Newby here. Lilac Street by far the easiest and most comfortable. When I saw the price of Lashify compared to Lilac Street I was like nope. Can’t imagine why they are so pricey when LS are lovely. ✌🏻
Thank you for this helpful video. I am about to start doing my own lashes after years of having lash extensions at a salon and you made the process seem less intimidating.
I am super glad I watched this. I've been using Lilac St for a little while now and really wasn't getting full longevity or making them look as good as I wanted. I was letting them adhere to the waterline. Going to definitely try looking down into a mirror as well. My coloring now looks strange with the black lashes so I'm stuck with the brown Originals and possibly the Dawns. On you, my favorite looks are the mix, the Hollywoods and most of all, the Prisms. I did try the French Lace and they are also very pretty but too much on me. Bet they would look great on you.
Super helpful videos! I have sparse lashes specially in the inner and outer corners and your videos are lifesaver! Quick question, do take breaks from your lashes?
I've been wearing Extreme lash extensions for over 13+ years and loved them, but I too have sensitive eyes and have struggled with eye dermatitis, so after your videos I've finally decided to take them off! Wish me luck!!! 😬 Thank you for the video and all of your recommendations! --I also love your Seint videos!
I’ve been binge watching ur tutorials because I’m going to start doing my own lashes. Will you please show your eyelash storage? What type of storage bag/ case do you keep all your lash accessories? What eyelash essentials do you take when you travel and what do you store in? What do you wash your face with to prevent your lashes from falling? My cleanser is oil based so I’m thinking that maybe that’s not such an idea. Thank you 🌸🌸🌸🌸
I haven’t tried Lilac St, I use Lashify and reuse those lashes. I wear my lashes while working out in hot saunas as Hotworx (few times a week). I always make sure to air dry the lashes if they get wet - key is DO NOT TOUCH when wet! 😝
I’ve become obsessed with lilac st. They do make the pro glue in the white/clear too. I go back and forth on which pro glue I like better. I have the black regular glue and not as much of a fan but lilac st is my first attempt at falsies! 😆
Just started Lilac St. two weeks ago. I've never been a fake lash person because I just couldn't get them to look right. I literally learned to do these in half an hour. And they look amazing. The second round took me about 15 minutes. The longest part of it to me is cleaning the lashes for reuse. I'm so thrilled about taking the leap because I was so sick of mascara. The clumping, the fallout, needing to do it every day, and still never had great lashes. Now I do every day with one application.
Try French Lace. They are my favorite, after volume. I had extensions for 8 years and loved them, but didn't love the cost. About a year ago, I heard about Lashify and Lilac St so I bought both so I could compare. Personally, I don't like Lashify lashes at all. But I do like their glue, sealer, and tweezers. I am opposite of you in that I use the Lilac St tweezers to apply and the Lashify tweezers (with wandoms) to fuse. My favorite glue is the Lashify Whisper Light Dual-Sided. I put the black glue on my lashes and the white on the spines of the segments. All the other glues just seem too gloopy and I get way too much on my lashes. I will try using a spooly to remove extra (good tip!). I prefer the Lashify Glass for sealing due to the macro tip. I also love their precision lash comb and use the pointed tip to unstick lashes that tend to go in wonky directions. For removing, I skip both brands of remover and just soak a cotton pad in micellar water and hold on my eye for about a minute and then they all just fall off. When I'm applying, I have a magnifying mirror mounted on my bathroom wall. I can get a full week with my lashes if I do like you and avoid washing my face in the shower or hot, steamy water. But I have to be honest, I prefer the hot showers and water on my face, so I'm happy to apply my lashes twice a week. I also love sleeping on my side for part of the night, but I try to avoid letting my lashes touch the pillow (especially since I use a flannel pillow case).
Thank you, Sarah. I have been wearing Lashify, for 4 years after watching one of your videos and loved them. However, they have changed their subscription parameters and it left me disheartened. I have tried Lilac St lashes and love them. I will be canceling my Lashify subscription today.
I like a lash with curl (like D). I can't find any reference on Lilac referencing curl so I'm not sure which ones to buy. A lash with curl doesn't brush up against my glasses.
Loved your video! i started Lilac St a few weeks ago & love them so far. My problem is my outer corners are just as sparse as my inner corners. So if i come up too far on the outer das we’ll as the inner they look funny. Any suggestions on the outer corners??
