Hi Sarah…I just discovered your channel. New to Lashify and your tips are invaluable! I’m old so I appreciated you “dumming it down” so I could follow along. Your personality is very engaging and you are adorable!! Thanks so much! I will definitely recommend! ~Cindy
I am transitioning Fromm the ridiculously expensive and time consuming habit of lash extensions. Recently committed to Lashify and I thank you for your videos!
Hallelujah - someone like me! A "mature" woman with short, thin, straight (like they cover my field of vision) lashes. My late sister always asked me, "how can you see thru your lashes". I guess I just got used to it. Mascara is not a "straight lash" woman's friend. It just adds more to your lashes so it's even harder to see "through" them. I got a lash lift and it made a little difference but not very satisfying. I looked it up and you can use a heated lash curler on gossamers. That's my plan. I didn't buy the Lashicurl they came out with but I hope the one I ordered from Amazon will help with curl.
Hey hon, Am sorry for the loss of your Sister💔. She sounds like she called it as she saw it. I have much love and respect for that. Keep her alive in your heart. I too have those STRAIGHT OUT “awning” lashes was what someone called them! 😡😖 BUT…..I DID find (after MUCH research as well as reviews from friends and references from strangers on the street whose lashes I loved……and I took the leap and got my lashes “Permed”. Don’t get me wrong, I was TERRIFIED as I am a Nurse Practitioner (Ret) but I am so AWARE of what those chemicals are and how steady of a hand a person MUST have or you won’t be seeing ANYTHING further than what is in front of your face…….So, after MUCH work, I did (by the GRACE OF G-D, find THE MOST GIFTED woman EVER to do my lashes and knowing how PARANOID I was, she actually booked me to come and WATCH her for a day that she had permission from the clients she had that day…..HOW AWESOME IS THAT? So I did, I sat there and watched her do EVERYTHING….the woman should be a Neurosurgeon as her hands are THAT STEADY!!! SO, I bit the bullet and laid on the table and she went to work……she did THE BEST JOB on my lashes SO WELL that I cancelled my appointment the following week with my Ophthalmologist to have those wee baby lashes that grow in the corners of my eyes near the tear ducts as I have Distichiasis which is a condition (hereditary/congenital) where you have several extra rows of lashes than “normal”. So….I have all of these wee “gossamer” thin and almost clear lashes that grow Willy Nilly in the inner and outer corner of my eyes…….I was going in to have them lasered OFF as they can rub and rub your sclera and even your cornea causing an infection. WELL, this beautiful and gifted woman took THAT challenge and annoying issue away in a matter of 12 minutes! She curled my lashes (and they are NOT crazy long like they were when I was young (Women’s lacrimal glands stop producing that luscious oil that kept our lashes long, until we are post pubescent…..MEN’s lacrimal glands don’t really ever stop…😡 LOL). Once she was done…..I was HOOKED. I asked questions to the point that I was certain she was going to waterboard me on the table as I was THAT annoying I am sure! BUT one question was WHY did mine work out so well when my friends are NOT as STRAIGHT as mine and hers would NOT “curl”. Her answer was quick and easy…….”It is ALL about the solution”. The solution must be NEW and not have sat for long as well as how it is stored etc. not to mention how long it stays and how thick it is applied……it IS an art. SOOOOOO……my point to you sweet girl, is DO NOT GIVE UP on that lash curl/perm. Do the work and find YOUR person because it will NOT disappoint and you WILL find that ONE Goddess who is a genius at this! It makes ALL the difference in the world. She also laminated my brows which was cool but It is not really my vibe but it was fun for a while and it DID train some of the wacky brows to stay and grow the proper direction. She also tinted my lashes and brows all in one go. It wasn’t expensive and since I am NOT a mascara girl, it lasts a LONG time. I do use Lashify as well and having my weird lashes be under control really DOES make a difference when the lashify go on. Don’t give up girl……it IS worth it. Promise and pinky swear! Be well and look after yourself ❤❤❤❤
Great update! I have been using Lashify for about 4 yrs. I also have sparse lashes on the inner corner and a trick I do is use Seint eyeliner in black or a brown shadow and line from the inner gossamer to my tear duct. It kind of hides that I do have a lash placed there. Thank you for such great tutorials!
You turned me onto Lashify and I have been pleased with it even though I didn’t get the longevity you and others do. But my goodness! I followed the instructions that you laid out in this video and I’ve had 12 days and they are not falling off. I think a key was using the micellar water on the Q-tip to clean the lashes before hand. I’ve also been wiping my eyelids with the micellar water (I’m oily too). I slightly overlapped not quite a brick stack and these babies are solid. Thank you so much!
