I never understood this, when I used to mess around on the freeway even while racing someone, I will ALWAYS use my blinkers. you're going straight line for the most part, it isn't hard to tap with 1 finger.

290 kmh isn't fast! Not even 180 mph! Try being in a Ferrari 488gtb spyder at 212 mph which btw the car is limited since the cars components can't handle any more punishment. That's fast or flying a aircraft when your doing well over 500mph again that's bloody fast. 180 ain't, my RX-7 could hit 180 on the M1 motorway if it were legal and that car was as old as me had a twin turbo 3.0L V6 that i built because not a fan of rotaries. Yeah it's funny seeing something like that doing that but not that fast.

Its illegal to drive strictly in the left lane if you're not passing on the autobahn. Its a fun experience. I've been on it multiple times. had a 911 pass me doing 180 when I was doing 110. I felt slow.

I drove to Germany and got my 2005 diesel Kia Rio up to it's top speed of 109 lol... handled a bit like a boat but there were no bumps whatsoever.
Those roads are of awesome quality.
I hit 150+ in my c5 Corvette a few times and it felt pretty sketchy.
There's a documentary floating around about German autobahns. Those roads are seriously engineered. Something like 12 inches (in mm) of asphalt, as opposed to maybe half that for US roads.

Hell, I had my old 71 Firebird with a 327 up to 160 on my way to work one morning in 1982. Simply not remarkable a 700 hp modern car can do what they do now. We had to buil ours - lowered suspension, big sway bars, air dam, lightweight bodywork, gear swaps. Learned a lot along the way.
The new power plants are amazing!

288 x 1000/3600 = 80. He was going 80 meters per second, so if he decided to pick it up, he would travel 80 meters in one second. 80 meters equals to about 5x lenghts of an European semi truck.

You can't flinch when going this fast, i usually drive around 120mph or 200kmh and still you need all that concentration to not crash, it's crazy how little time you have to react when going at those speeds.

The interesting thing about this cars is that has no limiter on top speed like the german cars for exemple ! And if you buy one of these and you have highways that have no limit on speed you can push it to 300+ km/h ! Imoressive car and impressive for the money! Also the las Charger Hellcat (Redeye) has 800 hp ! That one can go for sure 320-330 km/h like a blink !

That's not 298 mph. It's 298 kmph (kilometres not miles). The digital speedometer is showing speed in kmph , the dial one is showing in mph . You can see when digital reading is 298 the dial reading is around 180. 190 mph is equal to around 290-300 kmph.

Compared to other supercars, this dodge models have an old interior designing but it has a superb acceleration.. loved it👍

Compared to proper sports cars it can't stop or turn for shit. It is NOT a supercar. In a way, it's better.
It's cheaper, louder, and a thousand times less stuck up. Four doors, but probably one of the last true muscle cars to ever exist.

autobahn typically doesn't have potholes, unlike america the german government knows what these roads are for and insures that there are no mistakes
america and other countries have many potholes due to government not creating it top priority because they "expect" people to drive the relative speed limit on their roads, not 160, only one could dream
Rubbish I’ve done 100’s of thousands of miles in Germany and are some of the worst. I find it funny how everyone goes on about the no speed limit. You only see the good videos without incident. I’ve driven on them many times when the local police are searching them trying to recover bits of ppl they cannot find

😄 ... not even in the snow. 60,000 miles as a daily driver 70% on narrow mountain serpentines on my Challenger. The best price-performance ratio car I've ever had, bought it in used condition, for less than many paid for their VW golf here in Germany. I love letting German 100.000€ cars eat my dust... of course you have to be able to drive, it's a man's car. Simple technology, easy and cheap to repair, I do everything myself. Many Porsche, Audi & BMW drivers have cried because of me and it will be many many more

FromHell well I would hope that it’s pretty cheap considering the interior is from 2008... and the quality control is horrendous. I’m not even a fan of German cars but I would drive any one of them over that boat that is a challenger.
@@trueduckcommander yeah, the interior is from 2008 what means that I have the ugliest steering wheel in car history, by far 😆 But from 2008 - 2012 the Hemi-Challengers had a lifelong warranty for engine & drivetrain and there is a reason for that. The technology is simple and and indestructible - if you have one with manual transmission. You will never find something like that on a german car, cause there are overengineered. In 2008 the € - $ ratio was 1:2, so 16.000 - 18.000 for a new Challenger was ok 😉 Personally I would never spent more than 15.000€ for a Charger/Challenger with 5,7 or 6.4 Engine, that is why I import & repair by myself. For a repairable Hellcat maybe 25.000 - 30.000, but this car wouldn't be worth more to me. In this price range they are good and unbeatable. As it traditionally has to be with a muscle car ... these were never the rich people's cars

Impressive sound and acceleration! But it looks to be a bit too floaty, if you ask me! You'd think such a big heavy car would be hunkered down better than that!
FOAD RIGHTNOW This and the comparably equipped Challenger will absolutely try to kill you at high speed. Most of the people that buy these from our Dodge store seem to like that aspect of the car. I remember a customer saying verbatim “If I wanted a sporting chance, I’d drive my wife’s Porsche. But I’m gonna die like a man.”

@@giorgospetinarelis9096 that's because this car is very heavy. It is also geared for 1/4 mile drag races which top out at around 220 Km/h. and the fact that it doesn't have good aero affects top speed.

Even without mods, the Hellcats have a stiffer suspension than most Charger models. And if this one was adjusted to track mode (I'd suspect it was), then it can get a bit rough on uneven surfaces like that.(then again, track surfaces are kept up better than most public roads)

The car has all sport tuned suspension and low center of gravity. You're just hauling tons of ass and its definitely sketchy with traffic like that. No time to react. I've gone 150 and it was an experience.

i wouldn't sit in a car that jumps around like that at speed... all it takes is a bigger bounce for the rear to come loose and you'll be eating metal/concrete really quick lol

I used to go 155mph all the time on my motorcycle by accident. People would always ask "how by accident?" and I would say easy, just run it to redline in 4th gear and shift into 5th for a fraction of a second.
