this was filmed over a weird bit of time in my life and looking at it now a lot of this feels cringey or obnoxious, mostly because i felt very outside myself while filming this, but i know im also my biggest critic so here's the vlog that im halfway proud of :')
Cari you conveyed excellently the deeply felt, complex and human emotions and thoughts that so many of us are living with right now. Your speaking out about all the polarisation that has created such fear and hatred of "others" was so welcome, we need people to just express their humanity. With all the wars and destruction that is taking place on this planet I am so grateful to the students around the world who are standing up for those who have been silenced. It is such a crazy time and let me thank you for being so open about yourself and condolences for your loss of another precious person. We are all over-whelmed by the content we are seeing and yes we have found that carefully curating what we consume has been very helpful for the heart and mind and sleep. Sending much love to you and Kurt.
I thought you were authentic and sharing your views, not trying to ram them down anyone else's throat (which I often find hard to do in this political climate). Please don't hold back - your words were good and insightful.
Hi cari, i am a university student in sri lanka who has been looking for a oppotunity to learn interior design. I found many courses but i couldnt effort it. I have got selected in to your skillshare first fivehundrad and i am so happy that i can learn them. Thank you very much 🥰. My wish is you to learn easily what you love. Thank you again.❤
I'm so grateful that Cari has a sweet tooth- the casual sweets in all the vlogs make me so excited and happy. Also the dog obsession is much appreciated 🥰🥰🥰 the border collie at the door of the cafe is too adorable - "Come in! Come to my cafe! 🐕"
Your videos are the highlight of my weekend and I feel very confident you could never be obnoxious or cringey. You should be very proud of your products because you're one of the best vloggers I've ever seen. Thanks for everything, Cari! Hope you and Kurt are doing well!
I've been watching your vlogs consistently ever since I was 15, and I'm 21 now! No matter what content you put out, I will always watch and support you, and I'm sure many others will. No matter what level of vulnerability or "cringyness", we will always be here. We absolutely love you and what you create, and we're proud of you. I hope you and Kurt are doing well.
my husband as a photographer often sparks up conversation with people from all different walks of life and it is always so interesting that he can just- listen to them. their belief systems, what they care about, and even find similarities within those beliefs. we have more in common than we think. sadly a lot of people fall into darkness without realizing it thus creating more divisiveness.
Your vlogs are so soothing. You have a way of speaking that’s eloquently spoken in a soft gentle voice. Thank you Cari for being the voice we need to hear. 💛🌼
I was actually in awe when Clarice's book poped up, I'm from Brazil and I know that she is a really well known writer but I never saw anyone outside my buble reading it! I hope you like it 🥰
Every Sunday morning, I make myself comfortable in bed and watch your new vlog. Personally, I love a good mixture out of walks, cafés, and you talking to us. Absolutely obsessed with your videos. They are so comforting
I'm sorry for your loss, Cari. I hope the good memories of them last forever. Hugs to you and Kurt. It's sometimes so much worse when it's just out of the blue. I can sadly relate a little bit; I was scarily close to losing my mother unexpectedly right around this same time. (She's recovering nicely now.)
I really applaud you for trying to expand your realm of understanding towards others because it's SO IMPORTANT 😭. Personally, I've been blankly rejected many a time for my opinions which really does hurt no matter which side you're on, and it is so prevalent nowadays that those with differing opinions automatically view you as bad which is AWFUL. Think for yourself, see the other side, and don't let stupid prejudice cause you to hurt others, or spread hate like it is doing way too much of right now
I always giggle when cari shows food because she typically does a few pans then a final shake of the drink/dessert/bowl. It is like a silent "Look at this! yum!" it's so characteristic of her vlogging style
Hi Cari, I first discovered u in 2020. I was 14 year old, alone in a foreign country due to covid, and not well mentally & physically. Your vlogs, your vulnerability and sincerity in front of the camera were such a stable source of comfort for me. Your vlogs made me realize that there is joy in small things in life. So thank you, and reserve some kindness for yourself for all the kindness you have given to us.
Your videos come out at night for me, so the first thing in the morning on Sunday I watch your videos in bed (sometimes with a cup of coffee and my cat sleeping on my legs) and get so much needed positive energy for the whole day ❤
CARI! OMG! A few months back I went down the SAME rabbit hole watching that guy who travels around the US to random towns…and his Appalachia videos and the hollows! It was fascinating! It was all very new to me.
