Hello, thank you for your tests. I have a favor to ask you. It would be possible for you to do a test with this Nexus Standard MP v3. The challenge would be to detect a bronze or silver coin under 3 iron nails, then the same thing but with the coin 5 centimeters under the nails on the surface then 10 centimeters. That would be very interesting. I hope the translation will be correct. Thanks in advance

@@krillnaar9148 thanks for watching my videos, respectfully I don’t want to be involved in becoming a Metal Detector test channel. Those type of set up tests don’t interest me. I’m providing a link to Paul Warren’s channel, his V3 playlist where he’s conducted so many tests. Kind regards.

A very nice hunt with the V3......
What kind of batteries are you using?

@@alanboone9883 if you’re referring to when I mention, I’m charging the batteries the battery on my Insta360 video camera, the video camera batteries don’t last as long as my hunts.
In my Nexus machines, I use rechargeable Nicad batteries 2800 mAh, EBL co. I buy on Amazon. My hunts are normally 6 to 8 hours and I’ve never seen the batteries get really low. I just recharge them after every hunt.

@@DigginDude-vt8sx Didn't mean to be vague with my question...... I was wondering what AA batteries you are using in your V3....... It must require a large capacity charger as well.

Do these have a head phone jack? Might be okay out in a pasture but for heavens sakes why not if not. They want over two grand in US. And they can't offer basic things?

@@JD-ev1uj no they do not come with wireless headphones. That was not a dealbreaker for me, I am more interested in the performance of the machine. Quite frankly, the only time the corded headphones really get in the way is when I’m trying to make a video which is secondary to me, i’m out detecting more than I’m making videos. I am more interested in trying to find hard to detect targets in difficult conditions. There are many detectors on the market that provide Bluetooth wireless and radio frequency wireless headphones that may be more suitable for you. There are also some wireless headphone options that can be added to any detector that is not wireless. Thanks for watching.

@@benrjohansen OK tough question because it depends on where you hunt. But, read carefully if you’re going to buy only one for USA. I prefer the V2 because of the iron reject switch. I hunt heavily iron polluted sites. It is monotone with a dual tone option that you can choose on the machine. But I prefer hunting in the monotone(all metal) with iron reject on. The discrimination dial determines what you discriminate out. I normally set mine to discriminate out small foil. I carry a couple nails with me and tiny piece of foil. Set my discrimination at the ground. I’m hunting on, you’ll get used to it. Machine must be ground bounced at every site Mrs. important and why they are able to seek extremely deep items.
