I'll be looking through a 15 lb bag of Foreign Silver Coins, or World Coins. I will get them sorted by country and by denomination to see what we picked up in this lot of foreign silver coins. Let's see how we do! Keep hunting and good luck! They're still out there for us to find! Thanks for watching! I'm pretty sure that 99% of us viewers would eagerly sit through atleast an hour of the more detailed hunt that I know you couldn't give us on this go around. If you post it, they will come. 👍
Glad that you saved all of this silver from being melted. Crazy to realize how many cool coins are probably still being melted on a regular basis. Even cull Morgans have a numismatic premium worth more than their silver weight. I would love a closer look at the Canadian silver dollars. The Voyageur design is one of my favorites, not to mention the totem pole and goose dollars too. If you do another purchase like this, it would be great to see 2-3 videos made out of it. It’s a refreshing break from nickel and cent hunting.
Always like seeing the Canadian stuff! I was working in the Royal Canadian Mint (Winnipeg) on the day they officially switched from Queen Elizabeth to King Charles.
Awesome video, nice to see the foreign silvers. I have some from Australia and New Zealand that my Dad brought back from WW2. Nothing worth much but he and his brother were very young marines fighting on Guadalcanal. I did not appreciate what they went through over there. Dad earned a purple heart and uncle Steve came back shell shocked. Both are long gone but I am really grateful Dad turned me on to collecting coins when I was a kid. I'm glad he left me enough to spark my interest so many years later. Miss you Dad!
Wow - that was an amazing bag of foreign silver coins! I would love to be able to buy a bag like that! I bet that was a lot of fun! That was a sweet video!
7:32 I know it well. 50 Schillings Austria till 1973 are in 900 silver (18 grams fine silver). 1974 or younger in 640 silver. 25 Schillings Austria are in 800 silver (10,4 grams fine silver).
*Just WOW! This was so mind-blowing to watch. That's an extraordinary haul of foreign silver coins. One of the best videos on UA-cam and I love it Rob! Please do some other, more detailed, videos about this awesome purchase.*
Good luck with the 1973 Large Shoulder Fold quarter, Rob. They were only ever made in collector sets for that year, and I’ve only ever seen 2 in my entire life at coin shows and my own local coin shop. Great video as usual!
Awesome haul! I have to mention that the word "thaler" is actually pronounced "tah-ler" (rhymes with dollar). It's where the word "dollar" comes from. 🙂
Wow! Loved that video. I'm putting together Canadian albums myself and just starting collecting French coins. I actually have a 1973 Fleur De Coins (birth year) set in for ANACS grading.
Would love to see another video. I would like to know info that you might share as well. I don’t know much about foreign coins and slowly learning Canadian coins at the moment.
Pretty darn cool. Just before Christmas, I bought a small lot of foreign silver (much much smaller than yours) dating from the mid 1800's to ww2 era. The majority from Europe. The designs are very interesting to look at. Then it's fun to research them and learn the silver content, etc. Originally, they were going to be a Christmas present, but I liked them to much. 😅
Awesome video. The large Mexican coin is commemorating the 75th year anniversary of the crowning of the Virgen de Guadalupe. Can't wait for the continuation video of the rest of the world coins. Happy Hunting 😃
This world coin maniac is positively drooling over this video! Would love to see some of the individual countries highlighted a bit more closely. Doesn't have to be all at once! This could be a new series of videos!
hey Rob! not sure if the 1884 5c was added to your collection today in this silver lot or previously but thought I would letcha know its a valuable coin in any grade. cheers!
What a great video, so much foreign silver! I'm not an expert on foreign coins, but sure there are some really good ones in there. Nice purchase! You had Charlanis approval before making that purchase? Lol
I love world silver coins. They are my favorite to collect.Ther is so many countries to collect.I would like to see a video on the rest of the collection.
Heck yea we want to see the break down of all the coins. Finding a deal in US coins is getting as rare as finding good US coins anymore. Id love to learn about coins of value from around the world.
Nice bunch of Foreign. Last foreign silver I got was a 1950 Canadian dime in the Coinstar. Today I got something for the 1st time in 42 1/2 years of coin roll hunting. A whole roll of dimes in a penny wrapper!! I guess some lost $4.50 selling it but I gained $4.50! Only 2 wheats though but I could only get $5 of coins at my bank today.
I just noticed there was 60 dimes in that penny wrapper! That’s why it looked as long as a penny roll because a normal dime roll is shorter than a normal penny roll.
The big Mexican coin with Mary on one side is a commemorative 75th anniversary of the coronation of the queen of Mexico, fwiw. I can't find any information on it, but that's a start.
Dude this would be a blast going through 😁 I hope someone can identify what the large Mexican "medallion ??" is about. That looks really cool. I always wanted some proof Thalers...you see them everywhere, i just never took the opportunity to buy any. I love its larger size. But alas, it's not a Morgan dollar so i can't allow funds for them ;-) Been looking for this one since the tease on Instagram !!