I purchased the entire Lashify kit a few years ago. Apparently, I have not mastered the technique because after one night's sleep 1/2 have fallen off. Totally frustrating but maybe if I get the less expensive lashes I can try again and not a big hit on the expenses. I too have small eyes so the wand is truly difficult. Thanks for the tutorial!
Lashify's just came in the mail - going to give this all a whirl!! Thanks once again Sarah!! I appreciate you!! You have changed so much of my beauty products and routine - your videos are amazing and I love the detail!!
Happy New Year Sarah! Thanks for this update, I have been SO happy with Lashify, but thanks to your earlier video, I’m also using the Amazon dupes, which are great and I don’t feel guilty about tossing them! You’re the best!!!
Thank you so much for making this video. I have been watching a lot of lashify tutorials and still needed more information. I have the same eye size as you do. Your information is so much more than anyone I have watch. I am a new year and I have not made a purchase yet. I have now ready to go for a starter kit.
Thank you for this! I really loved this updated video. I have recently been getting some irritation and might consider changing the bond too. The placement tips is so helpful and i will definitely try it on my next lash application! You're the best!
i just ordered my first lashify kit! i've been getting extensions for 3 years now and it's just too much time and money.. thanks for this informative video :)
Thank you for this video. I have a few questions. 1. I'm older and need eye cream every day and night. Is this going to mess up the retention? If so do you recommend a lash-friendly eye cream? 2. My first attempt went great but then I showered and they came off immediately. I have to shower twice a day because of my job. I can't really imagine how to not get my lashes wet. I have to scrub out all the makeup from my pores and this requires lots of water so not a sink thing. Do you wear goggles in the shower? (I already ordered some) 3. Similar question to #1 ... at night I use face serums and creams. I am a side sleeper. I have a beauty pillow that I love but there is no doubt I'll be getting creams and crap on my lashes eventually in the night. Does this not effect retention? I can't imagine other women DONT wear creams and such to bed... 4. How do you clean the lashes & your eye area while they are on your face? I swear in this video you said with the micellar water but I tried that and they came off. How do you remove eyeliner, shadow, etc from your eyes each night before bed? Thank you so much.
Will you please list the items and where I can purchase them. You tested so many and must have found out what works best. It would really help my to start trying this and have beautiful eyes like you. Thank you!
I started using LASHIFY in late 11/2018 because of you. Love loooove LASHIFY but agree 100% on everything you said and even prefer the adhesive you used but also have everything LASHIFY even the 2 vaults, 2 robes, 2 sweat pants and 2 sweaters 🤣🤣🤣 zero regrets. I also bought a few dupes but prefer LASHIFY and was a E girl and now live starburst (SB) ❤
I used lashify to moxie. Started looking for a more affordable alternative and actually like the beylians. If you want short term use the bond and lock is okay but for extended wear I wouldn’t recommend.
Thanks soooooooo much for this video it was so very helpful! 55yrs young newbie and I love the lashes. Started with mags but changed to individuals took a little longer to apply but getter faster and better but will be much better better after this! Thanks Thanks again
Does falscara have issues with fumes/formaldehyde/cyanoacrylates? (I read the ingredients, but I'm not a chemist haha) Thank you SO much for your videos!!
Love your videos, you have me sold on Lashify. Just waiting for my CK! Tw questions: 1. I love and do not want to change my skin care which includes under eye creams (Clinique) and oils from Sunday Riley. Should I be concerned about stuff like this breaking the bond on the Lashify system? Of course I'm careful not to put any of the products that close to my eye. Never really had issues with this stuff with the extensions. 2. Any reason why I can't use a doefoot applicator to clean instead of a black Q-tip?
Very informative Thnx. Says Micellar H2O expires 6 mos after opening- didn’t you say you’ve been using same bottle for several years?? 😮 Just ordered Lashify gossamers with Falscara as your suggestion as I too have had dermatitis due to makeup. Thanks again!
I’m not sure if they’re still doing this deal because I had it emailed to me maybe 3 months ago. But I got a “trial kit” for free with a gossamer purchase. It came with sample sized bonds but a full size wand. So I got the wand for free with my gossamers
Thank you for your video. I just ordered the starter kit. I’m concerned because I live in Florida and sweat a great deal. Any suggestions for longevity while sweating? Also, I’m addicted to wearing a sleep mask. Have you found one that works and doesn’t hit the lashes?