The first 4 minutes of this video already relaxed me and I had to stop because I have to write and meet a deadline and I'm telling myself continuing this video will be my reward after I finish writing. Yes, that's me convincing myself. Thanks as always, Cari for a lovely start to Sunday.
Hour of the Star is one of those classic books you read in high school here in Brazil, so it's really cool seeing this. Here we also have that stereotype of people posting aesthetic pictures with her books but never really reading them, it's funny how that's something not exclusive to Brazil. I remember not really liking the book when I read it, but again, required reading in high school, so it's not really surprising. I should try and read it again now that it isn't homework anymore, Clarice has a really distinct writing style. Also, more brazilian author recommendations: Machado de Assis and Jorge Amado are also classics here and they're awesome. There's a ton more, but those are ones I really like and they probably have a lot of books translated to english.
i do not write messages often but i decided to do it this time. cari, thank you so much for the light you put in this world, i am so grateful for your existence. the way you film your videos and your personality, puts me at ease. in a world that goes too fast, you are a breath of fresh air, thank you for that. 많은 사랑~ (1:59 kim namjoon ?)
We love you Cari the way you are!! With the ups and downs of life.. we love you in all your states. I will always root for you❤❤❤ thank you again and again for existing on this platform... May your coming days be filled with ease and peace 😊😊
Related to Appalachia, I recommend checking out “The Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek” if you’re interested in learning more about the history/culture from a historical fiction standpoint. It’s a really interesting, heartbreaking read.
My dad and I watch Peter Santenello’s videos frequently, we find them so insightful and educational on various areas and the people living there, and at times I’ve never heard of these places (I’m from the UK). It’s literally our bonding time when we watch them😂 and we have interesting conversations about the people he comes across and how they impact the places they’re living due to certain mindsets and morals.
Cari you always make my sundays a big treat, and i love when you "talk our ears of"😉You have a true gift, you show the beauty in the everyday wherever you are!!! And you and Kurt you just continue to take your time, grief goes in waves and all you can do is let it come and go,cry, remember them with gratitude and lots of love... We are so with you💖💞🫂🕯Warm hugs coming your way♾💟
Hi Cari! 😊 Just wanted to say that I’ve been following your channel for years now and you’ve been one of my comfort places on the Internet all this time.. so thank you for that! As a fellow ‘91 liner, it’s really inspiring to see the community you’ve built here.. I finally decided to start my own UA-cam channel at 33.. hopefully I can become a comfort place for others like me too :)
Dónde están los ladrones?? Wow Cari!! That would have never crossed my mind, ever! Love you even more for this, not even crossover Shaki but early Spanish album Shaki! Yay!! As a Colombian myself I 100% appreciate this ❤️
I so agree with what you are saying about trying to see the humanity in all people! People having differing opinions is not the problem, and everyone is absolutely entitled to their beliefs. The problem is when they stop talking and shut others down because they aren't open to a respectful conversation, and we lose that vital human connection. I wish people had more genuine, regulated discourse instead of hating on each other and seeing who can shout their opinions the loudest. Bad things happen when humans stop talking with each other.
Domain of science makes a ton of maps based on a theme (like botanicals, apocalipse, black holes etc) and they are very informational and well thought out. He puts a ton of time in them and brings it across in a simple and understandable way
OMG i have been listening to the spark 😂 its def a banger! Thank you for the long form content recommendation. I hope that you are having a great week Cari 🌲🌳🌻
This vlog was so special. Thank you for sharing the pain you’re going through along side the beautiful day to day moments. I loved all those shots of the breeze or fan gently blowing things. It was so calm like a ghibli film. All the shots of the dog and his little paws 🥺
What a perfect Sunday morning I just had. Fresh croissants, lemon marmalade and a completely and totally lovely Cari cakes vlog! I hope that you have just as nice of a day when you're reading this. 🧡
Carie, this video is so beautiful and transparent. Firstly, I’m sorry for your loss and kurt’s, I hope your hearts are being comforted! I understand what you were saying about communicating with people who has perspectives that are divergent from ours. Right now I am going through this kind of situation and I see how this can be challenging, but also necessary to see people beyond the preconceived ideas we have about them. I also so happy (almost teary) seeing that you read Clarice Lispector! She is one of my favorite writers, and one of my first contact with literature. Love, from Brazil! :) 🫂
Thank u for keeping it real and not sugar coating how you feel. Always better to know the truth than you just trying to act out of character. Also, sorry for your loss. And I'm sure everyone understands you taking some time to deal.
