It was that the number of female was x, and then the number of males + females was x + x + 3 = 2x + 3 = 27. Then I solved that to get the number of females, x as 12
What would you say is the most frequently asked type in decision making. I really struggle with logical puzzles and plan to guess every single one of them😀
I'd highly recommend that you write down as much of the equation as you can. Don't be afraid to use variables like x and y to come to the answer you need
At 10:51 why can't there be 3 red cars? I got the question right but it was intuition not logic and i have no idea why there cannot be 3 red cars. Also at 17:52 where did you get 2x+3 from? i suck at these types of questions.
There can't be 3 red cars because of the 5 cars, they tell you that 2 sedans are green. Of the remaining 3 cars, they tell you that 1 is blue. Therefore Sam and Rosie must have red hatchbacks.
I've already answered the one about 17:52 in the comments, but - it was that the number of females was x, and then the number of males + females was x + x + 3 = 2x + 3 = 27. Then I solved that to get the number of females, x as 12
For the strongest argument questions, if you have two statements that closely coincide with each other in terms of addressing the key issue in the question, how do you differentiate between the two? Do you look at opinion vs fact?
Usually you look for things like, reasoning behind why the argument might work or opinion vs fact yeah. Often it just boils down to how relevent the argument actually is
Do you have to get a full 29 to get 900 in DM? Also, how do partial marks work in syllogisms (like if you get 1/5 and 4/5 do they both equate to a partial mark?). Cheers!
When approaching DM, do you just to it straight off the bat from question 1-29 or do you look for certain ones and do them first? e.g. Venn diagrams, Argument questions, Evaluating conclusions, Graph related questions then Syllogisms
I'm pretty confident in DM so I just go straight through in order, however if there are hard syllogisms, logic puzzles or data questions I will skip those pretty much straight away

The most helpful channel out there when it comes to Ucat !!!
Thank you!
the amount of time you moved your hands!! THIS IS DONE DILEBRATLY AND IS SO FUNNY!!!!!!!
Thanks Emil your channel is super helpful :)!
thank you so much!
That was great!!!
Can you please do a video of you attempting a whole sub test on the other sections like you did for verbal reasoning
Yep! I'll be releasing those sometime pretty soon, probably in the coming weeks!
@syntrez Love to hear it!
@@EmilEddy lol
for the last question, why did you write 2x for females?
It was that the number of female was x, and then the number of males + females was x + x + 3 = 2x + 3 = 27. Then I solved that to get the number of females, x as 12
This was really helpful tysm!
Hi there,
For Q13(the interpreting data question), can you assume that the 'amount of component extracted' is the same as 'dissolving in water'?
Good pick up, I didn't really like that question, but yes you can
What would you say is the most frequently asked type in decision making. I really struggle with logical puzzles and plan to guess every single one of them😀
SOOO helpful
What is the best way and approach to tackle and practice mathematical type questions? especially ones where you need to build an equation?
I'd highly recommend that you write down as much of the equation as you can. Don't be afraid to use variables like x and y to come to the answer you need

@@EmilEddy yo thanks for the tremendous help that you have given me. Appreciate it
What package did you use for preparation?
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, but I used both Medify and Medentry - I didn't go to any workshops, just used the online platforms.

What resources did u use for the whole ucat preparation? Just Medify??
I used both Medify and Medentry :)
@@EmilEddy how did you find medentry? Would it be necessary to use both?
@@도롱-o3z Medentry and Medify were both good in my opinion, although it definitely wasn't necessary to use both!

It's very likely you need 28 or 29 for 900 in DM. With syllogisms, if you get 5/5, full marks, if you get 4/5 partial marks, if you get 3/5, no marks
go boi
Do you have your screen zoomed out, because my medify seems way more zoomed in making me have to scroll down for all questions
I don't think my screen is zoomed out, I might just have a bigger monitor
