First time a credits sequence has completely broken me. The familiar animation style, the beautiful song, seeing all the characters happy, the Kyle Hyde cameo and even recognizing familiar CiNG developers in the staff roll that comes after this... Now I can only hope that some day Hotel Dusk and Last Window get such a lovingly crafted remake.
I just finished this today.. i had to let out a few tears as this played, i won't lie. I never heard of cing or any of their games up until last year's direct, but i'm do happy i discovered this series..
I really, really hope that reference to Kyle Hyde means that we're getting a similar collection of his games. Just finished the game and stood up screaming when I saw Kyle Hyde appearing in the credits. Man, I don't want to wait another 10 to 15 years to play another Hotel Dusk or Another Code game.......please buy this game. It's worth every penny.
Just beat the collection and words cannot express how magic these credits were. I never played the original games, or Hotel Dusk, but now I am completely sold. It's so obvious in these credits just how much the team cared about these games. PLEASE let a remake of Hotel Dusk happen Nintendo. You let this remake happen and you let it be beautiful, so you can do it again!
Playing the original games (especially AC : R) will feel like you're playing a new one. You might miss some adds from the new game, but a bunch of very emotional moments were cut from the 2009 version. ❤
Just finished this last night and i was a little upset at first that Ashley didnt have one final scene with Matthew but then the credits came and im like oh ok good. I really hope this series comes back it made me a fan.
Damn, this song really hit me. The chorus especially. The vocals and strings go together so SO well. Not gonna lie. Made me cry. They did fantastic woth this song. Contextualized with the game, this is textbook bitter sweet.
Im going need a CD for the OST Nintendo! The music in this game harks back to that era of Nintendo, very chill Wii sportsy vibe of music for the relaxing outdoors, and JC valley’s theme is so Metroid Prime! I love this ending song it’s so hopeful and triumphant for completing an amazing game. The team showed their love and care for this collection. I hope to see Kyle Hyde and Ashely in a new game!
Normally remasters cut songs out that they dont have copyight for anymore (looking at you Okami and No more heroes) in this case we got a new song added in, unexpected and amazing !
So beautiful !!! This almost make me cry from happiness but a little sadness at the same time because they choose to close Mathew's plot that in the original was let open pretty much because was planned in a sequel