The word thaler is more or less pronounced "taller."

I certainly would
I would also, always interesting to see what other countries had. Esp since so many of their coins now, are junk
I would definitely watch that.
I'd love to learn about foreign silver myself
YES!!!! More content!!!!
Literally a treasure hunt. I'd love to see the in-depth Canadian/Mexican search.

I love how cool old silver looks, and how unique the designs are. I love the world coin hunt videos.
Awesome video, nice to see the foreign silvers. I have some from Australia and New Zealand that my Dad brought back from WW2. I've gotten into world silver alot over the past 8 months, and you have so many I'd love to have, congrats my friend
I've started last year and I'm loving it. What a journey has been. Not high value silver coins but for me it's a start. :)
@@NandiCollector definitely, when I first started collecting coins I had no interest in foreign silvers, but I got a few in a trade, then I was hooked

Wow - that was an amazing bag of foreign silver coins! I would love to be able to buy a bag like that! I bet that was a lot of fun! That was a sweet video!
Always enjoy seeing the top valued ones to offset the purchase price of the bag. Thanks!!!😊❤
I love it! I am not big on foreign coins, but I do hold onto them. Seeing the different designs is fun.

15:00 For this collection you should have the Lindner coin storage system from Germany/Switzerland! 😌
Great buy and Hunt! I would not be opposed to a longer more detailed video on these world currency hunts.
I could watch a LONG form video of such a WONDERFUL TREASURE HUNT!!!!!
Great different video, I too have gotten bit by the foreign coin bug. So much history and designs to research and enjoy. Please do more.
14:00 the dutch coins are from the Amsterdam sail event and are commemorative coins(tokens not real currency also not silver)
7:32 I know it well. 50 Schillings Austria till 1973 are in 900 silver (18 grams fine silver). 1974 or younger in 640 silver. 25 Schillings Austria are in 800 silver (10,4 grams fine silver).

Great world bag of silver! Love the varieties and information!
Crazy to think all that was gonna be melted. I love foreign silver. Makes you wonder how much gets melted each year
Yeah, many of those coins demands a premium even in somewhat heavy circulated condition😢
Good luck with the 1973 Large Shoulder Fold quarter, Rob. They were only ever made in collector sets for that year, and I’ve only ever seen 2 in my entire life at coin shows and my own local coin shop. Great video as usual!
This was an amazing hunt! That was tons of fun to see all of those coins!!

You are one busy guy Rob. That was a load to sort, and a nice load indeed. All this, on top of everything else. Don't overdue it man.....
Another fun and informative video. That Hawaiian dime was a nice find.
Awesome haul! I have to mention that the word "thaler" is actually pronounced "tah-ler" (rhymes with dollar). It's where the word "dollar" comes from. 🙂
8:06 On top a 1 swiss franc in 835 silver (uncirculated 4,175 grams fine silver). I have plenty of it.
I found this really interesting. I’d like to see more of the foreign coins. The Canadian Nicole’s seemed funny with the dimes being bigger.

Watched the video, said "wow" about a dozen times.
Happy Hunting

I’d be interested seeing the Canadian coins. But, as always it was a great video. Thanks.
It pains me to think they have been melting this stuff. This is all the stuff I search for and collect.
Very cool & very interesting
