Tatum was one rebound away form a triple double and played great defense
His defense was much worse than I expected. Luka repeatedly cooked him in isolation.

@@bd2378he played really good defense. Luka is just that good. Basically every bucket took multiple moves and were contested. That's all you can ask for against truly great offensive players. The shots just still went in. That's going to happen.

They lose that game tonight if it weren't for the easy shots he generated by getting into the middle of the defense and finding open teammates. Bro you ignorant. Kyrie had 3 straight 30 point games. If he had 30 Celtics would be losing at least one of those games….you all got the choke version of Kyrie. When he played the Wolves there was good D and he just was making contested 3 after contested 3. He has been open at times against the Celtics and is choking. Also refs called the series against Minnesota differently. The whole Minnesota starting line up almost fouled out because the refs called every little thing and even some things that weren’t there. Derrick White is far from the Celtics most impactful player, Jaylen Brown is guarding the Mavericks best player and giving him fits, Jrue Holiday is guarding Kyrie Irving and clamping him. White is a point guard and Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum both had way more assist than him in this game.

Luka has been playing hero ball plain and simple, yea he's getting his shots, filling up the stat sheet, but he's not getting anybody involved, when he can't shoot he throws wild passes or even a wild shoot, basketball is a rhythm game, and he's not letting any teammate build momentum
Celtics have a lot to lose if they don't win this series. That being said they also have a lot more offensive players and defensive players than Mavs who only have Kyrie and Luka.