I also don't go all the way to the outer corners.... I'd leave a millimeter or two and trust me no one looks at it as closely as you do! You can try shorter and more wispy styles in that outer corner too to see if that helps. The thicker and more volume styles tend to have a thicker spine and can be more obvious. Also play with different angles when adhering the outer lash, which might give it more to adhere to...it can take some trial and error!
Hi, what was the acrylate compound that you were allergic to in the Lashify bonds? I had an allergic reaction to lash extensions and I’m thinking of giving Lashify a try but I’m worried I’ll have an allergic reaction…
Just found your vidoes and going to try your method with my Lilac lashes. I have a question though...how do you remove your eye makeup without messing up the lashes? Ugh i cant figure it out .
I hated the Sleep and Glow pillow. Way too hard and expensive. I am a side sleeper and I just use the Blissy silk pillow cases. No problems with side sleeping and lashes coming off.
Lilac St can remove lashes from the box by gently pressing your finger on the lash and pull it towards you. I never use tools to remove lashes from packaging
I know this might be a dumb question but im just getting started. How do you take eye makeup (liner, shadow) off wearing the exttensions (lashify, kiss, lilac st., etc)?
Awesome thank you so much I just purchased my first Lashify kit so I’m just trying to prepare myself just in case i get a allergic reaction to the bond so i can make a easy switch over thank you again for the reply back :)@@TheContouredChemist
I noticed you only use the black glue, lashify uses both the black and white/clear glue to set lashes. Do you find you don’t need to use both that the lashes hold just as well only using the one black glue?
So I've tested and shared a lot of their techniques of using multiple bonds in other videos if you look at my Lashes playlist, but I can't use Lashify's bonds anymore since developing an allergy to them. I used Lilac St.'s pro glue only and easily get a full weeks wear or more. But even when I wore Lashify's I only needed one and could still get that longevity. It has more to do with placement and application than the type of bond in my opinion after testing them all for years.
Great info...Lilac St lashes considerably more expensive than the Amazon brand in your last video. Lilac St $10 for one pair, one size. Amazon brand $10 for 72 lashes. Am I missing something?
There's just a very limited selection of styles on the Amazon lashes and although they are very affordable they are also heavier and can be more irritating if you have sensitive eyes like I do.
I think I'm having a reaction to the lash glue, my lids are red and tender and my eyes are puffy, can you share with me your symtoms? I just order lilac st glue to see if my eyes do better with it.
I can't thank you enough I just use the lilac street glue and for the first time in weeks my eyes don't hurt. Geez now what do I do with all this lashify glue?? @@TheContouredChemist
I’ve gone swimming underwater on vacation and they still lasted until I got home 👍🏻 a waterproofing topcoat like Glass from Lashify will help! But I wasn’t even using that one- a good strong application is always key.
cool do you like one better than the other? Worth buying the lilac one. Great video, love watch you!! BTW is that a rag doll, he looks like mine. I have two and a golden retriever!@@TheContouredChemist
Personally that is way too much to do for fake lashes. I use serums for my lashes and brows twice a day. Then i use loreal white primer on my top lashes before mascara. It works just fine for me. Just saying. To each his own, i guess.. 🤷♀️
Have you tried this type of system yet?

Especially the Lashes… you can get 3 different sets from Lilac St for less than 4 Lashify… they look great, when I’m wealthier!
Thank you for this great Tute! I applied my Lilac Street lashes right along with you! 💞💞
Great video! Your eyelashes look beautiful! You've made me want to try 🙂 Thanks so much from the UK!
Hey Sarah, another great and helpful video as always. 🥰
This was sooo helpful. ☺️ thank you
What a handsome son, beautiful cat, lovely lashes - what more could a girl want? Good on you woman!

I switched over to lilac street one year ago. I actually enjoy the subscription plan❤❤❤

Use those daily pill containers. It helps
Where do you get covers for lilac street wand?
I think they can be purchased separately 👍
Have you tried the clear falscara bond & seal ?
Yep I use it all the time and it works great!

Never heard of them! I’ll have to check them out!
I think you'll like their Happy Hour lashes 🙂
Is there anything that you can actually use to cleanse your lashes with that will not disrupt the glue bond?
Yes, I use the Lash Bath kit from Lilac St.
Placement on the waterline interferes with natural lash growth … 😮
