I think this is a good move for the warriors and klay in general. I think Klay can't play the third option while being at Golden state if they can't find a decent 2nd option. Being the 3rd or 4th on the Mavericks might just revitalize Klays game, especially with some of the scoring pressure lifted off his shoulders. It's sad to see him go and he will be missed, but i think he can go clear his mind and game somewhere else; it might be better for him in the long run.

Dynasties never end clean. Lakers (both Showtime and the Shaq/Kobe team), Bulls, Heat, Celtics, none end on a happy note. It sucks, but they probably should have moved on from Klay about a year ago. Klay is gonna be hurt, but give it a few years when it's retirement time, that bridge will get rebuilt.
Spurs are probably the exception if you don’t consider Kawhi’s exit as part of it as he was only there for 1 championship & was young. Duncan, Parker, & Manu all left on great notes with the Spurs.

I think this is a good move for the warriors and klay in general. I think Klay can't play the third option while being at Golden state if they can't find a decent 2nd option. Being the 3rd or 4th on the Mavericks might just revitalize Klays game, especially with some of the scoring pressure lifted off his shoulders. It's sad to see him go and he will be missed, but i think he can go clear his mind and game somewhere else; it might be better for him in the long run.
