Being right means nothing when they drop the topic once the exposure happens. I used to love Rand but now I see he’s just another actor in this political theater. Holds expensive congressional hearings, exposes issues and those involved…then no follow through is even attempted. Aww, poor baby! My first job at 19, I left home at 6am to walk to the train station to catch the 6:15 train to the city, walked from that station (with several hundred other people) to work, worked all day, walked back to the train station, rode the train home, then walked from the home station to my home getting there at 6:30pm. I have no sympathy for her. And she doesn't live in the city. She lives in the suburbs.

I totally agree with that woman honestly. I have been doing 9-5's for almost 20 years and hate it. I also have some chronic fatigue issues and seem to need more sleep than most people, but all I do is work, eat, and sleep. I really feel like my existence is almost nothing but being a drone for some corporation. I am creative and make music, but feel like I never have time to even do that, much less date or hang out with friends.

I will say it for ya. Yes all cities are like that. My 20 yr old daughter will stay with me until she is married. No matter what age that will be. Then I will go live with her and her husband. What are you talking about sending your kids off? These aren’t kids, this girl is a 21 years old adult. She can do whatever she wants. However, she obviously doesn’t have what it takes to make it. She’s complaining about working 9 to 5. People in their 20’s have to start at the bottom, it takes a lot of work to gain experience and put in your dues. If you aren’t willing to do what it takes, just stay in your Podunk town and work at Starbucks, why even go to college?

A lot of western women are out of alignment with their true nature: being wives, mothers, homemakers and caretakers and they've become a slave to corporations instead.
I was in similar situations with work at around the same age. At first I had a job I wavered between hating and tolerating and a so-so commute. It took me 30 mins in the morning and somehow longer, 45 mins in the evening. This was in the late 90s-early ‘00s. I did manage to find the energy to go to the gym after work about 3 days a week. I was gone from 8:00am - 7:00-30pm most days and didn’t mind the time away from home or the commute but hated the job. Then I found a job I really liked but despised the commute. I commuted 40 miles one way, it took an hour to and from so I spent 2 hours everyday commuting. It was brutal but before kids manageable. This was in the early years of my marriage in the mid-‘00s.
I knew the commute would make the work-motherhood juggle even harder and started to look for more local jobs before I had kids but had no luck. I was living in a rural part of the state and most jobs in my field were at least an hour away, but my husband was lucky enough to work in a field with more opportunities in our area and the cost of living was lower in the rural area. When I got pregnant, my employer was willing to work with me and I was able to start back part-time and work from homes some days. Even with these accommodations thoug, I hated leaving my kid in daycare 10-12 hours a day, hated fitting in pumping during the workday but really wanted to breastfeed. I realized even if a more manageable commute, the employed Mom life sucked. I was able to be a SAHM for a couple of years after my second was born. I had to go back but have consistently worked part time and since 2014 have been doing part-time self-employed work from home.
And I'm a Christian so naturally I'm a chavanist so I always consider it a compliment when someone says that. Most of the time I thank them. And yeah young girl is going to cry and be dramatic... But there's no way in hell that I would want my 21-year-old daughter to live in a big city by herself these days.

Regarding the election, I've made the argument before that a Democrat president is almost better because all of the conservative talking heads and everyone else is up in arms over everything they do. By comparison Republican presidents get a pass from conservatives on everything. Also I know for a fact that in my district people would be more actively engaged in what their congressman was doing about the president. They didn't seem to care when there was a republican who was the president because they had a false sense of security.

I was a young mother and I got to stay home I went to work around the time my daughter was 9 well it's back to school dental school. And it was not easy dealing with the doctor and the office politics and coming home and doing my house and everything. So I quit and went back to being a stay-at-home mother like I did the first 7 years of her life I'm pretty sure that little girl can go home she didn't say her parents sent her there and she doesn't need no husband at 21 nope
