In December 2015 we packed up and hit the road for what we thought would be a 12 month Lap of Oz. Fast forward 5 years and we decided to create a video series of our travels to show you all what it’s like to live life on the road!!

Hi from Ireland. 20 years ago I lived in Broome for 9 months, working on the pearl farms. Such a magical and unique place and the people of Broome were unbelievably kind to me. Every day you stay will make it harder to leave. Wishing you all the happiest time there 😎

What a glorious country we all live in. Back in 2005 our family took a year off work and travelled this amazing country. This video brought back some amazing memories that will last a life time, so thanks so much for all that you have done and are still doing, so inspiring..

I have teenagers and lately I’ve been feeling like a failing Dad, decided I needed to watch something to take me away from everyday life, watched Bec tear up over kids going to school.. and it brought me back to reality, GLORIOUS thanks Bec..

Love following you guys. Have been doing so for a while now. Wow, your kids are certainly growing. What an experience for them, and the experiences you give them shows in their confidence. You're a great family & the love really shows through. I bet the kids at school were envious of their lifestyle. They are receiving a great education thanks to your input & discipline. Magic stuff team. Love following you. We're off to do the Sth. Island of NZ next year. We're well past the kids stage these days, but we love seeing young families out there having fun. Cheers

Ha! I remember the tides in Broom very well. I was there many years ago and went out diving with a local dive operator - in the time he took to put the boat in the water and then go and park the vehicle and trailer the incoming tide had already come in by 5 - 10 metres from where we were originally standing. The whole point to the dive was to catch the waters at the ebb, but because we were half an hour late the dive turned out to be one of the worst I've ever had - I was a divemaster back then with something like 400 dives up my sleeve! The current was so strong that we couldn't swim against it, but basically grabbed the rocks and sand on the bottom to drag ourselves 'upstream'.
Love the video clips - I only wish I could have done something similar with our kids while they were that young. Best of luck to you.

GLORIOUS..........once again a joy to watch your family living life to the top. have you been to the horizontal falls, we thought this was a big highlight on our trip back in 2015. one of our best spots is STREAKY, friends and fishing. We have been going there for the last 16years from Brissy, and a close second would have to be GLORIOUS BROOME. STAY SAFE AND KEEP SMILING. MAC

Another glorious video in a glorious part of the world, most of the milkiness in the water is due to the tidal flow n mangrove mud. There are heaps worse places to live, school certainly does become rut forming.

GLORIOUS. At the start of the video as soon as ya'z said the kids are starting school I turned to the other half and said Bec's gonna cry, hey Bec it's standard procedure of an awesome parent. Speaking of glorious, if Broome wasn't as glorious as it is I'm pretty sure you'z would still be heavily pissed about the diff rebuild,, OUCH!! that's a lotta beer and vodka. When we where up there we also wanted to live there but as ya'z know when those feet get itchy there's only one way to scratch'em. Thanks again for keeping my jealousy going with another cool video. Wow what GLORIOUS colours that part of Australia has. Broome is definitely on my bucket list for when I start travelling in a few years. Looks awesome.
