Hello everyone and welcome back to Age of Wonders 4! The Stranger marches upon Tugrum's capital city to begin my largest siege ever at 8:54, but this crusade against the Undead is not the only war going on. The Decaying Fields have become engulfed in conflict, but some times the world must be destroyed in order to be made anew. The Mistress of Spite's declaration of war at 1:01:06 wasn't surprising, but the responses to that declaration could shape our future allegiances for the rest of the series -- thanks for watching! Welcome back, ya evil git. 1:18:47
Some universal rules: Plants are weak to Fire and Blight, Fey are weak to Lightning and Blight, Ethereal are weak to Lightning, Fiends are weak to Spirit and Frost, and Celestial are weak to Blight and Frost. Personal resistances and certain modifiers can also come in to play, so I'd recommend checking out the Age of Wonders 4 database for specific instances: minionsart.github.io/aow4db/HTML/CelestialUnits.html?type=lightbringer&
Now that I think about it, Tugrum's descent into darkness and forbidden necromancy as an industrialist is remarkably similar to Dragon Age Origins with the dwarves and Anvil of the Void, and it's fascinating that she does that a second time. It's also funny that she is the only pre-generated ruler without any biography by the devs, and she turned out to be the most interesting of them all. Also, the Justice really said "Fuck all y'all, I'm a hippie now" and went on a grass-touching spree instead of aiding her master.
Ohhh, that's a really good point! I loved going Anvil of the Void, but shutting Braka's mouth permanently was always so tempting. The Incorruptible Justice may need to be an ally through more... forceful methods.
Yaka: "I am inevitable." Little hint i got from watching other content creators is that there is a tome of Geomancy or terra-something that allows you to break mountains wich migh be usefful to you.
I’m not really getting your frustration with the Incorruptible Justice at this early stage of the game. She’s giving you grievances that you can forgive and get points for being good. You’re many many turns from needing her to be your ally at the end of the game. I would focus on killing your real enemies now and just take the grievances she’s giving you as the free good points. Edit: You mentioned something that I think will happen. As you get more powerful and eliminate many of the other leaders she will probably be ready to be your ally so she can win too. The AOW ai has done this in many of the previous versions of the games I have played.
My frustration at the time was less about what she's doing (AI has always been weird) and more that I designated her as my "I'm bringing you to the finish line with me" and am now back to square one in achieving that pre-set goal. Don't worry, I'll make her see the error of her ways... one way or another. (: In my experience, the AI will either be all too willing to alliance it up for the W or feel so threatened by me that she'll refuse everything. I'll be taking bets on which one it is when we get to that point. :D
@@Fableheim I think if you keep forgiving her grievances, keep her friendly and in a defensive pact then she will be your ally at the end. I would not try denouncing her.
@@barrym2112 The denouncing thought was more of a hypothetical, incase I do have to end up going to war with her, to prevent Blint and Sally from being dragged in. I think you're right, but we'll see what the AI has in store.
You could just release Silverstrad as a Vassal and simply ignore them. Get a better city and tax the rest. All you need from Vassals are gold, knowledge and mana, and you mostly get this from buildings. So who cares if they have enough space to expand.

Seems like Tugrum's fate is to be decided in the next episode.
Thanks for the storytelling. ^^
Been busy this past few days and I just finished watching this episode. Blint the smugface boi is really the MVP! lol
Blint was the real friend all along. XD
Tugrim didn't turn her race Wightborn - she just had a Wightborn hero who was a dwarf of a different race
Ahhhh.... well, she was going to!
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. (:
I enjoy this because I get to vicariously play through you.
So undead are weak to spirit and fire, what other strength/weaknesses are there, I can't find it anywhere

Your pro gamer move is an awesome idea. And also historically accurate, very similar things have been done to party's that lost wars.
They shall survive the Undead purge... under my watchful eye! (:
Can't wait to watch more these episodes cannot come quick enough

I know that Tome exists but I've never taken it before. I might get a chance to try it out soon, when the back research begins. (:
14:58 See, she'll do it for Blint but not for you. All the ladies want his underdelver 😏
While that may be true, she eventually downgrades her full alliance with Blint too. I think she just hates Alliances.
The AI does cast during autobattle, it only shows the reduction in mana after you accepted the result.
Ahhhh, thanks! I'll have to watch closer next time. (:
There is also a spell that deal damage (wrath of the faitfull) based on the amount of faitfull unit on the map (max 50 spirit dmg).
Yep, I did pick it up but I didn't know it had a cap -- thanks for letting me know!
