Could you write this out in a step by step paper? It's so hard to keep the steps in my head ol from a 30 minute video. I'd love to be able to follow along with a step by step written out guide

I learned about mango I think you said would help cover them. And omg the lashes!!! I CANT WAIT TO TRY THOSE..Its been 5years since I've had them done. Oh my GOSH!!!!! Let me say this, thank you at thousand times. I’ve been buying, using, talking about and hating Lashify. I so badly wanted them to work like they say they do. Prior to this tutorial I got a days wear out of them. Like they WOULD NOT stay. I kept buying and trying and being so very, very disappointed in them. This video is the bomb. I have gotten so far 3 days wear and they mostly have stayed minus two little lashes one on each eye. I will let you and anyone else know how long in the end they stay. I get excited to put them on so u will try to be disciplined and not take them off to get a real idea how long this method works. Again thank you! Hoping this method works for me… Every single time that I’ve tried this method without night bond my lashes wash off in the shower literally the next day, every lash every time. :-( Ordered night bond, and am hoping that’s the magic to making these work for me!
I know this is one of your earlier videos, but I really appreciate one that isn’t only Lashify product. It’s very expensive to buy everything all at once and I love the look, so I don’t want to give up, even if I can’t shell out all the $$$ now. I don’t have Melt Away or Precleanse right now, and looking at investing even more when I’m not sure I can get these to stay on is a no go for me.

Victoria T yes girl! I hope you did! You might be like me and only need the white Whisper light for a full week. Try that first, then as you see what’s working for you you can determine if you need nightbond or this method. I definitely suggest trying them in the morning when you have plenty of time to apply them for your first time. That way you can see how they wear throughout the day- most people have trouble keeping them to last through the night depending on how they sleep 😜 just holler if you have any questions!
I’m obsessed with lashes. Good old glue is scary. If you get them wrong you get cakey glue residue. I saw these however I think this is way too much work for such a subtle look. I’ll just go and get extensions ! However magnetic lashes have changed the game. Easy, adjustable and long or short. I’m be on those until the next hack comes along !

Question for you if you ever get a chance: Does the double-sided Whisperlight bond/glue get dry/go bad after 8 months and we need to replace it with a new tube? Or is it just me ;!) Vanessa mentions that different types of micellar water may have "slippery" ingredients that don't work well with the bonds, and could break down the longevity of defcon 5. What brand of micellar water do you use?
Lin C yes, I’ve heard that too! I use the brand the founder recommended before she had made her own 😉 I’ve used it from the beginning and never had a problem! I use the Garnier Micellar cleansing water with the pink cap 👍🏻
It is supposed to be.... but I still prefer WhisperLight to be honest. I think everyone's eyes are so different you just have to try and see what will work best for you. There seems to be new methods coming out all the time too!
I have just spent ages watching your very detailed and informative videos - excellent job!! Definitely one of the most instructive demo's for 'Lashify' I've watched ... am slightly confused though by this method because I'm sure (and I may have got this wrong) that you said you didn't like the 'Nightbond' because it made them feel heavier or was that the 'Glass' waterproofing stuff? I'm in the UK and about to place an order for the kit but no idea which Gossamers to choose and given the time it will take to ship here am wondering whether to order all 3 types but not sure what is in the kit and what isn't and whether they let you have more than one size/length. One thing I did want to ask you was how do you go about applying eye shadows - is it lashes first then shadow or the other way round, I'm glad I've got the same Urban Decay primer. This product just may be a life changer for me - I've tried many times and failed abysmally at using normal strip lashes, even the magnetic one's didn't work for me so I am so glad you have made these videos. Will let you know how I get on .... have just found the FB group!
Thanks you are so sweet! So this method is one I suggest if you don't get long wear from using just the Whisperlight bond. I do prefer Whisperlight and can get a weeks wear using only that bond, but everyone's eyes are different. I know some who need the nightbond in order to get a full week. I don't use it because its not necessary for me and yes I find it heavy. So the kits come in 2 lengths, 12 and 14 in whatever style you choose since those lengths are the most universal for most eye sizes. You can choose A, B or C styles for the control kit. A's are the most natural- I find them too straight for my eyes. B's and C's have the same curl so I like to use a combination of them. B's have thicker individual lashes and C's have thinner but more lashes in each gossamer if that makes sense, so they are wispier. I hope that helps! I always apply my lashes on clean lids and then apply eyeshadow last. The eyeshadow would definitely interfere with the lashes bonding well. I hope you love them! They were a game changer for me for sure!!!

