3 issues I’ve seen after 1000 miles with my 24 m3p, the carbon fiber piece on the dash rattles on rough roads, the center arm rest squeaks when you put weight on it, and the left right turn signal buttons get stuck sometimes
Full coverage PPF can run you $3000 to upwards of $8000. From the looks of the shop and the custom PPF cuts I'd say this is one is on the high end. For my money I'd probably go for a full ceramic coating over full PPF. Just way too much variance on the quality of the film and the install for my taste
I really like the look of the tint, but why do you tint the windshield and do 20% on front sides if its technically illegal? Are they pretty lenient in AZ? I am asking because I am also in Az and would like to do 70 on windshield, maybe 35 on front side, and 20 on rears and back. But Im worried about being ticketed for having any tint on the windshield and then having to pay for changing it back to limits.
There are so many people that have all of their windows tinted that I just went for it. If I get pulled over then I'll pay the fee. Do what you are comfortable doing but even 70 on the windshield is barely noticeable
I absolutely hate PPF! It cost way too much and just adds an additional layer of maintenance to the car. It protects the paint but gets damaged itself and ends up looking just as bad a paint damage therefore needing to be replaced. Having said that I haven’t used the 10mil stuff and I’ve heard it is pretty awesome though.
I agree, I would rather use it as it’s and if year later have a bunch of rockchips repaint in the best shop, and is gonna be like 2-3k instead of 8-10 on ppf
I am enjoying PPF, it has allowed some of my vehicles to have a second life without needing a new paint job later down the road. Understandably, a vehicle would be retired before it ever receives a new coat.
Gjeebs.. this is the main issue with the 2024 M3P. Tesla now has a TSB on the oil leak. You can now make the request to have it fixed without oil leaking. I watched a video on it and it looks like some type of MacGyver fix. This is not an easy fix. They need to drop the rear motor and also do an alignment. Not happy about this. 🤦🏽♂️
Watch out if your ambient light strips will crack or get condensation after tinting your car. My new m3p and my friend’s m3p ambient light looks horrible now.
Back then, with that Ultra Red paint, you paid full price in the amount of $58,630 (all fees included) before tax/registration. As of this writing, the same POS (doesn't stand for point of sale) is available for purchase on the official Tesla website for only $57,130 (all fees included) at point of sale (after Federal Tax Credit) before tax/registration. Oh there's more.. now thanks to Elon, the same Ultra Red POS comes with included FSD software package at the lower $57,130 price. 🤣
LOL . . you told me on another video that the Tesla paint"'was fine, you don't need PPF" LMAO. And here you are getting PPF put on! Just can't make this shit up.
Tesla paint is fine and you don't need PPF. Then again you don't need PPF on any car in the world. People get it because they don't want rock chips, scratches or bug stains.
@@TheMadmax0609 on the paint yes, but then all the scratches, chips, and bug stains are on the PPF and you can’t get those out unless you replace it. Very expensive way to make your car look worse in most cases haha
@@lbmerc8shut up. Just shut up. I’ve had PPF on different cars for 15 years. Looks amazing and the car has no damage on it. People like you have no idea what they are talking about.
@@Gjeebs Not about being " dense", hotshot. If Tesla paint is so great then go without PPF. It might even make an interesting video to do a comparison between a couple of Teslas to see how the paint wears over time. Maybe even get some of your Tesla buddies from around the country to send you pics so it s not just from where you are in the southwest where the weather isn't as cold and you don't deal with snow and road salt, etc. Hooray for you if you can reach into your pocket and just whip out another $7k to add to the cost of your car, plus all those accessories you keep hawking on here. Some folks are born lucky, I guess.
Looks great. In Oregon we can only do 35 or less on side and rear glass. Windshields can only have a 6" strip across the top.
His car is not 'legal' in AZ either, but it's legal until you get a ticket... LOL
Bro’s a rule follower
Took my Model Y to Dynamic Tint in June thanks to your videos Ben. I'm very happy with my Ceramic Tint.

Same here
Same with the dash rattle and center console creaks! Have toy been able to get those fixed?
The model 3 performance looks great. Ive always been a white fan with white interior, but now seeing yours, i might have to re think this...
Absolutely amazing craftsmanship - Brilliant work 👌
Regards from Denmark.
Really wish I could find the equivalent of Tyler's shop but in NYC
A common issue I saw with the demo models is the center console lid squeaks with basically any weight on it, other than that I haven't seen much else
Looks so good
Such a sick drive
Is there any reflection on the windshield due to the tint?
Not that I have seen yet
What is the cost to get this done ?

My front hybrid PPF costed me $1895

I wouldn’t drive a car without PPF ITS AMAZING

Check your rear drive shaft. A lot of people have oil leaks. Possibly the KAF fluid. Possibly could be a recall.
Your 3 looks incredible! Wow
Looking good, Ben. Love Tyler’s shop. Going to start following his UA-cam.
Magnificent ultra red 👌. Glad you had the water spots sorted safely. Can be a nightmare. Great businesses like this should be put out there.
4:31 the issue
Cost for all of that tint pls!
How much it costed?
Did you tint the headlights as well?
No but we put ppf on them
Did you ppf the front splitter?
How much did all that cost…just curious
F... it WE ARE DOING IT LIVE!!
one of the greatest moments in TV history
My delievery date is approaching (for the same car! I hope it doesn't get pushed back bc I sell my 2021 sr+ in a few days.
Do you have a address to where Dynamic tint is located ?
It's in the description
Would you ever consider doing windshield protection film?
Yes
Roughly how much did you pay for all of that? Also, where are they located?
Is that tiny legal in Arizona?
35% is the legal limit on the front windows and the rear you can go as dark as you want. It's not legal to tint the windshield at all
You have a friggn BEAST of a car! Luv that UR color!
thank you!
How long can you leave ppf on paint?
10 year warranty so at least that
Nice video! The car looks excellent! Did you end up covering the hood as well?
yep! full front ppf
Model 3 Passenger Lumber - would love to see a video installing & cost 😊
Came here to see what was the performance issue, not protective wrapping.
Looks crispy
Where do I get a Gjeebs shirt ?
They aren't out yet
Looks gorgeous
thank you
Car looks amazing. Definitely going red next time :)
Great video! Please feel free to contact us if you need any Tesla Model 3 Performance upgrades.

How did the tint mess with the ambient lights? You mean from sun exposure without tint?
I'm guessing the water got trapped in between; that's not good.
Yeah I'm switching to the s soon
Looks fantastic, now it’s time to replace the wheels. Seriously
I love how you inadvertantly revealed your car while looking at the Model Y tires. Worst YT reveal ever. 😂😂
There was no reveal lol
That thing looks amazing! Take the aero caps OFF!!!
The silver is it
That silver is 🔥🔥🔥
I agree. nice it comes on the model 3 now too

I had a focus st when you did. Now Ive ordered a M3P. Been a great journey!
You aren't alone!
10 mil? Surely you mean 1 mil and 0.8 mil?
Why is 3:49 video reversed? thought we wouldn't notice 😏
haha thought it looked cool in reverse
Could do a Halloween costume as Deadpool from the wolverine movie
A two minute ad???