@@LittleFrostyPrincess Maybe I'm wrong, but from what I could see, here are the mistakes that I think I saw. "There are made but steaks" -> "There are made mistakes" "Carry on, get can through it" -> "Carry on, gotta get through it" "And for all, and the struggles I had been through" -> "And for all the struggles I had been through." Well, I don't really speak english so maybe I made some mistakes too, but I think the best is to look at the accurate lyrics on internet. Once again, have a good day !
Очень приятная композиция из очень приятной коллекции игр, спасибо за перезалив! Странно что авторы в меню такую годноту не дали возможность послушать/посмотреть, только после прохождения.
Review of Another Code Recollection: Although technically better in almost every way to the original games (of which I played both), it's spiritually nowhere near as appealing, as the remaster essentially attempts to upgrade them into "Life is Strange: Anime Edition", but it does everything slightly worse and more stale/outdated compared to something like Life is Strange, and in general it feels very much like a very bland and middling subpar version of better games in the genre. I think that those with extreme nostalgic memories of Tracy Memory/Two Mmeories, and especially those with vivid memories of playing the sequel Another Code R, will be thoroughly entertained by the ongoing "whoa, this is what I remember playing, but with voices & 3D environments & stuff!" feeling. New players will be left with a feeling of "tis was okay". Overall just very "meh". as far as an actual game is concerned. It loses the charm that made the originals so good. As someone who played the original Another Code R, I can tell you that for all its flaws, lack of voice acting, and general late 2000s Wii jank, I prefer the original version. The version in this is technically better in almost every way (and they included a new plot twist, which was a nice surprise for anyone who played the original), but as a result the game just ends up being a very okay, and vaguely enjoyable experience. Whereas the original game, for as janky and flawed as it was, felt much more emotionally fulfilling--because it was such a clear janked up passion project sequel to an obscure (and not that critically well received) game that was clearly made because those involved just felt passionately about Ashley & her story and wanted to tell you more. Which is a feeling this version just completely lacks. It seems weird to critize a game for being "too good", I know, but here we are. That is the exact problem. It loses its charm and thus it loses any reason for really being loved so fondly. Overall (TLDR); The middling low 70s metacritic is entirely fair. It's a technically better game, but at the consequence of removing the charm that made the originals, particularly the Wii sequel, actually appealing in the first place). What you're left with is a very 'okay' game that isn't really anything special, and just leaves you with a somewhat bland feeling.
@@Yoshizuyuner 1) I don't play Pokemon (I had to look up what "Scarlet & Violet" was referencing, although I realized in retrospect), 2) The idea of nostalgic jank charm is hardly something I invented. Obviously I am not saying that I prefer games to be janky. I am saying that Another Code/Trace Memory was only ever "good" to its fan because of "niche jank game" syndrome, and this remake more or less proved that to me I still personally love An other Code, but I'll be the first to admit that that love is purely nostalgic & personal. There was a reason those games didn't do well when they first came out--they just flatly weren't that good and only really survived on hitting a very niche spot of emtoional interest for specific types of people. All this remake is gonna do is showcase to everyone how true that is. It's not just me saying this, this is the general critical consensus
@@chariotgoblin8060 I like the design direction of the game. I think that the Kyle Hyde getting remade could definitely be a thing, although after the incredibly lukewarm reception to Recollection, I really don't know. Hi. I am totally new to another code. I got this because I heard that people really enjoyed the original games and were surprised that they got a remake. Maybe I'm just more tolerant to certain aspects of game design when they're done in certain ways, but I thought the game was a wonderful, sweet little bite of an adorable story. Maybe I'm just the type of person to latch on to the good in things, but I thought these games were great personally.

It would be great if this collection helps get more “Another Code” games produced because it feels like there could be more adventures.
For everyone who played the game, am I the only one imagining Elizabeth singing it? The singer's voice fits her so well!
I honestly think this is more like Ashley's song for the band contest. It just makes more sense.
Massive thanks to Nintendo for remastering my childhood 😊😊😊

To The Place I call Home (Lyrics)
Looking at myself,
I the waterflowing bawling lake of sounds of telling me
all the painful memories
Thinking of my past,
and remembering the days when I was smiling all the time,
and it hope it comes
But I know I get there when my sunshine is
I hope the fire in me burn once again
The lessons I have learned are a part of me
At it make me strong everyday
I keep telling myself that it takes another step or two
For the one and for all of the struggles I had been through
Cause I want, I want to go
To the paradise, to the place I call home
I can't help bit, but to think
The crapping sounds, the myseries
Finding this faking and now I'm not alone
For sure I'll make it there where I fight to be
In the place where I would find myself surely
Better days will come to me I take another step
I know that I will be the best version of myself
I keep trying to be the best that I could ever be
To the days there are made but steaks but I still do believe
Time, I want to go, to the paradise, to the place I want to call home
I can run I'm even make it
(Even even sounds last of me)
I can I now I'm make it
(To come inside this away)
Carry on, get can through it
Everything will be away
I know I will be this flame
I keep telling myself that it takes another step or two for the go and for all and the struggles I had been through
Cause I, I want to go
To the paradise, to the place I want to call home
PD: I wrote it for hear it, I hope all lyrics are ok.

Indeed mr. swizzle, indeed.
2:50 Kyle Hyde!
The hidden nods to Hotel Dusk in this game are something.
Here's hoping that means both games are in for a "Recollection" treatment next.

Is there another credits sequence where it shows the developers?
Yes
Yep, right after this sequence. It plays an instrumental version of this song.
Why doesn't this song have a Japanese version?
Is it Elizabeth who sing?
Jolliane Salvado sing this song
