Spc no need to cut with dropsaw. Just cut with press blade cutter. Use a 2g long side and 5g short sidd click rather then uniclick. Use 1530 long and 230 wide planks. Spc minimum thickness 7mm to be used. I solved all of the problems which you mentioned
It's just really dense laminate with resin sealing the composite. It's the true hybrid floors that this idiot is talking about. This guy is confusing evp with hybrid flooring. Evp is the spc/wpc composites mentioned in the video. Duravana is a true hybrid floor, and it is GARBAGE. Spc vinyl is the way to go if you cannot afford real tile. Duravana is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Someone else can correct me if I’m wrong but from the very little research I have done, anything constructed of limestone and resin (PVC) is considered SPC…
@@bettertoolatethannever "hybrid" flooring is just really dense laminate. It's not actually waterproof and is prone to mold. It will delaminate and disintegrate when exposed to moisture just like laminate, it just takes a little longer. The only waterproof flooring is spc vinyl or solid tile. These new fad "hYbRiD" floors are just a way to capitalize on the obsession with "gReEn" technology and the even bigger obsession with waterproof floors. Mark my words, in the coming decade, these floors will be at the heart of many many class action lawsuits. Their claims are absurd. Nothing made of wood can ever be waterproof, just like those bamboo floors could never be scratch proof.
@@kirstenherbert5143 spc flooring is not a hybrid flooring. Spc is just engineered vinyl. He claims it requires a perfectly flat subfloor...and yet, thick spc is the best flooring for uneven subfloors. This dude is likely just not clicking it properly, as there is over 13 different locking styles on the market. His claim of silicosis is also absurd, because the amount of dust required would be more dust than is produced in the factory that makes the stuff. I knew bro was full of shit the second he called evp a "hybrid" floor. Hybrid floors are "waterproof" wood composites, not stone polymer composites. This guy is just trying to sell a gimmick floor whilst spreading misinformation about the most reliable waterproof flooring on the market.
Hi there , thanks for all information, I have a question, can hybrid timber flooring be light sanded and sealed etc ..
Thanks

Never seen someone so confidently wrong about every single claim they are making.
@EddyOfTheMaelstrom please elaborate and provide some evidence, otherwise you prove yourself to be a useless troll.
