Such high rise buildings should have dtcp approval and local panchayat can approve only small projects. Not sure what safety norms will be followed in these cases.
Sir. Bashyam is constructing Excello is constructing in Mevallurkuppam panchayat now QR or some one buildings are comming up. Any thing can happen now . Why Suprabath retirement community is in mevallurkuppam. Has muti story buildings . All rules are for poor people and wage earners only .
Jain's builder is no one fraud. Sandeep Mehta is a unethical person. Even we in other Jain's also faced so many issues we had to fight tooth & nail. Left our building also halfway through. Very politically influenced. Never give up don't get carried away by his words he will try to convince u but pl don't bend to his words
The residents should sign a petition together and file multiple fir's against the builder. Repairing the building is of no use, when the fault lies in basic structural integrity. No amount of renovation or repair is going to solve the fundamental problem. The only solution would be for government to intervene and move residents elsewhere. Then get the building demolished completely. Owners must be given full compensation of every penny invested in this useless property by the builder. Builder and liable people should be penalized severely for this. They are playing with lives of people. Shame on the builder !!
I think Maveeran movie was inspired from this. But jokes apart builders now are not like the builders ten years ago. They are using hollow blocks which does not support the beams and pillars properly. Hope we don’t experience another Moulivakkam incident again.

What will the builders do when they are forced to shell out free flats to CMDA corrupt officials who demand fully furnished flats as bribe. Corporation, Metrowater, sewage connection , TNEB each 1 to 2 lacs per flat connection and finally a grand amount to registration department. If one sums up the total corruption money paid, it may be more than the basic flat cost.
Real estate is dwindling due to exorbitant prices, with such unethical business house delivering poor grade house is sucking away all the confidence from people.
I am into construction field and i can tell that there is an issue either in the design of the load bearing members or the concrete is very poor quality. The residents better move out of that wretched place and initiate legal proceedings against the builder.
At our dilapidated DDA flat in Janakpuri, New Delhi, a similar situation exists, with portions of the ceiling having collapsed in all the rooms, cracks extending from the ceiling to the floor surfacing, and rustification taking place in each reinforcement steel rod.
Please come out.....please...it may fall anytime .. because of load the structure couldn't resist..poor reinforcement and poor quality of concrete....pls come out
In india you can not easily get compensation from builders. There is no quality check machanism. The case will take years. Roof itself is falling means poor quality cement and rods and mixing more sand. Roof falling is dangerous
For construction we are buying lorry water, because in our site water is not good. We are very small builders, we are buying water for construction, why can't these business man buy. But, people trust these fellows only.
we bought the Jains Anabelle construction in Adayar the quality of Jains is very poor no water proofing done in all the bathrooms of every flats ...they keep fleecing customers cracks in ceiling walls structural pillars time that govt housing authorities have a check on the same all flat owners have spent several lakhs for repairing
The real problem is here because of the humongous price hike on land & building, Chennai city can be extended easily apart from east side, This is not mumbai where there is shortage of land and to construct highrise apartments, For chennai population 8 floor apartment is more than enough
Local roads are such a pain with potholes and what not. NH with my travel in the southern states has been brilliant though there is scope for improvement. Certain NH, which is not a by-pass will merge in the city limits and that can have issues, and thanks to brilliant state politicians who will make every penny go in thin air.

They have two project in Bangalore. There offering price is slightly less than the market price. Both project are approx 9-10 years old and still multiple flats available for sale in them. They mentioned it was delayed due to covid 19. Please suggest if jain housing is reliable to consider or they are known bad builder with low quality construction work. Only reason they like swimming pool garden play area for their own purpose for their children's in future . So every buyer hereafter should consider before sign agreement quality of builder in construction work and cmda matter with good talented advocate help . For this building matter please consider with legal rights matter with senior advocate help, there is someway to get your expenditure or investment Suppose if I bought this apartment 8 yrs before I will think noe to vacate this bld area to save my life instead of living in danger with family inside . Criminal action should be taken against the builder and the contractor. Hard earned money of the house owners should be refunded
