Wow Roger, what an amazing video. You've captured the beauty of the hauraki gulf at its best with its picturesque anchorages and innumerable islands...and to find the whale & calf on your screen - truly we are blessed to live in this corner of the planet - thanks for your maritime videos Roger & greetings from the deep south
Beautiful. Inspiring. Gotta say again....those drone shots take it to the next level. Well done. I hope to be out there next summer for similar activities.
Thanks Rodger, beautiful photography and well crafted video. Morning Cloud and crew are heading to her new home in Opua but via Barrier beginning of March so your video has further increased the anticipation of 2 weeks cruising. Every time I watch the your videos of your South Pacific 42 motion through the water I feel the motion of mine. It is clear that every design has a unique motion through the water. First noticed this watching your trip to the Islands a few years ago especially your shots in heavier weather. cheers Michael
Thanks Michael, hope you enjoy the Barrier in March. Are you moving to Opua permanently? More and more people seem to be heading out of Auckland. Enjoy your trip.
Thank you Roger for a beautiful video. What a gorgeous production. I loved this, and with a significant birthday coming up later this year, my wife & I are likely to visit the North Island as part of the celebration. I think we'll now be visiting Great Barrier while we're there . . .

Glad you enjoyed the video - we are indeed so lucky to have our Hauraki Gulf. Cheers

Well worth the effort to get there if you have time. Flights are pretty regular and a fast way to travel.
