Dispatcher 453 sounds like he is on the top of his game.
Those highrise jobs separate FDNY from everyone else. Amazing work.
this job is nothing short of AMAZING...at all levels...from dispatch to nozzle being opened..trucks doing searches for life hazard and fire extension..great example of fire ground application of the 3 C's of success..well done everyone..FDNY is the GOLD standard
Heat can reach 2,000 degrees in one of these hi rise apartments built with fire stops between apartments.
Great work by the dispatcher and FDNY.
Nice job on both the dispatchers' communication with the firefighters and the knockdown on the fire by the firefighters.
4:36 water on fire! Awesome job FDNY. What a massive building. Can you imagine how many doors were forced to properly search?
Those structures are designed to contain and vent. They won't break doors if there's no exposure.
@@ForestNinjaZero ohh ok. Thanks for the info
the entire fire floor will be forced and searched and the floor directly above. Including all stairwells from 1 to roof. And every apartment the dispatcher gives the chief will require a ff to go to.
Amazing work FDNY
Very professional and their training shows. Well done!
Impressive knock down!
Wow good work by all. FDNY has a lot of experience with these high rise building fires.
4-5-3 - Great job man... GREAT job...
Awesome video
Transmissions crisp, clean.. Quick knock down.. 🫡
Good job
Good camera work, love the radio traffic, Stay Safe
Wow great work.
0:51 was that a small explosion or the camera exposure changing? 😮
Great comms.
Probably lithium battery.
This is why you never use your balcony as clutter storage. If you feel you need to store stuff on your balcony you have way too much stuff.
🎉I'm so glad I don't live in a block of apartments I'd never get out unless my son was there. No way I'd want to shelter in place that's what they did in London few yrs ago approx 82 victims it was horrific
Fire proof buildings (like this one) are made for you to shelter in place. Fire floor, floor above and in the apartment line above are evacuated. Most of the time to just another apartment on a lower floor or another apartment depending on where you are in relation to the fire apartment. No elevators. So easier for us to shelter you where we know you are.
Grenfell tower was similar to the building in the video, deigned to vent fire outwards and keep the occupant safe.
Then some idiot came up with the bright idea of covering he entire outside of the building with around 15 tons of highly flammable thermal insulation and cladding.
If it was not so sad, it would be funny.
Our daughter worked for 6 months in the building following the fire and she will never talk about it to this day.
we had 2 major fires here recently, one with 126 firefighters and one with 59
What is the purpose of the box number used by the dispatcher?
Dang good knock down.
Hey firemen, dont use the elevator.
🎉did they have a bbq on the balcony? I hope all got out OK? 🎉
Amazing how the FF’s carry those. heavy hose packs up those stairs to reach the fire.
🎉well done superheroes 🎉
Some superheroes don't wear capes, instead they wear some really nice looking turn out gear.
Great knock, fellas.
That's how it's done. 👍
Oh Jesus, I hope they get this put out quickly 🙏
No bar b queing permitted.
FDNY. Are awsòme!
Bravo NYFD!
Is there an alphabet for fire and police? Diff than military
I believe FDNY uses their own phonetic alphabet. Most US PD & FD use the APCO alphabet. Military uses NATO alphabet. Different history (amplified by strong tradition) and different priorities.
Stop calling fire engine units there company's
Buick knockdown by FDNY !!
Crack pipe?