Sweat shouldn’t affect them much, it’s mainly oils that cause them to break down. If your application is solid you shouldn’t have any longevity issues. Sorry I don’t use a sleep mask, but I’ve seen a ton- just search for contour sleep mask- they have some even on Amazon 👍
@@nikkilumsden9332 I did! And I do like it very much. I used other cut out type pillows so it wasn’t completely foreign to me. The silk pillowcase fits like a glove. It’s not super heavy either which I like.
Also did the lashify bonds give you a reaction? Bc that’s why I had to stop lash extensions so I am very nervous about trying. I thought Lashify was going to be better bc they have no cyanoacrylates but they still have acrylates, so I guess I will try and see. But maybe I’ll just try falscara instead to prevent any issues.😓
I actually tried Lashify and have had zero issues and I love it! They truly are the best, the imitations just don't cut it. Best quality lashes, bonds etc. so give it a try! :)
Hello it’s not clear to me which size and curl of the Amazon lashes to get. I think the video was 14 and 16 but the LTK has a different length. Thanks :)
Hi, I'm wondering if you could tell me . . . this is my first experience with lashify. I began this past monday and suddenly I developed a very dense patch of hives across my neck and wondering if that ingredient that you didn't mention could have caused this. Do the other bonders not have that ingredient?
What is it that you were allergic to? You said you figured it out. (I do had an allergy same symptoms and when I switched bonds it was magic, but I'd like to know the chemical so I don't waste my money in the future.
Yes you can apply mascara, but if you're wanting to reuse them then it will be harder to clean. They either can start falling off, some types the spine starts breaking down due to oils so each segment breaks apart and they can fall off and mostly they just don't look as great after a week, especially if you wear eye makeup a lot. You'll want to remove them and get a fresh set on!
So I have been watching your videos and love the look of your lashes. I have very sensitive eyes and mascara tends to just cause my eyes to itch so I tend not bother. Do you find that you have less irritation with the lashes?
If my application placement is good I can’t feel them at all and have no irritation. But it would depend on how your eyes tolerated the bond (since the Lashify bond is extremely irritating to mine). Hard to say unless you try… 😕
If you click the link in the caption, there is my playlist of all my lash videos and I did an entire video on how I do my skincare routine with the lashes on.
If, for a random miracle, your eyes were no longer irritated with the Lashify system would you stay with the Falscara, or would you go back to the Lashify system? I have issues with the stickiness of the Falscara, but this video makes me want to try again. I just don't want to get completely discouraged, either.
@@TheContouredChemist did you do a video on the Lilac St? Thanks for this video - I always thought overlapping was for more volume, so I never did it. Your explanation about butting edges was a lightbulb moment for me. Can't wait to try it! 😊
I tried Lashify after watching a few of your older videos on them. Love them! My eyes have gotten sensitive to mascaras, but Lashify doesn’t bother me at all! And I am SUPER sensitive! It’s wonderful being able to run out of the house even without having to do my makeup and feel great. And with Seint makeup and now Lashify I can literally get ready in under five minutes. 🙌🏻
I use an eyeliner brush, the thicker flat version, and a paper towel to clean off the bond. Works amazing and I don't have to use qtips or try to hang on to them with the wand. Brushes them out nicely and is so fast. I paid like $10 for an eyeliner brush with a cover on it at target.
Wow! That was the most informative video ever! I feel like I HAVE to try this now!!! Your lashes look like really good natural lashes. I actually think not going all the way in looks perfect 🤩
So, what I'm understanding is that after 5 years, the only thing you use from Lashify is the tool and sometimes the gossamers? I've just started using Falscara and they work well, I got 7 days out of the 1st set I ever put on. I did lose some natural lashes on removal, but I think I way overdid it with the bond, so the removal wasn't as easy as it should have been. I'm wondering what the value is in spending $125 instead of $20. Let's face it, they're false eyelashes, it isn't exactly rocket science. Excellent video and great tips all around tho, job well done.
Thank you for all the tips! I just got the falscara kit just to see if I even like the concept in practice of under lashes. I haven’t tried it yet because my natural lashes are blonde. I tried getting them tinted but it didn’t take. I’m so worried I’m going to look psychotic with blonde roots and tops of lashes with these black extensions 😅 so now waiting for my day off in case it goes too off the rails hahahaha
First of all thank you so much for all this helpful information!! I ordered the lashes you linked on Amazon- the 10 mm and the 12 and they are both very curly - too curly for my hooded aging eyes. The ones I got in my falscara kit are much straighter. Can you give me any guidance on Amazon ones that are straighter? Thank you kindly!
@@EmpressKadesh I have an entire video on my skincare regimen while wearing lashes so you get the best longevity of your lashes. It’s in my Lashes playlist 👍
I love your eyeshadow at the end of the video, do you know what colors they are? I’m going to try these tricks to see if I can get a bit more longevity from mine, I bet the miceller water before applying will help a lot.