Hello cari ❤ Your new flat looks so pretty ❤ I think you could give it a more cute caffe vibe by hanging more pictures/ framed artwork and plants on shelves - that would be absolutely lovely Channels I could recommend to learns about different styles of living would be: Jona Jinton - a painter and silversmith who lives with there husband in northern Sweden ❤ I watch her for years and her videos are so sweet and relaxing
Grief is not easy to deal with, hope you feel better soon , be kind to yourself at those times🫶 Your videos are very comforting,it's like catching up with an old friend. Also loved that tshirt near the end of the video, lots of love from 🇬🇷💙
I was just bingwatching your videos, because they bring so much comfort to my day! I just want to thank you just for the love and effort that you put on your vlogs and book videos!! 🥹🫶
❤❤❤ thank you always, Cari. Even though you had a rough time during filming this vlog, this was so soothing and comforting to watch. I really needed to hear some of the stuff you've said. thank you for being here, this truly means a lot ⭐️
I definitely think there's an importance in staying curious and gentle in regards to differing opinions. We're told to accept everyone, but I find when differing religions or politics enter the chat, that acceptance often stops. I think that's such a missed opportunity to be kind, to be curious, and to find a friend despite those differences. (One of my closest friends has an entirely different religion to mine, yet we're content to 'agree to disagree' and have been friends for nearly a decade). That's what I wish I saw happen more often with differing opinions. 💛
I think it made sense what you were saying about talking to people you would usually avoid. We all need to get out of our own echo chamber a bit more when possible, absolutely. And social media and it's algorithms are just making the whole echo chamber effect worse 😵💫 lovely video as always, thank you 🥰
I’m sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to move forward when it feels like everything should just stop. Take care of yourself and thank you for letting us see this glimpse beyond the usual of your life. ❤
I do love a yapping vlog. In fact I can say that probably I like to hear you yap even more than you like yapping. Also, you make me wish I went back to being a book girlie (used to read tons, now I can't read a book to save my life). I miss putting my mind to work the way that only reading can achieve. Maybe I'll get around to it, soon I hope. Beautiful vlog as always. ♥
Not exactly the same, but your discussion of others' perspectives and specifically Appalachia reminded me of the Soft White Underbelly channel. He interviews all sorts of people who don't usually seem to get to share their stories, and while a lot of the videos are quite sad or at least heavy they always give me a lot to think about. I can't remember if you've mentioned the channel before but I wouldn't be surprised. I love a yappy vlog! One of my favorite things to do on my chill Saturdays is watch your vlog(s), and talkative ones are always welcome. (And I'm also obsessed with that Spark song LOL.)
As a Korean American, female, hetero, retired police officer, I am about ALL lives matter including blue, black, latinos, lgtbq and etc. I appreciate that your initial inclination was to dismiss the video of the people with the blue lives matter t-shirts but then stopped and listened to their prospectives. I think this world has a chance to survive and become better because of people like you who are open to conversations and are not close minded to their own beliefs for the greater good. Keep spreading the good messages!
But the issue with the blue lives or all lives matter movement is that it started as a reaction to the Black Lives Matter movement. Imagine showing up at a breast cancer fundraiser event and trying to silence the attendees by saying "but ALL cancer matters." No one is saying any one life doesnt matter, but it was a movement that was shining a light on the Black experience in the US and the 'all lives matter' movement started with the goal of shutting that converstation down. I understand what you think you're saying, but you are taking it completely out of context. By saying all lives matter you are, in a way, saying the opposite.
@@caricakes I hear you. The black lives matter did highlight some tragic injustices made by a small minority of uneducated and stupid police officers-the bad apples. I think it's really a societal ill that places people of all color in lower social and economic circumstances that lead them to commit crimes, have poorer health, lower education, low end jobs and these conditions go on and on for generations. And, if you read about history worldwide, many races and ethnicities have been and still are mistreated, dominated and brutalized. Their lives matter. They are asians, whites, browns, jews, etc. Their lives matter too. That's where I'm coming from. I sympathize with all colors and ethnicities.
Like I said, I understand what you believe and I'm with you - everyone deserves the right to love, happiness, and safety. But what I'm saying specifically about the blue lives matter movement and the all lives matter movement is that it is inherently anti-Black. It was created with an anti-Black agenda. So standing with that movement is actively standing against an entire group of people. That's why my guard immediately goes up when I hear "all lives..." You can say that you want all people to be uplifted and protected, but dont do it with a blue lives matter shirt, you know?
