About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.
What an episode unreal bloody loved it was getting right into it then it finished hhah bugger bloody froth the troopy well setup
Great video again guys and your editing was spot on. Quondong Point was definitely an awesome spot. So envious of anyone in W.A at the moment with your freedom to roam. Hopefully won't be too long over here for us to maybe be able to get out somewhere. Catch you next vid again guys. 👍👍
Quondong point is a must especially if you can score that private beach it was the best!
Crazy good scenery. Your vid production these days is A1. Please keep taking the time and massive effort as it is what defines your channel as a ripper! Cheers
Thanks Dave really appreciate your comment! We will keep putting in the effort we love it!
Have just discovered you guys - loved the episode! Can’t wait to watch all of the others 👍

Your channel just gets better every time. I like the solar panels too. I’m looking forward to seeing more of WA.
Thanks so much mate! It’s always our goal to improve with every video! 😊
drone shot crossing the Pentecost river to open the ep, just stunning, loved the music, very natural content, your balance of beautiful shots and snippets of advice works really well, best ep you've done. Think you used your 80l of water cleaning the new bunnings grill ...ha ha !!
Thanks Graeme l! You are spot on with the Bunnings grill and cleaning it😂
Sic episode guys. Love your travels

Haha I did end up cleaning it. Not a fun experience 😂 Thanks for watching👍😊
@@itsJackandMegan No thank you for putting up all these awesome vids. It helps keep me sane during Lockdown 7.0 in Victoria. 👍😜
Love the vids guys!! Just about to start from your first vid and watch them all in order 😁
Thanks Sarah! The first few are pretty shocking in our opinion now but we appreciate the support! 😆
Love your "Evening thoughts" mate! (so much truth! I feel for the guys in lock down & to try and stay positive is the main thing) Yes, still planning/working on our adventures, not that we haven't already had some but the fit out of our new/old rig is not cheap with retirement looming, so we are taking it one step at a time as I can afford it (though we have now gone through another winter & we have not been camping even once which absolutely kills us but working hard on getting ready too do so!) P.S. .... it's always the "Blokes Job" to sort the fire cooking & cleaning. In fact, one of the reasons my wife likes camping is I pretty much let her relax, set up camp & cook as much as I can (which includes the cleaning) Happy wife, happy life, so a glass of red in her hand & a chair with nothing more to do than tend to the fire while I set up camp is a great way to start! Sooooooooo looking forward to getting out there again!..... As I've said before, we are so jealous of you guys but get encouraged to seek out what we know is out there. Thanks for another GREAT Video (even if I'm too old to like the music 🤣) Cheers!!
You are right mate I do enjoy doing all the cleaning up and cooking it’s all part of the camping experience and I love it!
Fit outs can can very expensive that’s for sure! Thanks for watching mate glad you enjoyed it! 👍😊🍻
That's Paradise! and Happy Birthday Jack.
On our Lap 5 years ago we had GOT episodes posted on thumbnail to N/Queensland just to keep up with it.
You used all your water cleaning that griller.
I hope you stopped at Barred creek entrance, amazing spot but not much room for many cars.
Ripper episode guys.
Marty from Perth
Hey Marty thanks mate!
GOT is a bloody good show! We have finally finished it😂😂 and yes I did use all the water up on the grill. Will leave it over the fire next time. 👍😊
Looks absolutely amazing I'm a little jealous and I had a laugh when you say you chill out watch GOT. Enjoy your time while your young.
Haha we’re a sucker for a good TV series! Thanks for watching Stephen! ☺️
@@itsJackandMegan keep up these awesome videos you two are an inspiration to everyone who wants to travel and live a simple life

Oh man. I'm 51 and I've paid my dues. Its time my wife and I started doing this stuff. This video depicts everything I imagine my free time to be. If only!! Hopefully one day my friend. Thanks for the inspiration you two.
Hey mate thanks for watching get out there you will love every moment! 😊👍
Great video! Very inspiring
Thanks Rodney we really enjoyed this one to!
Love it
Hey lovely people, looks like some beautiful spots again! Oh and that yummy yummy chicken on the coals!!
