Hunty be thankful... 99.9999% of what we eating in the US giving us high blood pressure, heart disease, arterial stenosis, diabetes, etc.. they told us it was genetic but what we finding out is it's "what we been eating"... passing down dishes thru our families from generation 2 generation. It's why other countries, including Italy, ban certain foods that are imported from the US, cancerous containing ingredients... 🤷🏾♀️
Gina your chittlings looks so delicious. I have never had chittlings with tomato sauce. This is a Hardey bowl with vegetables. Thank you so much for always blessing the world with your gift from God. ❤❤❤

We love chitterlings, we don’t buy the buckets we buy the bags & the brand we buy are Aunt Bessie’s 👍🏾
Awesome video, Gina! Thank you for sharing this! I’ve never had chitterlings before, but these look so beautiful and delicious. My grandmother used to eat them and she said she was never going to make them again. It’s probably because she got tired of them the way she was fixing them. She needed a beautiful new recipe like this one! I hope you had a wonderful weekend, I love you Gina and family! God bless you all 🤗❤️🙏
Came through to tell you thanks, sincerely. I haven’t had chittlins in over 12 years after growing tired of the bland version; however, I tried this recipe for myself yesterday. I had never cooked them, myself, but your video made all instructions so clear to follow, and I nailed it. They were SO GOOD!!
OMG......I love me some homemade chitterlings❤❤❤

My job just gave us a grocery gift card for the holiday, so I'm about to try these for my first time with money that didn't come from my household budget (room for error LOL). Thank you, Ma'am. Hi Gina gourmet chitterlings looks delicious 😋🤤 I'm going to try your recipe.
Hi Gina, thanks for sharing this recipe. My family love, love chitterlings. I will definitely try this one for holidays.
Hi Betty🌹🌹
How are you doing?
Beautiful chitterlings. I began using veggies several years ago. Also pre boil to get rid if the grease. Never thought to use tomato sauce. Think I’ll give it a try.
What a beautiful presentation. I would take the leftover broth and cook romaine noodles in it. Yummy. Thanks so much Gina.
Gina now you KNOW I love this video. They look good and makes me anxiously await when I do mines this year 💙💯
You got this enjoy the recipe 😊
@@InTheKitchenWithGinaYoung much love Gina, miss ya 💙😀

❤❤YESSSSSS❤❤
Thanks for watching 😊
Pull up a chair or stool to the sink you have work to do LOL I enjoyed watching this video. Chitterlings are a lot of work god bless you people who cook them.
❤❤
Hey Gina them look hood & I dnt even eat em but I cook them for my family
Thanks have fun making them
I just made some today. I typically make Creole style chitins but I tried this way this year. The red sauce is different but you can really tell that the cherry peppers are in because it gives it a sweet tang taste.
Looks amazing! 😋
I love chittlings! 😊 but I've never cooked them with tomato sauce...i will have to try it 😊😅
Never made them this way before… my Grandma recipe just called for celery onions and vinegar… yes not only did they get washed several times but they were placed in a big pot covered with plain water brought to a hard boil then poured water of and repeated several times before the final boil… then the seasonings and vegetables would be added… you’re telling the truth about the long process and and to ignore the “pre cleaned” label… I cook only the hog maws now… don’t take quite as long… thanks for sharing❤️🙏🏽
Ps After all that time cleaning and parboiling/pour-off I use a pressure cooker for the cook stage
Gina looks so good and delicious yummy yummy 😊
make sure to light a candle for the smell!!!!!!!!! lordy. delicious though.
My mother use to eat chitterling
😊
I don't eat them but looks good.❤
Oh nice! I never seen this video long before! 😊

