    Many thanks for sharing. It took you a lot of time and effort to film and then produce the Excel sheet.

    I was just in Edmonton this spring shooting the skyline for a Travel Alberta gig :)

      Chad Cona When you say spring, you mean it was still snowing here right?! I want to do commercial but I still feel newbish and need lots of practice. Thanks for checking my video/s out!

      I guess it was the last week in Feb, I don't remember that much snow though. We were shooting a short clip of the skyline at dusk. I was operating gimbal on a shot that had no gimbal move lol. Practice makes perfect!

      Chad Cona Nice! Any chance of seeing your work? Weather's been pretty erratic here. It snowed last month too when I already swapped out my winter tires! That's why my Multiple POI video has half spring and winter shots though they were done in 2 straight days.

      I work for Rory at Minefilms, we fly a Red 8k on a Freefly Movi pro/Alta 8, currently working on a new promo video as the old one is now a couple years old.

      Chad Cona Wow that must be an awesome gig! I'm hoping at some point this'll be more than a hobby for me. Thanks for watching even though my 71 moves might be too basic for you haha!

    Enjoyed the videos. Yes, I watched them both. I'm certain that this project took many hours to compile and edit the various locations and shots.... Great Job..... (I might suggest a little more generic music, not something that will put one to sleep, but not one that makes you want to turn it down either. Tough choice..... Not complaining, just a preference.)

      Thank you for checking them out! Yepp I spent around 4 days driving around. It was only on the second day when I decided to make a tutorial video. I would've spent less time if I planned beforehand haha, but it was fun driving around and sitting down with pen and paper to see what kind of shot I could make before flying the drone.
      As for the music choice, they were the first few ones I nabbed from the free UA-cam Audio Library. A friend of mine told me about other sites to get copyright-free music, so I'll check them out soon. Thanks again!

    I really like these two videos. The Soar shot is a surprise -- like running down a hill in a hang glider, then launching off. Your yaws are also very slow, which is great -- so many push the sticks and make me sick to my stomach.

      Thank you for checking them out! I wish yaw could have slower sensitivity as it doesn't scale similarly to other movements. I'm not gonna lie, they're not one or two-takes! I'm sweating hard trying to keep yaw slow haha.

    Are all of our movements. I think the "drunk" movement is in all of our "raw" videos :) Interesting video. Have a nice weekend!

    Some nice ideas! Not sure about "drunk" though, especially as I don't have obstacle avoidance ☺️

      Abbey Aerial Video Haha I had 70 moves but it felt too even so I squeezed in "Drunk". Thanks for watching!

    btw...your 'drunk' angle in film jargon is called a 'dutch angle or tilt'

    • @CinemaCaptures
      @CinemaCaptures  7 років тому +1

      Thanks for the info! I'm pretty newb to videography and drones, pretty much just made up all 71 names haha. I wish the camera wouldn't jiggle when adjusting the tilt as that would've made for something cool too.

    Bro, I want to ask you. How do you do the tagging fir your video? Im trying to search my yt channel name in google but it didnt come out instead, this video appeared in the first page of videos tab.thanks.

    • @CinemaCaptures
      @CinemaCaptures  7 років тому

      drone maneuvers Hey my first 4 tags are cinematic, drone, maneuvers, moves. I haven't changed it since I put up the video. Honestly, I can't figure out how UA-cam decides on which ones get searched. I have a few videos with simple tags and if I search the first few tags even in order, it doesn't come out at all. Not sure if that helped but that's all I got. I didn't pay for people to click or watch my videos, so it's odd that mine would pop out on the first page. Other famous UA-camrs have lots of drone tutorials too.

      Thanks. I notice mine didn't come out but if I search "pull back shots", only one video with the most views come out. Thanks for the reply. Happy flying!

      drone maneuvers Maybe the key is having more views in the first 24 hours of the video, I don't know. I try to share my stuff on Reddit to get more views quickly.

      ok. thanks. You can post your videos in dji forum and phantompilots. It helps me to get more views as well.

      Who doesn't?! I should've put an echo effect to mimic some drunkenness
