I've got 55 k on my 2015 jeep srt and I've gotta say it's just been basic upkeep not much to complain about. The carbon fiber trim does peel and break but other than that engine/transmission is solid 👌.
Just sold my 2014 SRT today and I'm a little depressed about it. Started giving me issues at 70k as a daily. Order the 2021 Trackhawk but have to wait 2-3 months 😤. Glad to hear the issues with the 2014/2015 (especially the carbon fiber) have been resolved.
do you plan to keep it beyond the 3yr bumper to bumper warranty period? I have seen a good amount of people trade them in around that time hence why there are a good amount of them still under 36K miles.

Honestly, I wouldn’t settle for the srt. Be patient and get the track hawk, it’s a world of difference.

I have a 18 SRT, bought new. Only issues I’ve had at 33k is the Uconnect freezing up when cold. Sometimes I wish I had waited for a TH. Great daily driver for the PNW.

Yeah my Uconnect will freeze sometimes and not change my songs lol I’ll have to turn the car all the way off and back on again smh
Once in awhile My 2020 Limited has problems with it not recognizing the FOB is near it.
Your headlight most likely is not getting a good metal to metal connection, hence why it works and doesn't work randomly. Check the bulb itself and the connection it is receiving.

I drive a 2020 grand Cherokee limited I love it man is good for every weather with only 34,000 miles on it is the best it quick all wheel drive it just a good car to keep forever
I got 60000 on my hawk and only issues were the belts.
The only issue Ive had with my Trackhawk thus far is........ The GPS broke @8000 miles and thinks Im located 50 miles away. This also makes the Navigation unusable. Good news is that its covered under warranty and will be fixed for free. Work around is using Apple Car Play for Navigation.... for now.

I’ve got 31,000 miles in mine, I don’t baby it and have never had a broken belt. But yeah, those body issues are annoying.

I have a 2020 SRT and it's built solid I love that, nothing worse than having cheap stuff on the interior rattling around which I found with the AMG C63 I had. And the seats are comfortable as hell oh yeah and it's fun to drive.
I have 80k Miles on my 2017 Overland that I off road. I have no problems with it but then I don't have the wide fenders. That part bothered me that they would just stick them on cheaply like that. I want a SRT but the Fenders got me thinking stick with the Overland and just drop and 6.4 in it. Make it a true sleeper.
They are building 2021 Trackhawks on the same assembly line as the Durango Hellcat. Unlike the announcement that the 2021 Durango Hellcat is only being built for only 1 year, I haven’t heard anything about 2021 being the Final year for the Trackhawk
It's my understanding that epa regulations caused the death of the hellcat engine in suvs. But who knows

have a 2018 stock trackhawk 48k miles on it .. have driven it cross country . knock on wood not a flat or a check engine light ever . just smiles and hwy pulls . regular oil changes only sweet ride it is .

@@joemomma707 depends on if you wanna daily drive it. I say leave it all stock. Run some expensive rubber on it. Spend the money on expensive oil. Smiles. Per gallon. The pretty brutal. Even in stock. Hardly anything keeps with it if you pushing on it. I drive it like u stole it. Never tracked it. Yet. Not my cup of tea. Buy the ally extended warranty on it. Zero deductible. Parts are crazy expensive if they go. But it's a Chrysler. Will happen. Have a ball when u get your jeep.
@@skydream10 thanks for your help! I have a 2019 raptor with 54k miles. I leave it in sport mode and have tons of fun with it. I have a 2019 mustang 5.0 pp1 and I leave that in sport mode as well. I abuse them both. The mustang is too small. I want to trade it in for the jeep. It will be a daily so I’ll leave it stock. Thanks. How is the suspension and the breaks? Breaking is really important. Is it stiff? Performance stiff? The suspension I mean. I love my 5.0 because it is so stiff.
@@joemomma707 save your $ hold off on buying exotics. Have had 2 m5 one m6 and a s4 tuned all of them. Had a wrx sti tuned to 600 plus. High compression motors. Self consuming ,expensive hobby unless u wrench on them yourself. I didn't. In a year or 2 gasoline engines won't be able to compete at all with all electric. Think will keep my jeep for a few years. For daily driving. Absolute monster 60 to 80 $ a fill up. U could run 2 tanks a day if u commute for work. Look up rotors and pads for brakes. Will make u smile. As per replacement cost.

