OK brothers, excellent video, you guys vibe so well such a good duo, the music in the vid was so perfect created a great ambiance, good vibes all round, stoked i found your channel :)
Yeah super freezing! In part 3 we head further up and get our feet almost frozen off after a million crossings through ice 😂 kaimanawas sounds dreamy 😆
That looked like a super hard core 5km of track. Was it even marked? I kept looking for little triangles, but then to see ropes and ladders, after the "where is this track". It's odd where infrastructure lands. I'd have turned around and thank god you didn't do that in the rain. Do you prefer to hunt together or alone and is the drive for a kill greater than the drive to hang out and hunt together? Your hut life looks so dam comfortable, why ever leave, pancakes for breakfast, pancakes for lunch, pancakes for dinner.... pass the lemon and sugar please Arved. Kidding, beautiful country to explore, esp in winter. Lastly, have you thought about creating an NZ Wild Adventures email address?
Yep, luckily the track was marked. It was pretty rough with the elevation and the washouts! Solo hunting is quite nice because you can cover much more ground at the same time. But we do enjoy the hunt together for the camaraderie and also for the convenience of the filming and shooting part... Ah yes, we have added our email to the 'about' part of our UA-cam channel, thanks!
Primo looking country! I bet you're glad you waited for the rain to stop before walking in. That track would have been bloody dodgy in the wet! Not the place for Tasman to be walking out with his 40kg pack like his solo hunt! 😂
Nice 😊 !!!!!🥳🤠👌💯💯🤙💪
Have only just stumbled across your channel. Interesting, entertaining. In other words, bloody good viewing! Love that rimu stock. Cheers....

It was a sea run Brown trout mate..they get shinny when in tidal areas..good mission..good on ya boys
Cheers mate, thanks for the tip, we really weren't sure 😂
Rimu stock looks great. Looked chilly those river crossings and thick ice. No broken eggs well done. Thanks for sharing your venture. Pop
Thanks mate! Yep, wait til you see the next video where we head further into the valley! Cheers for watching 😁
I’m a lumber jack and I’m okay, I sleep all night and I work all day 🤣🤣 cool video!

Cheers for watching mate! Thanks for your comments 😁
Those river crossing must be incredible freezing. Knee deep small rivers in the kaimanaws make me question my life decisions

Deer hang around mid way up the hills in conditions like that fellas warmer up there trust me chased them for years on the coast.
We'll try that next time, oh wait we're not going back there 🤣. Hahaha cheers
Hello. Which calibres are you using?
