Hello everyone and welcome back to Age of Wonders 4! The Stranger continues his war against The Great Enemy Tugrum Hammerhall, taking both victories and losses. The Siege of Silverstrad at 42:00 was a particularly flawless victory, but I wanted to ask about its ultimate fate? After some debating at 53:39, I decided to absorb it as is, nomnom its territories, and then release it as a vassal, but can Tugrum's people be trusted? Tugrum solo-yoloing Stratholme provinces had me in stitches, kinda impressed with gigantic brass pair of this woman. The last 20 minutes of the episode are comedy gold. Yaka breaking through the Void itself to help Humanitas only to get yeeted back for his glory, tactical magic nuking, top-10 anime betrayals, feats of real friendship, hellspawn looking motherfuckers who just want to grill in their cave, enough events for a whole season of drama TV-show. Delightful.
So a city has fallen and quest failed while another war started. Will the Stranger show mercy to his ennemy's soul after killing them and razing their city? Lets see in the next episode. Thanks for the storytelling. ^^
The Stranger to Yaka: YEEEET!!! Also quite fitting that the mole who kept insultting Iratus would befriend his Nemesis (aside from stealing your waifu). I also feel like much like Iratus with his undead waifu harem, the Stranger is also trying to flex on us with the ladies (till the moleman steals them). Do you also plan to grab the Angel transformation for this run?
You know, that's actually a great point. Blint insulting Iratus *would* make him like The Stranger. That's now canon! :D Yes! The Major Race Transformation will be Angelize. (:
5:25 Vassal's "tier" basically means what level their city is, and they tend to have other infrastructure to match. I.e., a Tier IV vassal has the highest tier of the City Hall built, can recruit tier 3 units, etc., etc. Tier I vassal only has Tier I city hall, and in my experience - vassals usually don't increase their tier. At least I've never noticed them doing so.
I'll be keeping my eye on Bullerton to see if they increase their tier but I think you're right. It'd be nice to see some love given to the free cities.

I just wanted to say, I believe that Jonas the Strong is actually a woman. I recently had a hero with the female body type called Jonas as welll. But you can keep that as you want of course.
That's why I personally refer to people/characters with they/them pronouns if I don't know/am unsure on which ones would be appropriate for them. Just a good rule of thumb for me personally
Btw in aow3 you wouldn't get evil points for razing / purging undead cities, I don't know if it's the same in 4 .. Anyway that dwarf city wasn't undead yet, you basically saved them from becoming undead by their leader in the future 😅
Ohhhhh, I forgot about that! Probably because I almost exclusively played Undead near the end. XD Unfortunately, I don't think it works that way in AOW4 because technically the becoming Undead bit only affects your units. Even if you have a Wightborne race transformation, your city is still considered a regular city. It feels wrong. :c
You should get the race transformation animals speak if you haven't because it stack with everything else you have and if you do get it another thing that would work well with it is the hound master from the chaos tome because he the stranger will go and dable in necromancy because he does rise the sprites of old heroes so who is to say that he wouldn't dable in demonic rituals and lot of them have flame damage and undead typically don't like fire
If you mean animal kinship (units adjacent to an animal or cav gain +10% damage), I'm afraid the time has long passed to grab that tier 1 tome. I might come back for the Tome of Vigor (mega animal buffing tome) after the tier 5 Order Tome. In my opinion, the Stranger doesn't really utilize Necromancy. When he calls back the spirits, he returns sanctified heroes to their prime, almost temporarily rewinding their personal time with the power of Divinity or Faith or something to fulfill a specific purpose. However, I do agree with you that The Stranger would do anything for the Greater Good. That said, I'll be avoiding both Shadow and Chaos for the purpose of roleplaying this series.
I see in my play I didn't answer call for war for offensive war in defensive pact I am just giving them support with money basically just settle their grievance with me plus added bonus as a gift, it works well at least for 11 turn before the guy is losing and another Lord declared war on the dude and eventually dragging me into the war however in those 11 turn I am able to muster much bigger army and have better consolidated position.
Now that sounds like a tactical decision! I accepted because I was eventually going to declare on Nekron anyway, and this gave me full justification while cementing my friendship with the smug moleman. I don't think it was too bad of an idea, since Nekron can't reach me anyway, but I'm not sure I would repeat it in hindsight.
@@Fableheim well it just how I am dealing with the situation, I am watching let's play gameplay because everyone is unique and people can take different decision that's the attraction of watching let's play videos 😄. That's what I like watching you btw, me as viewers can give you some backseat advice but ultimately the decision is in your hand, in the end you handle things differently the results also vary and it is interesting to watch be it the result is good or bad.

Battle Summoned Units and Allies are great, because you don't have to worry about them being wounded, or dead at the end of Battle
It's really served me well to just have another unit out there, even if it's just a little troll tier 1. XD

@@Erligan I know you can learn previous Tier 3 tomes, but can you go lower after researching both tier 3 tomes of an affinity?
@@Fableheim yes you can, when you choosing your next tome, there is a button in bottom that changes your view, you can pick tomes from there.