Hi, Gina, try Aunt Bessie, you will never have that problem, Aunt Bessie is the best!
They need some cleaning as well. Tried Aunt Bessie's before, not as much cleaning but some.
Hey Gina tfs
Those Chitlins look so Bomb.
Hello Gina! Love the recipe. Who taught you to cook?
How's your beautiful family and Prince and Polo
Hi Gina. TFS! Will definitely try your recipe. Never used tomato sauce 🥫. Looks delicious 😋! God Bless 🫶🏾
Enjoy 😊
Great tutorial Ms. Gina! I don’t eat these, but I’ll be learning how to clean them, let me tell you…..I AM TERRIFIED 😫😂…Just the smell alone makes me gag to no end…I love cleaning meats anyway, but this is my ultimate challenge 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
How you cleaning the with gloves on expecially the thin ones. It's easier for me without gloves
I understand 😊
Is there an alternative if you have no food processor?
How much apple cider vinegar do you use?
Wassup Mrs Gina! I would never thought you would eat Chitterlings! I got me three packs of precleaned Chitterlings in fridge for Thanksgiving! I can't wait!🤤😋😆
They say precleaned, but I have had to check and clean those as well. Always double check.😊
I'm from the DEEP south (MS) and I always pull the membrane off. The hog's poop laid on that membrane.
Where can I buy chitlins. Can I order them online. Thanks in advance.
Hey everyone. These chitterlings are different, never had red sauce. As a Southerner, I don’t pull the lining out, that’s part of the chitterlings. After numerous cleanings I soak in salty water, rinse to rid the salt and then cook. But to each their own. Just saying 😊
That is so true most people in the south don’t take the membrane off
Exactly. Tomato sauce does not go in chitterlings however, when it is your kitchen you can cook how you want, lol! just saying. Her chitterlings does look good and packed with flavor. but in the south, there is no red sauce and not all of the other ingredients as well. Just plain chitterlings, yams, greens, hot sauce, and cornbread.
@@tellittothetacos…and don’t forget the potato salad! 😆🤣
#LouisianaGal
U answered my question. I was wondering if I had to pull the lining. Taught to pull the lining. But it is time consuming. Gonna try it differently this years . Thanks @Vicky-fm4jp
I tried them once, my dad had them, I tasted a little piece didn't like it.
😊
Cooking these right now! So far so good! On the 2nd boil then the seasoning and coklokong begins! The red sauce is good, it really tastes like thick hot sauce. Not what i expected putting tomato sauce in but i like it so far
Gina do you use hog mogs in your chittlings.
That’s the best way I like them with the hog maws but I couldn’t find any
why is the membrane unwanted though? chewy? stinky?
It’s the actual part that the waist travels through. That’s why you get rid of it
I make mines in cooking wine
Naw i liked your first video. This does not look good for thanksgiving dinner at all. Sometimes if it ain’t broke you shouldn’t try and fix it. Now i gotta go find your old video i watched to refresh me on how to make them lol
Look okay I been cooking chitterlings for sixty years and never seen them with all that stuff in them red sauce that’s a mistress to me they looked a hot mess but they just might taste good I cook them with the other vegetables but not the red sauce.😢
hate, hate, all I can say hate just smelling them, just hate😁🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣✌️
Hi Deborah🌹🌹
How are you doing?
I have to my knowledge never eaten chitterlings before. The finished product looks too good to pass up. Yours took hours to clean and make into what looks more like a soup. If someone came to a meal and this was put before them with a crust of French bread they would ask for seconds. This is about the only way that I would prepare it.
What did they cost?
12.99 a bag I got three bags
They’re $30 for a five pound bag where I live.
@@FLOKADOWOW!!! They do get a little more expensive during this time of the year. I've never paid that much for them.
24.99 here but that wascfindong them cheap! They have gone up ridiculously along with everything else you buy
The word asking is pronounced with the letter S not X!!!
CHILE-PLEASEEEEEE!!! This ain't Grammer school... damnn🤦🏾♀️
That's too much seasonings because it takes away the Chittlins taste!!
You all know you dont have to eat the "crap" anymore🤢
This is not Southern nor the business.
Does she always talk like this??
🤦🏾♀️
Drank that chitlin juice