I have a 2019 TrackHawk I got in Jan of this year with 20898 miles on it,I was wondering if the supercharger belt breaks since it is separate can I still drive it to the shop or should I shut it down and get it towed?
Hope u didn't drive it. Tow it. Supercharger are expensive in not covered underwarranty
I bought a 2014 Jeep SRT with about 56,000 miles on it in 2019. So far I had to replace the water pump and radiator, both at two separate times years apart. I've had no other issues with it, it's my daily driver and I just went over 100,000 miles. It's a great vehicle, my second SRT since I had a 2007 Jeep SRT, and I have no complaints about it. All stock, except a Diablo tune, air intake, exhaust, and wheels. Jeeps Grand Cherokees are great vehicles and I hope you keep yours for a long time😃👍
What’s the Diablo tune does to the jeep?
Mostly to modify the peramters of the ecu like speed limiter, wide open throttle, timing, etc. It's just an instant canned tune vs taking it to a tuning shop with a dyno.

These cars were a bargain. My dads 2018 just hit 36k miles with very few issues. Yes brakes and tires are expensive, but they are easy to work on. The competition is well over twice the price. The drivetrain is very robust. Plan on never getting rid of this car and just rebuilding it as needed.
Also those green gates HD belts are not really designed for high RPM. Gates had a belt above this that is (just doesn’t look as cool!)

I just bought one and it doesn’t have a half second trans delay so idk why his is doing that
I had a 2018 Summit and I loved it. Only one issue I had with it was at the higher speed from 90mph the car was shaking and with and increase of the speed it was worst. Dealers couldn't do anything, only said I should not drive that fast as it illegal. So I sold it after owning it for 3,5 years from new. The comfort was nowhere near as good as my current GLE. But now I'm thinking to change the diesel GLE and get a Trackhawk just as a weekend car and maybe take it for a longer trips and an electric car as a daily. But I'm very worried about the customer service and knowledge from local dealers (United Kingdom) as I already have an experience with them. Dont get me wrong, but when you have to take your nearly 100k car to a FIAT dealer...OMG its not a good feeling. So I'm only hesitant because of the know how in the UK. P.S. I'm also considering the new Grand Cherokee with a 5.7 HEMI if they will bring it to the UK eventually. What you guys think? Thanks for sharing your experience...

My Trackhawk sounds like there is a loose suspension part on the left side. Cant find it yet but sounds like a slight bang when going over a speed bump drives me nuts!!! Mine is a daily driver 2018 25k mi

I have 56 on mine. Blew the supercharger on it. The dealership is putting on a new one. Didn't cost me anything.

I love the Grand Cherokee. I bought my wife a Sterling Edition so she can drive comfortably and safe with the babies. My next one will be either the SRT or the Trackhawk. I’m loving the new color interior on the Trackhawk with the Laguna and black combination so I might go with the trackhawk

I bought mine in 2018 with 100 miles. Biggest mistake of my life. The owner of the dealership drove the 100 miles. 2 Days later i started the Jeep with the remote starter and i noticed smoke coming out of the exhaust. It only happens at startup once in a while. However, i have to add 1 QT of oil every 500 to 700 miles. Adding oil turns me off. Every time i take it to dealership, they come up with an excuse saying its normal to Burn 1 QT every 1000 miles. I said mine burn 1 QT every 500 miles to 700 Miles. So they did the oil consumption test and started over filling the dipstick thinking i wouldn't notice. I couldn't believe it. Jeep dealerships that i have dealt with so far have no class. Jeep let me down after driving their vehicles for 20 years. I've owned every single SRT. I'm getting a Range Rover next. I'm out.

I have a 2015 Jeep SRT. Had lifter fail on me. Dealership did the work but never cleaned out the oil pan so month and half later (only 18xx miles later motor fail completely). So at 41,348 miles new motor was put in. Runs and drives great now 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽. Hopefully no more motor related issues will happen

The point I was trying to make was, yes he still would have had to pay taxes on the truck, but if he sold it he could have sold it $60-70k depending on the sale of the truck and kept all of it.