I got a steaming mop almost 2 years ago and it is a game changer! I love using it😁😍 and I love how you don't need any other product to go with it. It's just water!😅
you're a strength and comfort for many so I'm so glad that you have us to lean on too when grief or heartbreak comes. We will support you and bring you comfort as well~ Thank you for your openness and showing the beauty even in heartbreak
I’m a fairly new subscriber and I ABSOLUTELY loved this vlog! I appreciate the chatty vlog and the stream of consciousness. It feels like it allows us to get to know you more and your way of thought. Love it! ❤❤❤ and so sorry for your loss ❤❤
Life can be so bittersweet, especially when we have unexpectedly unsaid farewells (which I’ve been through twice, one of them last month). Despite what you feel, this vlog felt very genuine (as usual) and I’d like to send a big hug to you both.
just on that bit about interacting with people with diff beliefs: one of the things i realized when i do actually talk to them is that a lot of people are just afraid for themselves (whether it’s being afraid of change, afraid of being told they’re wrong, etc) and that fear has taken root into something more vicious over time. It’s not always going to be pleasant interaction and I am also still working on it, but talking to them with that in mind has helped me a lot! Not to say I will go out of my way to be the “bigger person” but it does curb the kneejerk response of writing people off completely 😅
Yes!! So many things are reactionary and people lose the root meaning of what theyre saying so they dont even understand the depth of harm/hurt they are causing by supporting, for example, blue lives matter. With conversation we can understand each other better 🤍
Cari, I'm so sorry for your & Kurt's loss and everyone else experiencing the grief. I had wondered whether you were OK when there was no vlog a few weeks back, and whilst I'm sad this was the reason why, I'm also happy you took the time you needed. Separately, a few channels my husband and I watch about general topics to learn more about the world & science: kurzgesagt, wendover productions, half as interesting, veritasium, vsauce!
omg! you read Clarice 😭💗 i’m from Brazil and its so special seeing her popping in your channel. you MUST read “Agua Viva”, her best work piece. loved this vlog for so many reasons but had to react to my fav author being mentioned. xx
I've become weirdly obsessed with the following two creators... I don't camp and don't plan on it so I can't explain why I find them so relaxing. Go4x4 & Ssoberry 💜✨
I remember reading the hour of the star in high school here in Brazil as it was one of the obligatory reads! One of the few books I enjoyed. Have you tried Dom Casmurro by Machado de Assis? It's also really nice. Love the vlog, as always! ❤❤❤
That was the exact same Appalachia video that sucked me in too! I’ve also enjoyed Cecilia Blomdahl’s videos. She lives close to the Arctic and records videos about living through polar night in 24 hrs of darkness and traveling to different glaciers and staying safe from polar bears. Right now she’s putting videos up about the challenges of living with the midnight sun! Such a different way of living and it’s so interesting.
Sorry for your loss. I love community development practices and from the people I’ve met in that field, they have really expanded how I view people and the words I use to communicate with others which really leads to better understanding. It’s small and niche, but you could check out the practicing connection podcast! I know one of the hosts from college and look up to him. The target audience for the podcast is military families but a lot of the practices at their core are for anyone.
Hey Cari! heads up that if your new apartment floor is laminate then you could end up damaging it with the steam mop, the TLDR is that any cleaning process that introduces a lot of moisture along the joints is not suitable for laminate flooring and can introduce warping/peeling. your flooring could be LVT though so just warning to check and be sure!
Something interesting happening for me this week - I'm moving to Vancouver! (from London). Any girlies who love to read and live in Vancouver, let's be friends!!!
Always appreciate the Cari vlogs on Sunday morning ❤ a thing I learned lately was how to drive a BOAT! random I know. I‘m studying knots right now to get my sporting boat license.
Great observations in this video, Cari. I'm having the same conversations with my circle of friends. I have friends that do not have the same political perspective I do. I've stopped their Facebook notifications, but I am always happy to see them and just talk about life stuff, the many things We have in common. I would miss them if they were not in my life.
I have also been hooked on Jenny Nicholson's videos! I didn't think I'd end up watching that full Star Wars hotel vid but the time flew by. I also recommend Mina Le's videos for long-ish form content :)
You know you're getting old when you're excited about a new electric mop, haha. Im not hating at all, btw. I just got a new vacuum and literally told everyone in my family about how good it is, lol.