Drop any questions I didn't cover in the comments below!

I have a newbie comment. Are all eyelash clusters made to go under the lashes ?
So I have been watching your videos and love the look of your lashes. I have very sensitive eyes and mascara tends to just cause my eyes to itch so I tend not bother. Do you find that you have less irritation with the lashes?
If my application placement is good I can’t feel them at all and have no irritation. But it would depend on how your eyes tolerated the bond (since the Lashify bond is extremely irritating to mine). Hard to say unless you try… 😕
@@TheContouredChemist Thank you!
I get allergic reactions to lash extensions. Will I most likely have a reaction to lashify?
What are the must have lashify products?
Can you also use the Garnier micellar water that has the turquoise top that removes waterproof makeup ? It says no oil on the bottle…
If it's oil free then yes!
What do you use to remove your eye shadow and liner?
If you click the link in the caption, there is my playlist of all my lash videos and I did an entire video on how I do my skincare routine with the lashes on.
Can someone please tell me where the description box is?
Under the video where the caption is. Depending on your device you either click more or a drop-down arrow to open it up 👍🏻
You do not add bond to the lash (gossamer) before applying to the natural lash?
Nope, never. I have tried it though… I’ve tried everything 🤪
@@TheContouredChemist thank you!
If, for a random miracle, your eyes were no longer irritated with the Lashify system would you stay with the Falscara, or would you go back to the Lashify system? I have issues with the stickiness of the Falscara, but this video makes me want to try again. I just don't want to get completely discouraged, either.
I actually prefer Lilac St now. No irritation and their lashes are more weightless and SO much cheaper 😜
@@TheContouredChemist did you do a video on the Lilac St? Thanks for this video - I always thought overlapping was for more volume, so I never did it. Your explanation about butting edges was a lightbulb moment for me. Can't wait to try it! 😊
@@windflowermarket6958 I have over on Instagram but I will do one over here soon! So happy it helped you!

Am I able to apply lashes to my lower lash line?
I've never tried to be honest and I'm not sure what the longevity would be like, but I know Lashify comes in 8 mm so that could possibly work.
Do you wear colored contact lenses in yr eyes?
Beautiful
For decades women have used a simple wooden toothpick to separate lashes. Never some sharp metal instrument.
Timestamps would help in a 1 hr video
That is a dental pick. Sand it down
Lashify is so overpriced. It's so easy to find alternatives for half the money
This is amazing! Thank you!!
Starburst is my very very favorite. I knew it the moment I laid eyes on them.
I have a feeling that after this video 2023 is the year I finally try lashes. 🥰
Well. Did you try them?
So, what I'm understanding is that after 5 years, the only thing you use from Lashify is the tool and sometimes the gossamers? I've just started using Falscara and they work well, I got 7 days out of the 1st set I ever put on. I did lose some natural lashes on removal, but I think I way overdid it with the bond, so the removal wasn't as easy as it should have been. I'm wondering what the value is in spending $125 instead of $20. Let's face it, they're false eyelashes, it isn't exactly rocket science. Excellent video and great tips all around tho, job well done.
Great video - so glad you did an update!! Your comments have been spot on in which lashify items you need!
I love your lashes. Where do I buy EVERYTHING you mentioned in this video?
First of all thank you so much for all this helpful information!! I ordered the lashes you linked on Amazon- the 10 mm and the 12 and they are both very curly - too curly for my hooded aging eyes. The ones I got in my falscara kit are much straighter. Can you give me any guidance on Amazon ones that are straighter? Thank you kindly!
Please help!! I watched your entire video hoping you would say something about how to maintain the lashes between applications. :(
@@EmpressKadesh besides fusing daily, what do you mean by maintaining?
@TheContouredChemist I guess I figured it out myself. I just washed my eye makeup off with regular bar soap like I usually do and they stayed on.
@@EmpressKadesh I have an entire video on my skincare regimen while wearing lashes so you get the best longevity of your lashes. It’s in my Lashes playlist 👍
This was the BEST video and I’ve watched many before I put mine falscaras on thank you so much!
I love your eyeshadow at the end of the video, do you know what colors they are? I’m going to try these tricks to see if I can get a bit more longevity from mine, I bet the miceller water before applying will help a lot.
I wear Lashify for the last 2 years thanks for the tips
Wish i had seen this before i bought my contril kit ( a's)
Have you tried the tulip ones?
Ur a great teacher! Thank you!
I need this just got my lit so on time 😊😊😂😂❤❤
Great video! Thank you very much❤
what is the name of the bond you using?