Renata boyle so yes unfortunately the code goes away if you go away from the site at all and you’ll probably have to start again. I know with my first order I added separate extra gossamers to try. And I just got another control kit and it came with the wandoms 👍🏻 For the first year I used micellar water to prep and oil-free eye makeup remover to remove. I still haven’t tried the Precleanse but the Melt away is amazing. It removes them so much easier! I just tried Bondage last night for the first time too. It’s so good... anxious to see how long they’ll wear.
Hiya, at 8.56 you applied the WL black then went in with 'Nightbond', I'm confused because Nightbond isn't a bond, it's a sealant and is usually applied after your gossamers are in place, defcon 5 according to the dictionary on Lashify is - seal & finish on lower lashes, bondage on natural lash, clear WL added to spines, only after application of the gossamers and fusing should the nightbond be applied, if you fuse AFTER nightbond you could disrupt the seal. I realise this is an older video so maybe the sequence has since changed. I do enjoy listening to your calming voice, I'm usually huffing/puffing or swearing when I do mine after dropping a G for the 10th time. xx
So Nightbond originally came out as a stronger bond than WhisperLight, not a sealer. Since then they have changed their instructions on use from originally what was demonstrated and stated on the website as more people have found ways to make it work better. Originally it wasn't even applied with WhisperLight at all! I remember the first tutorial on it. So this video was based on Vanessa's originally DefCon5 method, I'm sure its changed numerous times since then...sorry if it was confusing!
I usually wiggle the Glass from the base of my lashes through the tips, I think it gives a better all over coat to waterproof. I've had steam facials and they didn't budge, so I see what you're saying but the Glass works wonders for me!
Do you have any hacks for a dry lashify bond ???? I received mine in the mail and it’s not tacky and I don’t know how to bring it back to life or if you can
Do you ever worry that they will come off when fusing? They stick to the tweezer. Also what do you you do when just one or two lashes fall off after a day or so. Do you re glue it or do you take them all off and put a whole new set on?
You can coat your wand in the glass or sealer then fuse to prevent that. I just reglue those that fell off but once I mastered placement I’ve never lost any throughout a week 👍🏻
This one is all C's, so from inner to outer C10-C12-C12-C14-C14. I just did a full skincare video showing how I wash my face wearing them a couple weeks back. But I never let my face hit the water directly in the shower, or at least my eyes don't.
I don't get them wet in the shower. I wash my face before I get in and keep them out of the water stream. I use the Simple brand makeup remover wipes, Garnier micellar water and the Tres Leches line from Maskcara Beauty. To remove the lashes I use the Melt Away from Lashify.
Lisa Hudson No, in Lashify fusing just means using the control wand to clamp down along the spine of the gossamers to secure the seal 👍🏻 so before bed helps keep them on overnight and in the morning to help secure them all day.

Kitty Farruggio nope if not using Melt away you want to be using an oil free, dual phase eye makeup remover to take them off. Micellar water would be really hard to take them off with!
The Whisperlight bond has one end that's white and one end thats black. There's 3 different WhisperLight options, one is a single end and then the others are dual and you pick the applicator end you want. I'm not sure which one comes in the kit now, when I got mine there wasn't multiple options.

Hi, I was wondering if your natural lashes poke through the lashify ones when they become uncurled; and if the lashify lashes droop when your real lashes become uncurled.
You can use the Seal and finish or the Glass as a sealer, they both are sealers, just the Glass is waterproof and clear. Both are packaged in a black tube.
Does it burn your eyes ever? I just got them and the second day if my eyes water it burns, or I just had a shower and same thing, should I use more glass?
Do you know the difference between gossamers and brands like Ardell individual lashes? I assume the Lashify bond is the really important part of the process.
M Jack so yes brands like Ardell use cluster lashes so they are actually tied like a ball to a central point and are actually much heavier. They also can’t be glued under your lashes like this system. The gossamers band is what makes them so different and weightless so they won’t do damage to your natural lashes. And yep you’re right the bond is unlike any other lash glue out there! It’s crazy how long it lasts on the eye...
@@TheContouredChemist Well, I must say these lashes are the best ever! But I will admit, I used Ardell short lashes for my corners because I didn't have shorter gossamers. They worked fine in a pinch but you can tell they are different. I will be ordering more gossamers. Thank you so much for your reply and the video, its been extremely helpful.
Irene S make sure your computer allows pop- ups. It should pull up the Lashify site, then there will be a pop up that you click on to enable the discount code. I hope that helps!
Wipe off your wand before you fuse to make sure there is no bond on the wand....that will do it every time! If that doesn't help, then you're probably using too much bond and its getting on the top of your lashes, so try less.
Lovely! I did them last week for 24 hrs, but my allergies got the better of me. I’m back to wearing mascara. 😢 my other issue is I’m a redhead with blonde lashes. So if I leave lashes out, it looks funny. I’m thinking of getting them tinted. Do you know if that’s safe? I’m a little scared 😱
Judy Greene I’ve never done it but I’ve heard it’s safe! Have you tried putting a thin coat of mascara on with the Lashify lashes to blend them in? I have before and it works good- you don’t need much at all! My new lashes growing in are super light too!
Thanks for the video. I was wondering about sleeping in them. I realize they've come along way in lashes, but my experience with other lashes is that you can't sleep in them without damaging them. You said you wear these for 7 days (if I heard you right)? Do you ever have any issues with that?
Judy T nope these aren’t your typical strip lashes! You do have to be careful and sleep on your back or side but yes I wear them a week no problem. It varies from person to person how long they’ll last for you. They won’t get damaged really but they may fall off in the middle of the night.
The Whisper Light gets tacky super fast so its not like normal lash glue where you need to wait, so you can apply it right away! For stacking, there's really no right or wrong way, I just feel like I get better overall longevity when I overlap so that too ends of the gossamer are never lined up, if that makes sense. Because the ends are the first place to start pulling up and that stacked gossmer helps hold it even longer! Hope that helps!
@@gabherrera7832 Like if you blinked or closed your eyes? That happens to me occasionally and its usually due to being too close to the waterline, but any style can do that. Hopefully that's all it is! I usually can tell which one it is and I just gently pull that one off and reapply a little farther away. Blink down hard before you fuse and make sure you can't feel them first. Then fuse in place!
SLM 888 no if you have glass you don’t have to use the other sealer. I prefer glass since it waterproofs it. I really only use it ever since I got it 👍🏻
Unfortunately most things do....this one doesn't affect my wear time, but that's why Lashify came out with their own Precleanse that doesn't have any in it!