First of all, sorry for your loss! Hope the grieving process has been unhurried. And your comments about prejudice and assumptions are so true! I think we don't realize that with most people, we have more in common than we would expect. One of the things that has been most helpful for me is having friends who I don't agree with on everything and, to some degree, following people on Instagram who I disagree with (although I feel like I'm a bit more guarded with that because social media has a weird way of interacting with our brains). Overall I think you are on to something - we just need to see people as people, just like us, regardless of their beliefs and ideals. And who knows, we might find friends in unexpected places!
loved the vlog as usual but this vlog in particular stuck out bcus of the mini-rants in between. it reminded me of my 2nd year studying literature. from exposing ourselves to different experiences (despite the obvious differences and moral disagreements) to the whole idea of censorship in media etc and the act of reading itself... my 2nd year summarised 😭😭 i love when ur mundane travel vlogs merge with a tinge of reading/societal conversations
yes!! i feel like so much of the reading community is ready to cancel a book or author because of a character having complicated views or discussing difficult topics. I had someone recently comment that a book was problematic because it talks about self harm and "in 2024 authors likely would avoid talking about that" because it could be triggering - but it was written in such a healthy and responsible way. Kind of freaks me out to be honest :/ and i hope you have such an amazing time!!
@@caricakes we talked a lot about how problematic issues/things/ideologies should still be written about bcus the whole idea of “canceling a person/media” is so counter productive and redundant. It becomes a mechanism for power and reduces open healthy conversation! And tysm! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Okay but I feel so in tune with your growth lately as I also moved in a different place and got into Jenny Nicholson vids 😅 It's refreshing to see genuine honesty coming through your videos please bestie yap away

He puts a ton of time in them and brings it across in a simple and understandable way
People really look down on Appalachians, but if you actually look into our history we were a big part of the early workers rights movements in the US.
This was such a cozy, comforting and a heartwarming vlog thankyouuuu Cari for making my Sunday as always💖🫶
The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek is about a blue person. Also a story of the mountain people in Eastern Kentucky
looking it up now!
Shakira's 90's stuff is soooo good, love that you gave it a chance as a non spanish speaker
she was the only reason i passed the AP spanish exam lol, i've loved her forever
OMG i have been listening to the spark 😂 its def a banger! Thank you for the long form content recommendation. I hope that you are having a great week Cari 🌲🌳🌻
21:47 totally agree with your sentiment right here, much needed in today’s world
This vlog was so special.
what a nice and super cozy Seoul (I saw the places that my fam goes to!) lifestyle vlog!! ❤
❤❤❤
As a Brazilian, I'm pleased that you enjoyed reading Clarice Lispector!! She's fascinating!! I recommend A Breath of Life! 🥰
Hello cari ❤
Your new flat looks so pretty ❤ I think you could give it a more cute caffe vibe by hanging more pictures/ framed artwork and plants on shelves - that would be absolutely lovely
Channels I could recommend to learns about different styles of living would be: Jona Jinton - a painter and silversmith who lives with there husband in northern Sweden ❤ I watch her for years and her videos are so sweet and relaxing
Electric buses are the best. No vibrations from the engine, no noise. You get to experience the sounds around such as the birds etc.
Im definitely going to add The Hour Of The Star to my TBR, thanks for the recommendation
Grief is not easy to deal with, hope you feel better soon , be kind to yourself at those times🫶
Your videos are very comforting,it's
like catching up with an old friend.
Also loved that tshirt near the end of the video, lots of love from 🇬🇷💙
I was just bingwatching your videos, because they bring so much comfort to my day! I just want to thank you just for the love and effort that you put on your vlogs and book videos!! 🥹🫶
Thank you 🥲🫶🫶🫶

And social media and it's algorithms are just making the whole echo chamber effect worse 😵💫 lovely video as always, thank you 🥰
Not Cari loving the best era of Shakira ❤ I have that album on vinyl, it’s such a good one.
Grief is hard. I hope you're doing okay ❤️
I love the Spark! And it's finally on spotify!! 🥳 That song has made me feel so good since I first heard it
I’m sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to move forward when it feels like everything should just stop. Take care of yourself and thank you for letting us see this glimpse beyond the usual of your life. ❤
THINK YOU CAN STOP WHAT WE DO? I DOUBT IT! On repeat in my head alllllllllllllllllllll day… thank you cari
I will have to look that up asap! And thank you thank you 😊🫶😊🫶
As a Korean American, female, hetero, retired police officer, I am about ALL lives matter including blue, black, latinos, lgtbq and etc.
