LOVE how straight forward this video is. Not too much extra conversation, very informative and concise. Thank you.
Thank you. You do an amazing job. You also teach well without us having to watch for an our for No reason. That is the other reason I am a supporter of yours. Thank you for all you do keep up the great work.
Love you video learn alot from them love you craft room 🤩😍
So nicely done. To the point and not wasting any time. Thank you!
Yes I agree. Not alot of none sense talking. I love this video
Holli thanks for posting this video. I have been making poured paint projects for a couple of years and just started working with epoxy, alcohol inks and glitter on tumblers. The combination on a geode tumbler the way you describe it just seems natural. Everyone who sees these tumblers loves them and I love making them in lots of color combinations. No two are ever the same. They sell themselves as people who see them in use ask about acquiring one. Your video was well done, Holli, clear and precise about the sequence of steps. Wonderful work.
Beautiful!
Loved this. I was just talking to my husband about doing layers just like this and bam, this morning I found your tutorial.
On another note, I've put off doing the dirty pours but you make it look so easy that I'm subscribing to your tutorials and trying this when I get home! Thank you so much!
It took me 20 minutes to pick my jaw up off the floor!! This is absolutely stunning. I've seen many of these tumblers, I'm just started doing tumblers here and there for practice and I was terrified to try this until I watched your video. You are so amazingly talented!
Oh my goodness, what a huge compliment!! THANK YOU!!

Thank you!! Don’t be terrified, you will make something beautiful!!
Nice could I use any glitter or its particular glitter I need ?
So beautiful 😍😍😍
Thank you!!
I literally can’t deal! Like omg! I need this in my life!!!!!!!!!! Do you have a video that shows what happens if the cup doesn’t spin?
I've done cups before I got a spinner. The cuptisserie makes it a lot easier.
Love this!! would I need to seal the acrylic paint with anything before adding the epoxy over top or can I put it directly over the dirty pour?
Awesome video!! Can I sand my epoxy before I do the dirty pour?
I love it.
I'm new to this and I am waiting to make one with photos do you know how to go about that? Thank you
Would love to know the colors you used for the brown tumbler.
I habe a few questions. I haven't attempted to make one yet, so I simply don't know...
First, was that a coat of spray paint, or a layer of mod podge prior to the glitter?
Second, can I still tape off say, the bottom and around the lip, prior to the glitter application?
Third, if I tape off, will I need to remove the tape before adding the acrylic, or even the epoxy over coat? Furthermore, when would be the best time to remove the tape?
Fourth, what was in the bottle used to expose areas of the glitter?
Fifth, any suggestions on how to make a motorized spinning rod like she had?!
...i think that's all my questions for now lol
Did you just do one coat of epoxy before you painted? Love this cup!
Thanks so much for this video. I love it and the colors ♥️♥️ #craftlifefamily
Tanicka Hall ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Have you ever put a vinyl decal on prior to the pour and the peeled it after the paint dried?
If some paint is hanging down from the lid/rim once its all dry, any tips on removing it so it does not mess anything up?
Are those regular acrylic paints?
This is beautiful! I have a question. When you did the spray paint at the first of the tutorial, did you use the epoxy method after that to apply the glitter or does it matter since after the glitter is on, you're using epoxy to seal it? I'd actually rather use an epoxy method with glitter but I do have some cups I use mod podge on.
Lisa Busch it doesn’t matter so much, just do what works best for you! I prefer loctite. I’m so happy you enjoyed, and I am so thankful for your compliments in your other comment!! ❤️❤️
Would alcohol break down the paint? To brighten up the glitter?
Can you share what colors were used in the darker cup in the background in the video?
can you do this on an acrylic or plastic tumbler? like a clear Tervis cup?
Do you need to use a stainless steel or would a plastic one work?
Love the look!
Becky lopez plastic would work, but you would need to tape off to make sure you don’t get any paint inside. It doesn’t clean as easily as stainless ☺️
@@HolliMostella what u can do is rub mod podge on the inside let it dry repeat if any point or epoxy get inside just peel
Did you apply the glitter with modge podge? And then did you seal the glitter?
Could you use flotrol or silicone to get cells
Did you seal seal glitter before applying epoxy?
Can a metallic and or glow in the dark paint be used?
Do you have to use a special kind of spray paint?
after Putting epoxy on my glitter layer the top isn’t smooth in some spots. Will you be able to see that over the paint ?
Yes you will be able to see the rough spots. I'd sand first then epoxy again with a thin layer first.
I couldn't find acetone will finger nail polish 100% acetone work?
Yes it's what I use
does it have to be 100% acetone?
do you apply thin coat of epoxy
Your football looks different is it sprayed or coated?
I have a dumb question that I can’t find an answer for. My epoxy tumbler was about three hours into curing. My son dropped a paper plate onto it. Can I save the cup or is it a total loss?
Sorry I’m late!! It would be fixable! Were you able to save it?
Holli Mostella I was able to! I put another coat of epoxy while it was tacky, it filled in the holes and it as smooth as can be! ☺️
Haley Barnitz perfect!! I’m so happy it was an easy fix!
Love the colors AND your video. I hate incessant talking!
How do I order?!
This is a bad way to thin your paints.
Beautiful!