Hiya, at 8.56 you applied the WL black then went in with 'Nightbond', I'm confused because Nightbond isn't a bond, it's a sealant and is usually applied after your gossamers are in place, defcon 5 according to the dictionary on Lashify is - seal & finish on lower lashes, bondage on natural lash, clear WL added to spines, only after application of the gossamers and fusing should the nightbond be applied, if you fuse AFTER nightbond you could disrupt the seal. I realise this is an older video so maybe the sequence has since changed. I do enjoy listening to your calming voice, I'm usually huffing/puffing or swearing when I do mine after dropping a G for the 10th time. xx
So Nightbond originally came out as a stronger bond than WhisperLight, not a sealer. Since then they have changed their instructions on use from originally what was demonstrated and stated on the website as more people have found ways to make it work better. Originally it wasn't even applied with WhisperLight at all! I remember the first tutorial on it. So this video was based on Vanessa's originally DefCon5 method, I'm sure its changed numerous times since then...sorry if it was confusing!
if it is the spine that breaks down in steam what good does it do to place the glass on the lashes...you didn't put any on the spine
I usually wiggle the Glass from the base of my lashes through the tips, I think it gives a better all over coat to waterproof. I've had steam facials and they didn't budge, so I see what you're saying but the Glass works wonders for me!

When you mention clear coat are you referring to to glass?
No their original Seal n Finish Clear Coat. It used to come in every control kit instead of Glass. Similar purpose though 👍🏻
Do you have any hacks for a dry lashify bond ???? I received mine in the mail and it’s not tacky and I don’t know how to bring it back to life or if you can
Adding contact lens solution is a hack for mascara so that might work 🤔 it’s mostly saline.
I see some people fuse after each gossamers is placed….does this help longevity?
For me it helps me get a stronger base 👍🏻

Do you ever worry that they will come off when fusing? They stick to the tweezer. Also what do you you do when just one or two lashes fall off after a day or so. Do you re glue it or do you take them all off and put a whole new set on?
You can coat your wand in the glass or sealer then fuse to prevent that. I just reglue those that fell off but once I mastered placement I’ve never lost any throughout a week 👍🏻

This one is all C's, so from inner to outer C10-C12-C12-C14-C14. I just did a full skincare video showing how I wash my face wearing them a couple weeks back. But I never let my face hit the water directly in the shower, or at least my eyes don't.
Do you get water on them when you shower? Also what makeup remover do you use?
I don't get them wet in the shower. I wash my face before I get in and keep them out of the water stream. I use the Simple brand makeup remover wipes, Garnier micellar water and the Tres Leches line from Maskcara Beauty. To remove the lashes I use the Melt Away from Lashify.

Christine Hsin Woohoo!!! I use a microfiber cloth to wipe around them and my cleanser off and sometimes a q-tip to get along the lash line 👍🏻

Lisa Hudson No, in Lashify fusing just means using the control wand to clamp down along the spine of the gossamers to secure the seal 👍🏻 so before bed helps keep them on overnight and in the morning to help secure them all day.