Imagine showing up at a breast cancer fundraiser event and trying to silence the attendees by saying "but ALL cancer matters."
No one is saying any one life doesnt matter, but it was a movement that was shining a light on the Black experience in the US and the 'all lives matter' movement started with the goal of shutting that converstation down.
That's why my guard immediately goes up when I hear "all lives..."
You can say that you want all people to be uplifted and protected, but dont do it with a blue lives matter shirt, you know?
I got a steaming mop almost 2 years ago and it is a game changer! I love using it😁😍 and I love how you don't need any other product to go with it. It's just water!😅
seeing the floors dry is sooo satisfying haha
you're a strength and comfort for many so I'm so glad that you have us to lean on too when grief or heartbreak comes.
Love it! ❤❤❤ and so sorry for your loss ❤❤
thank you so much
the way i just started watching Cherrien's vlogs this MORNING and subscribed and then you go out and meet her!!
The Egg and the Chicken is one of my favourite short stories from Clarice Lispector💖
*adds to list* hahah
Greetings from Greece. Always happy to watch your vlogs. Korea looks a really elegant country to live.
Getting excited over the mop is honestly so real. As you should sis.
As a Greek girl it makes me so happy seeing you in you ΕΛΛΑΣ tshirt 💙 I am sorry for your loss Cari. The vlog was beautiful, don't worry 🫂
I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you will take your time to recover. Always good to have you as my best part of Sunday morning. ❤️
omg! you read Clarice 😭💗 i’m from Brazil and its so special seeing her popping in your channel. you MUST read “Agua Viva”, her best work piece. loved this vlog for so many reasons but had to react to my fav author being mentioned. xx
I'm sorry for your loss. Never apologize for needing to take some time for yourself. Mental health is important. We will be here when you get back.
I've become weirdly obsessed with the following two creators... I don't camp and don't plan on it so I can't explain why I find them so relaxing. Go4x4 & Ssoberry 💜✨
When I watch your videos, I always feel peace and warmth in my heart. ^^
thank you :')
Lately ? I tried to take care of myself and your videos helped me as always ! Thank you Cari for your vlogs and for sharing with us ❤❤❤
Im sorry that you lost someone. Its life unfortunately. I hope you will be okay. Also thank you for making our days better by just being here ❤
i actually usually save these for sunday nights just before bed because thats how comforting they are
Sorry for your loss.
These videos are such a great way for me to end my week. Thank you for all the work that goes into them ❤
thank you!!
Loved the bit where you shared the bits of the internet you found interesting!! ❤
Omg I'm behind again! 3rd pregnancy watching your videos helps me unwind 😊
I'm 26 and I was also excited for your new adult purchase!! I want a better mop tool than the one I have 😂
Always appreciate the Cari vlogs on Sunday morning ❤ a thing I learned lately was how to drive a BOAT! random I know.
And who knows, we might find friends in unexpected places!
loved the vlog as usual but this vlog in particular stuck out bcus of the mini-rants in between. it reminded me of my 2nd year studying literature. from exposing ourselves to different experiences (despite the obvious differences and moral disagreements) to the whole idea of censorship in media etc and the act of reading itself... my 2nd year summarised 😭😭
i love when ur mundane travel vlogs merge with a tinge of reading/societal conversations
yes!! i feel like so much of the reading community is ready to cancel a book or author because of a character having complicated views or discussing difficult topics. I had someone recently comment that a book was problematic because it talks about self harm and "in 2024 authors likely would avoid talking about that" because it could be triggering - but it was written in such a healthy and responsible way.
Kind of freaks me out to be honest :/
and i hope you have such an amazing time!!
@@caricakes we talked a lot about how problematic issues/things/ideologies should still be written about bcus the whole idea of “canceling a person/media” is so counter productive and redundant. It becomes a mechanism for power and reduces open healthy conversation!
And tysm! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
So sorry for your loss. Sending all the love your way it’s really not easy❤️. But thanks once again for another amazing vlog!
Okay but I feel so in tune with your growth lately as I also moved in a different place and got into Jenny Nicholson vids 😅 It's refreshing to see genuine honesty coming through your videos please bestie yap away
omg I love when people outside of Brasil read Clarice, she is one of my favorites authors!! you should definitely read "Near to the wild heart", it is my favorite!!
너무 아름다운 카리... 너무 좋은 vibe...늘 잘보고 있어요 오늘도 잘보고 갑니다❤❤❤