Thanks Warren! The chicken was extremely good I cooked it perfectly!
Great video Megan & Jack 😀😀😀
Thanks mate! 😊👍
Great video again guys, will be sad when the journey ends
It will be a sad day but so excited to see our family And especially our doggo! But hopefully we are back on the road before we know it. 👍😊
Great tip to clean the grid (assuming you don’t already do so) simply return it to the fire and leave it there all night (& assuming it is safe to do so). In the morning or the end of your time at the fire it will be all burnt off.
Yeah a few people have mention doing this so will definitely give it a shot next time. 👍😊
Such Thanks for such beautiful footage, and some great memories for me. Definitely having WA withdrawals, been locked out for a couple of years now 😭, neeeeeed my Kimberley/pilbara/Exmouth fix. Fingers crossed.
Thanks so much for watching! It is such a special place hey! Fingers crossed you can revisit again soon
Hey Guys,
Bet you didn't think you would get to 10,000 subscribers 😁 So close now. Keep up the great content and loving your work 😎
Crazy isn’t it we are so thankful! Thanks for watching mate. 😊👍

Cheers Kevan! 👍
You guys took this one to the next level 😅
Thanks Chantelle we honestly love this one as well!
Mate I have the 250watt Hardkore blanket and it is unreal. Excellent quality. Great vid guys👍
Can only imagine how good that 250watt one is! Great product hey.
Thanks for watching! 🤙😊👍
@@itsJackandMegan bugga sorry it is 200watt. Still doesn’t change that it is definitely quality gear at a good price. Safe travels 👍
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Hey guys great vid, I have a similar bbq grate, I put it back over the fire to burn all the extras off, then just wipe clean, might work for you..
Yeah will be trying this next time for sure!
Thanks Aron 👍😊
Only way to clean it.
another top vid guys, well done. re the fly screens - i did the same thing for the side windows of my troopy, had the same issue with the screen sticking to the magnet so used a hot glue gun and bob's your uncle. 😋😎
They work well hey!
Yep glue is the way to go did the job perfectly. 👍
Absolutely sick nature 👍🏾
Great location isn’t it! 😊
hoo ! so nice
Such an incredible part of Australia! 🙌🏼
Your vids are so good, you’re so lucky
Thanks Matt really appreciate your comment! 👍😊
You guys are living the dream, well done!
How’s the troopy going?
Hey mate the Troopys going perfect served us well!
another inspiring vid guys.........i am getting myself ready and i cannot wait. i am stuck in Melbourne however hopefully the journey will go towards adelaide and the coast line to perth and upto broome....what do you think?????let me know. cheers and keep safe!!!
Hey mate thanks for watching that’s sounds like a great plan the weather does start to come into wet season around November so just keep that in mind.
another grea vid guys. keep em coming. if you want some knives, hit up Harry from fire 2 fork. the pair of knives from Ozbrai look pretty good. no affiliation, just a suggestion!
love his UA-cam channel! he cooks some ripper meals!
Epic
👍🤙😊
What a magic place, amazing, years ago beach camping in QLD, i had some nudist weirdos wander into camp to say hello, i don't know how they thought it was a good idea.
😂 we got a bit of a fright because we don’t normally see it but each to their own. Thanks for watching mate! 😊👍
Gorgeous places! Envy, envy, envy!!! My escape from lockdown will come. Then the art of avoiding it will my mission! Are you considering travelling around Australia as a lifestyle? I am.
It really is a beautiful part of the country!
That’s our plan mate travel as long as we can we love it! 👍
Just burn the grill after use and should be easier to clean. Fire to fork mentioned it in a video he has!
Really enjoy watching your videos too!
I will try this next time! Love fore to fork as well he’s cooked some delicious looking food! 🤤
Not quite like espearance but great informative and entertaining vid . . . . Cheers
Thanks Stuart! Nothing does quiet beat Esperance.
Oh come on! We have been using those grids for the fire for millenia of years in South Africa!
😂 I’ve been missing out all this time!
Cable beach experience for me was a bright red dying nudibranch called Spanish dancer! 2006/7
Great video guys. The beaches you camped at, do you think an AWD Subaru Outback could reach? Or you would need a 4WD?