Kitty Farruggio nope if not using Melt away you want to be using an oil free, dual phase eye makeup remover to take them off. Micellar water would be really hard to take them off with!
did you put a cleanser onto the black qtip when you used it or did you just use it dry to clean your eye off with....?
I use a micellar water to clean mine of any oils, you can also use Lashify's PreCleanse.
I didnt see the option of purchasing the white bond? Have you purchased it recently??
The Whisperlight bond has one end that's white and one end thats black. There's 3 different WhisperLight options, one is a single end and then the others are dual and you pick the applicator end you want. I'm not sure which one comes in the kit now, when I got mine there wasn't multiple options.

No mine don't as long as I curl them before I apply... I've never had issues with drooping either, sorry!
when you speak of "Clear Coat" is that the same product as "Glass"?
Either the Seal and Finish or the Glass, those are both considered clear coats to remove stickiness.
is seal and finish clear coat tht you say to put on your bottom lashes the Glass crystal tube...?
You can use the Seal and finish or the Glass as a sealer, they both are sealers, just the Glass is waterproof and clear. Both are packaged in a black tube.

Does it burn your eyes ever? I just got them and the second day if my eyes water it burns, or I just had a shower and same thing, should I use more glass?
No mine don't, I'm sorry. Try applying a touch farther away from the waterline. I'm guessing the bond might cause it if it touches that part.

Do you know the difference between gossamers and brands like Ardell individual lashes? I assume the Lashify bond is the really important part of the process.
M Jack so yes brands like Ardell use cluster lashes so they are actually tied like a ball to a central point and are actually much heavier. They also can’t be glued under your lashes like this system. The gossamers band is what makes them so different and weightless so they won’t do damage to your natural lashes. And yep you’re right the bond is unlike any other lash glue out there! It’s crazy how long it lasts on the eye...
@@TheContouredChemist Well, I must say these lashes are the best ever! But I will admit, I used Ardell short lashes for my corners because I didn't have shorter gossamers. They worked fine in a pinch but you can tell they are different. I will be ordering more gossamers. Thank you so much for your reply and the video, its been extremely helpful.

When I fuse the lashes comes off with the wand,what could be the problem????😂
Wipe off your wand before you fuse to make sure there is no bond on the wand....that will do it every time! If that doesn't help, then you're probably using too much bond and its getting on the top of your lashes, so try less.
Lovely! I did them last week for 24 hrs, but my allergies got the better of me. I’m back to wearing mascara. 😢 my other issue is I’m a redhead with blonde lashes. So if I leave lashes out, it looks funny. I’m thinking of getting them tinted. Do you know if that’s safe? I’m a little scared 😱
Judy Greene I’ve never done it but I’ve heard it’s safe! Have you tried putting a thin coat of mascara on with the Lashify lashes to blend them in? I have before and it works good- you don’t need much at all! My new lashes growing in are super light too!
Thanks for the video. I was wondering about sleeping in them. I realize they've come along way in lashes, but my experience with other lashes is that you can't sleep in them without damaging them. You said you wear these for 7 days (if I heard you right)? Do you ever have any issues with that?
Judy T nope these aren’t your typical strip lashes! You do have to be careful and sleep on your back or side but yes I wear them a week no problem. It varies from person to person how long they’ll last for you. They won’t get damaged really but they may fall off in the middle of the night.

Do you let the glue get tacky before applying the gossamer? And what would a good tip on stacking?
The Whisper Light gets tacky super fast so its not like normal lash glue where you need to wait, so you can apply it right away! For stacking, there's really no right or wrong way, I just feel like I get better overall longevity when I overlap so that too ends of the gossamer are never lined up, if that makes sense. Because the ends are the first place to start pulling up and that stacked gossmer helps hold it even longer! Hope that helps!

The Contoured Chemist I ordered the control kit and needed refills so I got the Fs. Maybe I didn’t apply them correctly but they felt a little pokey.
@@gabherrera7832 Like if you blinked or closed your eyes? That happens to me occasionally and its usually due to being too close to the waterline, but any style can do that. Hopefully that's all it is! I usually can tell which one it is and I just gently pull that one off and reapply a little farther away. Blink down hard before you fuse and make sure you can't feel them first. Then fuse in place!
If you use glass do you really need the other gloss coat?? Trying to decide what I really need and can do without.

SLM 888 no if you have glass you don’t have to use the other sealer. I prefer glass since it waterproofs it. I really only use it ever since I got it 👍🏻

Micellar water contains oils 😟
Unfortunately most things do....this one doesn't affect my wear time, but that's why Lashify came out with their own Precleanse that doesn't have any in it!
The Contoured Chemist you could also use any lash shampoo for lash extensions like prolong lash for exemple, they are all oil free
