This is one of, if not THE best full coverage of an Amp I have ever seen. Literally walks you through and at a easy pace too. Well done and good job on the new mono amp too!
You can buy a TPA3255 amp module within 20 dollars. The so-called Post-Filter Feedback (PFFB) are just a few capacitors and resistors.
If you are concerned with overheating, you might want to check or use the coolers used for laptops. You can put these amps over the laptop coolers to cool the amps. I bought a used laptop cooler at the thrift store for $5.00. The cooler I bought has two fans which is perfectly pointed to each of the amps on top. Although the amps do not get that hot, I still put them on top of the coolers just in case the amps need some cooling.
Well done, this is an absolute godsend to the community. I am very impressed with this implementation and the supplied measurements thus far.

In the Opamp Rolling segment, you don't mention the third slot near the input section. Is there no sonic advantage to rolling this third opamp?
kudos for saving the money on the pots - it's a job of the music source (read Walkman, iPhone, Android) , resistance steps volume controller or high-quality digital knobs controlled AVR preamp to adjust the milliWatt input to the V3. I strongly agree with the removal of the 'Potentiometer' for volume control, less parts to be worried about. Only dumb will request this in a 'mono' AMP!

How can a 5.1 setup be achieved with monos ? What device will provide 5 channel preamp signal with DSP for surround setup?

the simplest way would be to use an avr that has 5.1 preamp outs.
Schiit Audio Syn is a 5.1 surround DAC for $399, but looks like RCA or optical input only, no HDMI eARC. But as the other commentor said, you could use an AVR that has pre-outs, that just might set you back a bit for one with pre-outs for the 5 primary surround channels
Are your rated power figures for 1 power supply for 2 V3s? Do you recommend 1 or 2 power supply for a pair of V3s?
When we connect a 48V/5A psu to a v3 mono, we can get a rated power of 240W into a 4ohms load.
Is it possible/safe to have one sub - but still in stereo - with these monos? If so, what would be the safest way to connect them to a single rel sub? 🙏🏼
The vast majority of subs use internal amplifiers.
You could connect your REL to the V3 Mono's with an RCA splitter cable. But it's probably better to drive your powered sub directly from the preamp.
I would love a 32 Ohm (mono mode) : 33.5W RMS per channel, 300 Ohm (mono mode) : 6.4W RMS per channel 600 Ohm (mono mode) : 3.5W RMS per channel mono headphone Amplifier stack from fosi for $500 or less for for things like the modhouse tungsten double-sided☺☺☺️

If it has volume control, sure !
In the video we used a Sony D99 discman as the audio source which has a volume control.😃
MUST have volume controller. Start by using the lowest volume before powering on ANY power amps.

If I already have 2 48v 5 amp Power supplies from the VA3 can I just order the mono blocks alone ?
Yes
You can order one unit without power supply on Kickstarter. But all the Two-unit options include power supply - either the 5A or the big 10A.
Thanks for all the replies.. I have 2 VA-3’ s running in mono already so I guess another dumb question … will these amps sound better being that they are specifically designed for mono ?
The Chinese power amps need to specify RMS power ratings instead of peak power!

This amp is not using a bulk heatsink for the amplifier chip. You will have the answer if you look at the spec from TI TPA3255.
The problem with these mini components is that they cannot supply floor speakers with sound, only bookshelf speakers.
I would have 4 so I could quad amp my speakers.

The one near the RCA input is used to convert RCA signal to balanced signal.

i have za3 and i think it has 5 op amps. I replaced 2 for the left and right channel. Why do V3 mono has 3? What are the two op amps for as you said the third one is for the conversion of RCA to balanced.

The loudspeakers (and room, and recording quality) should have a lot more to say about the final sound quality than almost any amplifier. This gives a lot of power for not so much money.

No balanced information ? That design should be balanced by default . And the RCAs are added for consumer gear and voltage. XLR s are higher , and more robust signal ! By design... the whole home theater thing that was described should have covered this ? I'm not a home theater fan, but running in XLR mode you would run long interconnects and short speakers cables ! That's one of the benefits of balance XLR . Hooking up a portable device is not a demonstration of the so called capabilities of such a unit? The word Audiophile is used many times in this video ,but this is not an audiophile demonstration! Start with your best application then work your way down? Starting with portable devices is not Audiophile?
