4:22 - I thought some was 'at least one' rather than more than one? So according to the statement we know at least one town is popular as is the 'most' popular? Just a tad confused as to how the word 'some' is defined...
Hi Emil, for the second question of this subtest, the 5th statement states that 'Some economically important nightshades are edible'. why cant the answer be 'No'? Even tho, Nightshades grown in the northern hemisphere are edible, but there is not enough information in the premise to support that 'there are actually nightshades growing in the northern hemisphere'. If we can not conclude there are definitely Nightshade in northern hemisphere, how can we conclude 'Yes' there are edible nightshades?
on the 5th question you have to be able to get 3 As as all students who studied chem got an A and the requirment is As in physics and biology so youd have to get AAA to get into med school
for the syllogism about med school, bio, chem and physics. Are you meant to assume Amanda and Rebecca do not go to that high school, so its possible they got a B in Chemistry
also for earl got A B in physics so he cannot attend that High School, i thought the answer would be No, because if you get a B in physics it does not mean that you cant go to high school it means you cant go to med school
Hey Emil, while I was attempting Medentry and Medify, I noticed I couldn't review specific questions on Medify as I could in Medentry (instead I could only review either all/incomplete/flagged). Would this be the case in the actual UCAT?
hi emil! thanks for a super helpful video! I noticed you were able to navigate the test very easily without using the mouse. Do you mind sharing what keyboard shortcuts you used? particularly to move quickly between those you left blank/those you marked?
For this particular colour (blue), we know there are 2 of them in the bag out of 5. So the chance of the person drawing the Blue on the first draw would be 2/5; hence after this has taken place, the number of counters is 4 in total (as one is taken out). Furthermore, the number of blue counters is NOW 1 because he has taken one out. Thus when the second draw occurs, the chance of getting the other Blue in a row is 1/4. So that is why he multiplied 2/5 by 1/4. For red, you do the same thing, but because there are 3 out of 5, you do 3/5 times 2/4 times 1/3.
6:06 the first option should be yes because she cant go to med school without an A in physics and biology and the question already says everybody got an A in chemistry . Please justify .
@@its_not_lux not always accurate, I got the exact same mark in 2 DM subtests but the score was different (by about 50), it's dependent on the difficulty of the exam

Got my ucat tomorrow ive been watching you to get some exam technique and it’s really helped so far thanks 🙏
Your videos are so helpful, thank you so much for all the effort
This is an amazing series, THANK YOU
Thank you for your video, using an iPad so we could see the notes was really helpful too!

yo do you have to pay to do this test

yes it would
It's best to practice only using review all/incomplete/flagged, rather than clicking on specific questions

alt n is next, alt p is previous
alt + f = flag
Just Google it bruh.
See in question 27 21:23 why do you multiply 2/5 by 1/4 I just don’t get probability at all 😔
same dont get that

Yo how do you do venn diagram questions so easily. It really stuffs up my brain. Could you please hel pme out.
For question 5 at 6:08 , how is the second statement "no"? Is it because you are assuming that Rebecca did not go to the highschool?
was wondering the exact same thing
She couldve got a B in a different subject
Hi Emil, I don’t get the bakery cookie question. How did you figure out that the first 2 answers were not the right answers?
Hi Emil, do you know an estimate of what score in DM out of 39 would get you an 800+ scaled score? Thanks!
Depends on the relative difficulty of the subtest, but usually over 30 can get you close to 800
6:06 the first option should be yes because she cant go to med school without an A in physics and biology and the question already says everybody got an A in chemistry . Please justify .
Not necessarily. The passage doesn't say people in Medical school must study all three science subjects, instead only Physics and Biology.
If I were to get a 680 in this sub test, how many questions wrong do you think that would be?
Just use a score calculator online, smh.
@@its_not_lux not always accurate, I got the exact same mark in 2 DM subtests but the score was different (by about 50), it's dependent on the difficulty of the exam
you got 30 questions wrong mate. smd
how did you know that shelf A is empty? Q9
read the question carefully :))
22:54 im lost why arent we just doing 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4
Where the first rabbit goes doesn't matter. Try drawing a tree diagram to consider all the options