Most definitely mate easily!
@@itsJackandMegan thanks so much for replying, Awesome to know! Will take our Subaru to these camp spots north of Broome next July.
To clean the fire grill you just put it back in the fire and brush off the carbon once it cools
You’re binge watching Games of Thrones whilst I binge watch u guys (almost sounds creepy 😂).
Thanks for the tip on the Solar blanket, what size is ur battery & type ? Also your water, do you carry 80 litres? Sorry I know you’ve got some of this info in another video but I can’t remember.
I’ve got a feeling that ur nudist friends might be swingers……all that beach space & they come get their kit off right under your nose 🤷🏼♂️😂
Hey mate bloody game of thrones had us hooked! It’s a 135amp agm battery behind my drivers seat and also have an 80amp deep cycle under the bonnet. 2x 22lt water tanks on the rear and 3x 10lt inside the car. 👍😊
Hey guys, what's the solar panel Jacks in love with please?
Hey Kerry it's the Hardkorr 150w croc skin blanket!
Красиво!
🙏🙏💙💙
How do the wildpeak tyres go over all?
hey mate so far we have done 70,000km on them and had 2 flat tyres in the last month one on the gib river road and one in Karijini both roads were very corrugated and had heaps of shale sharp rocks! up until then they have done very well in beach sand they're also very good and quiet on road. would I buy them again yes I would but will be going with a different next time round as I just want to experiment with different tyres.
Hey Jack, Just curious, where are your folk from in Italy. I'm guessing you're from the north with your fair skin. Loving the vids.
Hey mate Sicilian from memory that’s south?
@@itsJackandMegan Thats a surprise considering the fairness. Doesn't matter, just remember your a lover and have romantic blood in your veins. It's in your DNA. haha have a good one.
Haha cheers mate!
I have a question, So when you said that you dont shower with the water in the jerry cans, what do you use to shower? Do you have a seperate water tank? Or what do you use?
Hi mate we may have misspoke. We do use the jerry cans to shower/dishes but were trying our best to preserve it on this week. We just fill a bucket up from the jerry cans usually!
@@itsJackandMegan Ok thanks so much for the reply
Get onto youtuber - Fire to Fork and have a look at his knives , they are brilliant!...get his cook book to , its to die for!
Been watching him for ages he’s a legend hey!
Sharpen your knives with ANY rough surface, bottom of your china or pottery cups, that red rock wall, anything rough and hard will sharpen your knives....💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾💅🏾
Thanks for the tips!
What drone are you using?
Hey mate it’s a DJI mavic pro.
Good vid. , really enjoyed it , just sub"d :)
Thanks a lot glad to have you following along 😊👍
I stayed in the exact same spot back in June and thought I had the beach to myself...
And then yeh the nudists turned up lol
😂😂
We're all nudist's under our clothing.
We're all born naked and we die naked. There is many people you don't know who'll see you naked at both events.
It's completely natural to be naked in nature.
It's how mother nature intended us to be.
The nudist's on that beach were like "Look at those freaks with their clothes on". LOL. You've got to laugh. :-)
😂😂😂 every time i see you have commented I get Megan and we sit down and read it together we love it! You’re right mate they were probably looking at us thinking they don’t know what they’re missing out on 😂😂
@@itsJackandMegan When one travels one should always carry a good attitude, sense of humour and an open mind.
When you two travel to new frontiers you'll need those traits.
Hot Tip : The best way to learn about your own country and culture is to soak up another country's culture.
Just be careful in these areas..seem to have been a hang out for criminals - sad the murder of a local girl has not been resolved even though violent criminals lived across the rd and down the rd from her family..this is no place for families if still harbouring serious offenders. Scary stuff!
Can you please splash out on better cameras!!
Hi mate we are working on it was there a problem somewhere in the video that stood out?
@@itsJackandMegan it just looks grainy, whichever camera your using to vlog with.
@@jessemorrison8661 thanks for the feedback mate will work on it 👍
@@itsJackandMegan but also, just found you guys and love the vids
