yooooooo! Love the hardtail videos! I'm (non-exclusively) a hardtail guy who loves my Commencal Meta HT...and was in a past life (not that long ago) a dedicated camera user and aspiring-but-low-budget-to-dedicate-to-it camera nerd. It looks like those photos of Meg from early in the video were shot waist level. Are you shooting a medium format camera? Those photos had some of THE THING the photos that came out of my film Mamiya 645 also had. Part of it I think is that lower perspective and part of it I think is just good glass...but it's always a million factors, right? For whatever reason, those photos of Meg (and the ones before it but those Meg photos especially) plunked something in my sense memory of the images that came out of the 645. Thanks for the cool reminder that I miss shooting that thing! That's all for now! I'm sure I'll think of other stuff to harass you both about later!
lol, and then a minute later in the video I get a good view of the camera! Sooooooo...maybe it's the waist level shot plus some color manipulation? I HAVE NO IDEA but thanks for the nudge to pick up the 645 again!
